Description

Chan is an ordinary 14 year old boy who moves house from Daegu to Seoul. This means he also moves high schools from Shining Diamonds High in Daegu to Pretty U High in Seoul.

As a new freshman, he's nervous to whether he'll make any new friends or be able to keep up his grades with all the new school activities he's tempted to try. He has all the typical worries any teenager new to a school would have.

He's got his first day and the rest of the year all planned out, he knows how he's going to approach people, he's going to ask the teachers for extra help in subjects he slacks at...

he's not going to tell anyone here that he's gay. That was a past mistake he's not willing to risk again.

It all sounds great...until he starts to develop a crush on the senior that shows him around the school on the first day.

So I really wanted to try a high school au and in the style of a diary format so that's what this fic is \(^-^)/

Disclaimer: I'm not American-western (I'm from the UK) or any other country that classes 15-18 year olds as freshman/sophomore/seniors in school, so some of my information about the years the characters are in may be wrong TT (I'm having to google this XD). Where I live, seniors are called sixth formers and high school for me starts when you're turning 12 that school year (to the year you have your 18th birthday)

But I hope that the information in the fic is correct, makes sense and is fun to read!

(I'm sorry if you don't approve of Chan being shipped with anyone but I love Chancheol and really wanted to write a fic about them as I think there isn't enough, the leader-maknae relationship is so cute! Hehe.)

some chapters may be shorter than others as it's written in like a diary entry-like style so if they are short I'll try to post two instead of one long one.

I know there are a lot of high school au's about and diary-entry like fics but this is to say I'm sorry if I end up copying another fic without knowing, tell me if I do because that's the last thing I want :)
