A/n- Basically I took the diary part out of the first chapter and I'm going to be putting the diary entries in a separate chapter so it's easier to read.

Dear Diary, 25/08/19
Hey diary! I don't know what to call you yet as I only found you today. I haven't written in one of these for ages so I thought I'd start today! Let me introduce myself:

My name is Chan, I'm 14 years old, I have an older brother Junhui who's in Junior year and I just moved house from Daegu to Seoul. I'll be updating you on how my life is here from now on!
So today we met our opposite neighbours and they're called the Hongs, they seem really lovely. I can't  wait to get to speak to them more. Unfortunately we were told by them that our next door neighbours on both sides of the house are busy working adults so they weren't home when we moved in, hopefully I can meet them and maybe they have children mine or Jun's age?

Anyway, it's 9:30PM and I need to get ready for school tomorrow as I'm properly starting school on Monday. I had an introduction day already when I walked around the school with the deputy head teacher, she seemed much nicer than the one at my old school so I can't wait to go to school to meet her again tomorrow although I'm really nervous. But I have to go to sleep now so I can wake up on time! XD 
I'm about to have a shower and then get ready to sleep now, annyeong!
