Sun rays invaded and soon enough lighten up their rooms. Each was equally tired and mind exhausted from continually thinking about the leader's health condition. Tired or not, they manage to woke up by theirselves maybe because they didn't sleep half the night from constant worrying still they stood up and emerged their respective rooms one by one.

Taekwoon remained inside his room to call Hakyeon but the latter must be still sleeping because his calls were not answered. Again, last retreat he send Hakyeon a message that they will visit him.

Taekwoon, as usual, prepared the breakfast for the kids. They take turn to shower and finally they rode their car for their schedule. Taekwoon lead the kids for briefings they go for a short one just to overlook for the whole script of their schedule today thankfully that it's only an interview for a chinese TV news report. Earlier than the schedule's endshift, they grab the opportunity of spare time to buy some foods, flowers and gifts for Hakyeon and without wasting any more time because they were just super duperly exzoited to visit their hyung they headed right away to the hospital after the quick shopping and they didn't bother to change the sched outfits too.

While on the ride, Taekwoon called Hakyeon for so, so many times that he himself can't count anymore but the leader hasn't even one picked his calls. They arrived at the hospital still Hakyeon didn't answer his calls.

They run-walk in the hallway to get as fast as they could to the leader's room without looking they rushed their way. As they get nearer to the room they can heard noises coming from Hakyeon's room were mostly laughters.

They stopped at trance and looked at each other wondering who is laughing inside and who had made Hakyeon laugh like he's the happiest person ever.

Indeed, that was Hakyeon, who laughs his belly to torn apart.

Upon opening the door they entered inside and the laughters were gone like a balloon that was suddenly popped.

Hakyeon stopped with his mouth open due to halt laughter, five pairs of eyes on him; he tried to break the silence.

“Uhm...this is my friend, Wongeun.” Hakyeon introduced his friend. “Wongeun, this is my members.” He gestured towards the VIXX members.

Sanghyuk studied carefully the face of Hakyeon's friend. He definitely saw that face somewhere.

Due to Sanghyuk rude staring, Wongeun felt uncomfortable with him.

Wongeun lean to Hakyeon who is sitting with his back leaned to the bed hedboard and whispers something to the leader's ear that bring laughters to his lips and Hakyeon throws a weak punch to his chest.

If the members didn't know Hakyeon well they should at least guessed now that the two were lovers by the way they act towards each other especially they aren't awkward even though they only had a sheet of paper distance between them and the way skinships were all over them like it’s the most normal thing between the two, they sure are lovers but if they really were, at least, Hakyeon must have informed them.

But Hakyeon introduced him as his friend.

Maybe they are over-thinking the whole thing.

In time Sanghyuk had realized this Wongeun was the friend who spent the vacation with Hakyeon...the one in Hakyeon's IG posts.

This made things more suspicious.

Hakyeon looked at Sanghyuk signalling him to stop staring at Wongeun because its rude. Sanghyuk knows well what Hakyeon mean so he does.

“Why aren't you asnwering my calls?”

Taekwoon suddenly talked that brought awkwardness back.

Hakyeon remained silent for a while before he realized the question was meant for him.

“Sorry.” Hakyeon said.

“Sorry?...that's all Hakyeon?” Taekwoon asked scaringly.

Hakyeon flicnhed he didn't expect Taekwoon would throw his cold attitude at him in this kind of situation but the leader manage to make an excuse.

“My phone's inside the drawer and is silent.”

Taekwoon pulled opened the bedside drawer and picked out the leader's phone.

He wished he hadn't let his outburst turned this way.

He opens the phone easily and displays ‘VIXX Leo, 27 missed calls.’

It wasn't the number that must have brought anger to Taekwoon. And now it's not about the missed calls anymore. It wasn't the missed calls at all.

‘VIXX Leo’

That was him to Hakyeon.

Just...just a member of VIXX.

VIXX that only connects the leader to him.

The only relationship they had.

Taekwoon thought he was that ‘lifelong friend’ of Hakyeon but he must have thought wrong then.

He pulled out his own phone from his pocket and tried to call the leader's phone number for once but the same name popped up from the screen.

‘VIXX Leo, calling.’

“Try calling this phone.” He commanded the four members. But they deemed not to understand what Taekwoon meant. “NOW!” He yelled. “Starting from you Sanghyuk.” He explained.

Scared, Sanghyuk called Hakyeon's phone number and so the rest also did.

‘VIXX Hyuk’ ‘VIXX Ken’ ‘VIXX Hongbin’ ‘VIXX Ravi’

That's all they mean for Hakyeon.

A member.

Not kids...anymore.

No wonder he introduced them as s and not friends.

“Can I borrow your phone for a while?” Taekwoon asked Wongeun.

“Oh!?...ye-yes.” Flustered from a sudden request still Wongeun gave his phone to Taekwoon.

Taekwoon tried calling Hakyeon's phone using Wongeun's.

He didn't know why he's doing this to himself. He truly knows whatever name popped up on the screen now it doesn't matter anymore because that wouldn't change the fact that he and other four were no longer friends and brothers to Hakyeon but a member only...just and only a member.

‘Wonwonnie, calling.’

Upon the screen light up on and displayed the nickname it seems like the whole world of Taekwoon was darken and shut off.

Confirmed.

Hakyeon and I were no longer lifelong friends...or even just friends.

Taekwoon hand out the phone back to Wongeun and utter his thanks.

“N...” Taekwoon started. “We'll be leaving these foods and gifts to you. We still have schedule tom as VIXX and we didn't want to bother your private time with your friend.” He said and turned his look at the youngsters. “Right?” He asked. “Let's go!” He didn't even bid goodbye to Hakyeon he walked out of the room and run fast outside the hospital building and run again to the darkness of the buildings left side.

He stopped. Stood panting heavily.

He punched the wall hardly.

Then punched again.

The pain on his knuckles could not cover the pain on his heart.

“Its' too late.”
