"Lee Sungyeol!" The teacher called him up to her desk.

"Neh, teacher?" He said respectively.

She handed him a paper that said:

55 out of 100.

"WHAT?!" He shouted. "I FAILED?!"

"Sungyeol, you need to start paying attention."

He let out a frustrated sigh and walked back to his seat.

"Sungyeol, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to cut you." The manager said.

"W-What?" He stuttered. "W-Why?"

"The econoy is bad, and you're one of the workers who don't try as hard." The manager shrugged and gave him an apologetic look.

"I-I understand." Sungyeol sighed and took off his uniform. He handed it to the manager and left the resturaunt.

Sungyeol walked past a ddukkbokki shop.

"Aigoo!" A familiar voice cooed. The girl was feeding another guy ddukkbokki. He placed one in and she had sauce on the corner of .

"Let me get that for you." The guy offered and leaned his head towards her.

"Hyemi?" Sungyeol called out.

"O-Oppa." She pushed the other guy away and held onto his arm.

"Get off me." He growled.

"I-It's not what it looks like.." She tried convincing him.

"Shut up." He glared at his girlfriend. "I know that guy. Kim Hyun Seok. I know you've been drooling over him ever since he moved here."

"O-Oppa.." She tugged his arm.

He threw her arm off his and walked away.

"What did I do to get myself in this position?" He mumbled as he walked to the park.

The sound of the fountain water seemed to ease his pain.

"Aish, how am I going to tell my parents?" He hit his head and groaned out loud.

"I'm so dead." He sadly shouted. 

Without him knowing, a girl wearing pink converse walked up next to him, staring at the fountain.

She stuck a cup of coffee in front of his face. He jumped back in suprise and looked at the person who held it up to him.

"Hi!" The girl exclaimed. "You look like you need something to cheer you up!"

"Leave me alone." He mumbled.

"I'm Jung Eunji." She smiled. "And you are?"

"Please, just leave." He sighed.

"Hey." She frowned. "Smile a bit, would ya?"

"I'm sorry I'm having a ish day." He grumbled.

"Do you need a friend that will listen?" Eunji asked.

"You're not my friend." He rolled his eyes.

Eunji took his hand and shook it.

"Now we're officially friends." Her eyes disappeared when she laughed. 

Sungyeol shrugged and walked to the bench nearby.

"So, what happened?" She asked as she sipped her hot chocolate.

"I failed a major test, I caught my girlfriend cheating on me, and I got fired." He frowned.

"Wow.." She sipped her drink again. "That , man."

"Way to help, Eunji." He rolled his eyes again.

"Oh hey!" She exclaimed. "I never got your name!"

"Roger." He curtly said.

"Ookay, Roger." She started, but he bursted out laughing.

"What? Roger?" She raised an eyebrow.

"AHAHA. ROGER. OH MY GOD. AHAHA." He held his stomach and fell off the bench. "YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVED ME. HAHA."

Eunji shook her and laughed. This guy was pure choding material.

"Get up, Choding." She pulled him up. "But seriously, what's your name?"

"It's Sungyeol." He wiped his eyes. "Lee Sungyeol."

"Nice to meet you, Sungyeol." She smiled. 

"You too." He chuckled.

"Well.. I guess it seems you're fine now." She laughed.

"Ah,.. Yes." He shrugged.

"Wait but.." She trailed off.

"Yes?"

"You laughed at your own joke, didn't you?" She raised a brow. He opened his mouth to argue, but Eunji stuck a lollipop in his mouth.

"Don't be so down, Sungyeol!" She stood up and walked away. "But if you are, you konw where to find me!"

He took the lollipop out of his mouth.

"Eunji.. Jung Eunji.." He said slowly and popped the lollipop back in his mouth.

"Thanks, for comforting me." A smile creeped up on his lips.
