“It’s common cold, she just needs to rest and…”

Mo Yeon could hear some distant voices but she couldn’t point out which one was her husband’s or the doctor. She felt so dizzy and her nose was stuffy, and all she wanted to do was just lay down and sleep.

On the other hand, Si Jin was so shocked when he got called from Han Bin earlier that day.

“Appa, i think eomma doesn’t feel well.”

When he heard those words, he left his office immediately, he just told Kwang Soo that Mo Yeon was sick and he probably gonna stayed by her side. Most of his colleagues understood his situation because, well, he had four kids after all, and three of them were still very young.

“Appaa…” Han Bin stood up once he saw Si Jin opened the front door.

“Han Binna, where’s eomma?”

“She’s sleeping now, but i touched her forehead, it was hot appa, and eomma said she felt dizzy. I tried to call the doctor but eomma said she will be okay, she just needs to sleep, but i think she is not okay appa.” Han Bin explained everything while he tried to look okay, although Si Jin knew his oldest son must felt so worried but he couldn’t show it since he need to stay calm in front of his younger siblings.

Speaking about Han Bin’s younger siblings, So Young, Dae Ho, and Dae Hyun didn’t make a lot of noise or running around in the house, which they usually did whenever Si Jin came home. It amazed him how well his children could behave when they knew their mother was sick.

“Okay buddy, you can stay here with them, appa will go inside, have you guys eaten anything?”

The four of them nodded.

“Oppa called yellow ahjussi appa, yellow ahjussi give us food.” said So Young.

Yellow Ahjussi was the nickname of delivery service man from the nearby restaurant that usually they used if Mo Yeon didn’t cook.

Once again Si Jin was amazed by how mature Han Bin was despite he’s just turned nine.

He went to his room and he found Mo Yeon sleeping, he could see clearly that her nose was red and her breathing was a bit heavy.

He came closer and he touched her forehead, it’s true what Han Bin had said, her body was burning. He immediately took his phone from his pocket and tried to call his friend, Doctor Park.

“No need to call doctor Si Jin-ah, i’m okay it’s just the cold.” Si Jin immediately looked at Mo Yeon and she smiled at him, weakly.

“You are home already? this early? Han Bin must’ve called you..” She tried to sit down, but he refused her to do so.

“Shhhh, you are not feeling well Mo Yeon-ah, you need to rest.” He tucked her back to her sleep.

“mmm, i just need to sleep for some hours, then i’m gonna be okay.” 

Once he made sure Mo Yeon was back to sleep, he called the doctor right away. He just wanted to make sure that Mo Yeon was alright, and got proper treatment.

Doctor Park came 40 minutes after that, he examined Mo Yeon and told Si Jin that she would be alright, he also gave her medicine which she had to drink after the meal.

“Mo Yeon-ah, wake up my love..” Si Jin caressed Mo Yeon’s hair, he wanted to feed Mo Yeon since she needed that one before she had her medicine.

Mo Yeon woke up and sat down, with her back against the headboard of their bed.

“Here, eat something and you can go back to sleep, okay?” He offered her a spoon of soup and rice.

Mo Yeon ate three spoons of it, it’s not much but it’s better than nothing.

She didn’t remember anything after that, but the next day she woke up with a better feeling, she looked at Si Jin’s side of the bed and it’s already empty. She saw the clock, it’s already 11 in the morning, he must’ve gone to work, she thought.

Right after that she saw the door opened and Si Jin came with a smile on his face.

“Hey, you are awake.” He walked toward the bed and sat down beside her.

“Si Jin-ah why are you here?” Si Jin frowned his eyebrows when he heard her question.

“Why? because my wife is not feeling well and i want to take care of her.” He smiled at her and squeezed her hand.
