"Taengoo-ah lets have a date, after school." she asked.
"I'll be at the rehersal," taeyeon said. "I promised sooyoung that i will stick around.
As she walked towards her locker,Jessica couldn't help wondering about all tthe time Taeyeon had been spending at rehersals lately. But she'd been pretty busy herself, working on an article for the school paper on summer job opportunities, so she really couldn't complain. It wasn't until she ran into Seohyun in the corridor things starrted to fall into place.
Seohyun groaned laughingly as she held up the enormous shopping bag full of clothes she was lugging. "costumes for the play," she explained "Tiffany been going all out collecting this stuff. Personally, I think she'd gone a little overboard. I mean, this isn't exactly Broadway."
"Tiffany?" Jessica echoed.
"Yeah, she's doing the costumes for the play. Didn't Taeyeon or Krystal tell you?"
Jessica shook her head slowly. "No."
"Actually it wa Taeyeon's idea. He told Mr. Lee how Tiffany use to model clothes for this boutique in Paris. You've got to admit, she's really got style. I'm not sure Soshi high is ready for her, though."
Jessica was speechless. A dull, haqammering fear had started up inside her.
Suddenly it was all horribly clear----that the reason Taeyeon had been spending so much time at the rehersals, the reason he'd try to pick a fight with her at lunch. It didn't take a genius to figure it out. Taeyeon was interested in Tiffany------as more than just a friend.
Jessica fought the urge to run away. While Seohyun chattered on about the play, Jessica bit her lip to keep from cring. the ache in her chest was getting worse and worse.
She was so wrapped up in her misery, she practically plowed into Hyoyeon, who was trudging toward her next class.
