ANOTHER UPDATE GUYS ...

                 Jessica had wandered up to the parking area to retrieve her book from Taeyeon's car when she spotted a bunch of girls piling out of a dusty green van driven by a frizzy-haired Lee Soon Kyu, a friend who worked on the school paper with her. As she drew closer, Jessica spotted Im Yonna and Kim Hyoyeon, too.

                Hyoyeon pushed her big, round sunglasses onto the top of her head as she greeted Jessica. Her brown eyes narrowed to a squint as she took in her bestfriend's miserable expression..

               "Your look like you've been crying," she noted with concern. "What's the matter, Sica?"

               "Oh, it's nothing." Jessica ducked her head. She was relucant to confide in Hyoyeon in front of the other girls. Im Yonna made her a little uncomfoetable--always trying so hard to impress people, to be center of things. And though Jessica liked Lee Soon Kyu (Sunny) very much, she just wasn't as close friend as Hyoyeon. "I--I must have gotten some sand in my eye," Jessica fibbed..

               "The same thing happen to me the last time i was at the beach," Sunny recalled in symphathy. "Choi Sooyoung was clowning around as usual and accidentally kicked sand in my face. I thought I was going to be blind!"

               "Please--spare me the cracks about being blind," Yoona chimed in, blinking behind the thick glasses she wore. They were always sliping down her nose, no matter how often poked them back to place. I can't even find my way out of the shower without my glasses!"

               They all laughed, and Jessica felt her mood lift slightly. But it sank down to her knees again as they neared the beach and she spied Taeyeon and Tiffany splashing around the surf, batting foam at each other.

              "Isn't that Tiffany Hwang with Taeyeon?" Sunny asked. "I heard she'd move back into the area. Boy, has she changed!"
