according to the plan

Seducing the Principal's Son

What the ? Jimin took a step back.

"You like me?"

Jungkook smiled wider, perhaps thinking that the wider his smile, the more genuine he looked. He was dead wrong. He looked quite frightening. He nodded furiously.

Jimin furrowed his brows. He glanced back down at the flower in the troublemaker's hands. Jungkook followed his gaze and clasped his hands together.

"Here. This is for you." He shoved the flower at the smaller boy. Jimin took it reluctantly.

The two had already begun earning strange looks in the hallway. It wasn't everyday that you saw the school's biggest bad boy smile so peculiarly at one of the school's least popular kids - not to mention the principal's son.

"What do you say? You want to date me?"

Jimin made a face. It did not go unnoticed by Jungkook, whose facade momentarily dropped. He couldn't possibly be rejected from a fake confession, could he?

"You don't even know me." Jimin tried to say, only to be cut off.

"Let's get to know each other. I think you're cute." Jungkook rambled. He didn't know what he was saying. All he knew was that he could not and would not be rejected, even if this confession was fake. "You're a good kid. And you're kind. And caring." He quoted, mentally high-fiving himself.

Jimin didn't understand what the was going on. Never in his life had he expected to receive a confession from Jeon Jungkook. He knew of the boy, sure. Everyone knew of Jeon Jungkook. He was undeniably good looking and tall but also quite intimidating. Talk of his mischief was plentiful in the small high school. Jimin had even heard rumors that Jungkook owned a gun and had shot someone sophomore year.

"Why does someone like you like someone like me?"

Because your father's an and I'm using you to teach him a lesson. Jungkook couldn't possibly answer truthfully. He glanced around to buy time to think of a plausible answer.

"I just think you're really c-cute."

Jimin hated himself for blushing at that moment. He couldn't believe himself. He lowered his face as his cheeks turned pink. Jungkook noticed the rosy cheeks and smirked.

"You can take time to think about your answer to me." He spoke, leaning closer. Jimin felt hot breath against his ear and his breath hitched. "May I ask for your number, though?"

Jimin gulped. He unconsciously his lips. It was then that Jungkook noticed the boy's Bratz doll lips.

"Okay."

"Okay?"

"Yeah. I'll give you my number."

Jungkook bit back a satisfied grin. It had begun.

Jimin chewed on his pencil. He kept glancing at the obnoxious notification on the screen of his cell phone.

"Hey cutie. It's Jungkook."  It read.

Jimin let out an uncharacteristic squeal. He buried his face in his hands in hopes that it would calm his hot cheeks.

In truth, he'd never dated before. Hell, no one had ever liked him before - no one he knew of, anyway. He didn't know what the to do. Was he supposed to text back? What would he even respond to that?! He screamed into his hands, tossing his cell phone aside. He shook off his strange thoughts and turned back to his homework. Focus returned slowly and evening became night. Before long, the boy felt his eyelids grow heavy. He was asleep before midnight, all thoughts of the text message forgotten.

Jungkook didn't look happy the next morning.

Taehyung couldn't hold back his chuckle upon seeing the deep frown creasing the boy's features.

"You okay?" Jin asked, more out of mock than concern.

"Fine."

"You look like you're going to kill someone." Namjoon commented as he opened his locker.

"Not kill. Just seduce." Jungkook replied ambiguously before he was stalking off in the other direction. "Now if you'll excuse me."

The three friends watched as the youngest walked off, all wearing similar expressions of confusion.

Jungkook watched as his prey fumbled with his locker. He shook off his frown before greeting the boy by slamming his locker shut. Jimin jumped in his skin.

"Hi Park Jimin."

Jimin's stomach dropped. He looked up into the dark eyes of the boy before him and suddenly came to remember the events of the previous day.

"Jeon Jungkook."

Jungkook almost forgot his next rehearsed line. The way his name rolled off Jimin's tongue startled him. He couldn't help but think about how he liked the way it sounded. He inwardly cringed.

"You never replied to my text."

... Jimin bit his lip, thinking of an excuse. "I was busy. I have a test coming up, um, later this week so," he mumbled, his voice fading off by the end.

"Will you still be busy at the end of this week?"

"Huh?"

"I'm asking if you'll be busy this weekend."

Jimin blinked. He knew he wouldn't be. He didn't do much on the weekends except lay around with Hoseok and Yoongi. He just didn't understand why Jeon Jungkook was asking.

"No."

"That's good. I'll take you out."

Jimin couldn't take his eyes off Jeon Jungkook's grin. The boy was a work of art, he had to admit. He bit down on his lip once again, contemplating his answer.

"Say yes." Jungkook urged, having noticed the boy's inner turmoil. He let out a sinister grin when Jimin looked up at him and finally nodded.

Everything was going according to plan.

Yoongi howled in laughter. He was sprawled across Jimin's bed, his head supported upon Hoseok's firm torso.

"This sounds like a chick flick."

Jimin made a face. He chucked a baby carrot at his friend's head. Yoongi avoided it with ease. Obviously.

"He can't be serious. Hey cutie." Yoongi erupted in more giggles. "What the ."

Hoseok wasn't smiling. Instead, he was frowning. He pushed Yoongi off of him, sitting up.

"Are you going to go? On the date, I mean."

Jimin shrugged. He leaned his back against the bed post.

"He's the reason your father has blood pressure." Hoseok argued.

Jimin chortled. "It's a good thing he didn't ask my father on a date, then."

"He's a certified player; not to mention that he's dangerous. He roughs kids up every other week." Hoseok continued. His voice grew louder with each word.

Yoongi sat up. He throw a worried glance at his best friend. In truth, he knew of Hoseok's secret crush on Jimin. He had always known because in all the years that he'd spent watching Hoseok, Hoseok had been watching Jimin.

"Relax, J-Hope. It's only one date." He spoke softly, placing a hidden hand over Hoseok's.

Jimin nodded in agreement. "It's only one date." He chirped, before rising to walk over to his closet. He needed to pick out an outfit.
