"Sunggyu-yah!" Jungryul called out.

"Neh, hyung?" Sunggyu walked over to his manager.

"You have a duet with.." The manager squinted and looked at the paper. "A Pink's Jung Eunji."

Sunggyu stood there, quite dumb-founded. 

*Jung Eunji..* He repeated the name in his head. *Ahh! Busan girl!*

"You're singing 'Can I Love Again?' by 4MEN." The manager said. "Better practice. It's in a month."

"Mwoh!?" Sunggyu exclaimed. "What time do I have to practice?"

"I made time in your schedule." Jungryul said and took off.

"Aish." Sunggyu placed a hand on his forehead. "An earlier warning would've been nice."

"Eunji-yah!" Jungah called.

"Neh, unnie?" Eunji slipped out of the recording studio.

"You have a duet!"

"With who?" Eunji raised an eyebrow. 

"Infinite's Kim Sunggyu."

*Kim Sunggyu?* Eunji thought. *Ahh. Leader right? Oh! I like his voice!*

"When?" Eunji asked.

"Next month." 

"EHH?!" Eunji suddenly yelled. "That's not enough!"

"I'm sorry, but I can't change it." Jungah shrugged and walked out the door.

"Aish." Eunji made a face and talked with her Busan dialect. "They could've gave us more time.. Aish.."

Sunggyu walked into the main CUBE building with his manager.

"Excuse me?" Sunggyu politely asked the recpetionist.

"Oh hello!" She smiled. "You must be Sunggyu. The recording studio and vocal training rooms are down that hallway and it's the third door to your right."

"Kamsahamnida!" Sunggyu bowed and followed the instructions to the vocal training room. 

He knocked on the door slightly. There was shuffling of papers and then footsteps and for some reason, Sunggyu was nervous.

"Hello?" Eunji popped her head out with headphones around her neck.

"Are you Eunji?" Sunggyu asked. 

*You idiot!* He mentally slapped himself. *You know her from Birth of a Family!*

"Oh yeah." She smiled. "You must be Sunggyu, right?"

He nodded and she opened the door to let him in. 

The recording studio was a warm beige color with two small couches. 

"Oh! Sit down!" Eunji smiled. Sunggyu returned it and sat across from Eunji on the cream colored couch.

"So, what are we singing?" Eunji sipped her water.

"Can I Love You Again? by 4MEN." Sunggyu smiled.

"Ahh.." Eunji nodded. "Of course. 4MEN and Davichi."

"Do you want to get started?" He asked.

"Sure!" Eunji eagerly stood up and walked through another door.

Sunggyu took off his coat and followed. The recording studio was quite small, but very cozy looking. 

"So.." Eunji said awkwardly.

"Yeah.." Sunggyu returned. 

The atmosphere turned awkward.

"Do you want water?" Eunji tried.

"Sure." Sunggyu accepted. She went into the back room to get the water out of the refrigerator. 

"My, my, my, you're my." Eunji heard someone in the recording studio singing.

She peered out from the corner and saw Infinite's charasmatic leader, Kim Sunggyu, dacing to My My.

Eunji snickered and continued to watch. 

"Want your water?" She said loudly, coming out from the corner. 

Sunggyu abruptly stopped, and fell over in shock, knocking down two mic stands.

He turned bright red and Eunji held out a hand. Sunggyu took it, embarrased, and got back up.

"Nice singing you got there." Eunji teased as she handed Sunggyu his water. He opened the cap and drank a large gulp.

"Thanks." He chuckled. 

"I think you could work a little bit more on the choreography." She snickered.

Sunggyu made a face, but continued to drink his water.

"Alright! Let's get started!" Eunji clapped her hands.

"Are you ready, Eunji?" Jungah called.

"I guess." Eunji played with her hands. Her and Sunggyu practiced for hours to get it perfect. 

"You'll do fine." Jungah patted Eunji's shoulder. "Both of you."

"Thank you." Sunggyu said nervously.

Jungah left the room and it was just Sunggyu and Eunji.

"Ready?" Sunggyu asked.

"Nervous, but yes." Eunji laughed.

"Let's do well, Eunji." Sunggyu stood up.

"Eunji and Sunggyu in two minutes!" The PD called out.

"Neh!" Eunji shouted. She took the blanket off her legs and walked out next to Sunggyu. 

"Hyung!" Woohyun waved. 

"Oh!" Sunggyu ran over.  "What are you doing here?"

"What?" Woohyun stuck his tongue out. "I can't support my hyung?"

Sunggyu rolled his eyes.

"You must be Eunji, right?" Woohyun held out his hand. "Infinite's main vocal, Nam Woohyun."

"Annyeonghasaeyo." Eunji bowed and shook his hand.

"I think you guys should get going." Woohyun patted Sunggyu's back and bowed to Eunji.

"You look good with her." Woohyun whispered in his leader's ear. Sunggyu turned red and pushed him away.

"Bye hyung! Hwaiting!" Woohyun shouted from down the hallway.

"Aish. That kid." Sunggyu grumbled. 

Eunji laughed. "You guys are interesting."

"Sunggyu and Eunji on stage!" The PD called. 

"Let's do this!" Sunggyu held out his hand. Eunji hi-fived it and the two of them walked onto stage together.

"Now, a special stage with Infinite's charismatic leader, Sunggyu, and A Pink's powerful main vocalist, Jung Eunji! 'Can I Love Again?'"

The sad music started and Sunggyu took in a breath.

"I didn’t love , i didn’t know what love is
When you said you love me , I didnt know what love was
I shouldn't have let you go , i shouldn't have smiled
Why am i crying , it wasnt love so why am i crying"

Eunji stood next to him, swaying softly to the beat. As he finished his lines, she put the mic to .

"I want to hold you , wont let you fall
I have to say good-bye , we end here"

Sunggyu prepared his mic for the chorus which they sang together.

"Our love was deep, but we have to breakup
If you loved me a bit more, i wouldn’t have to leave
Dont think too much, you made this breakup yourself
We will be separated only for a few days ok ?"

"Do you think it’s the end?" Sunggyu turned to face Eunji. 

"Do you think it’s the end?" Eunji repeated, facing him. 

"Do you really think its the end?" Sunggyu's adlibs added to the sweet melody of the song. 

"Do you think its the end?"

"I’m speechless" Eunji's voice filled the entire concert hall."It’s forever right?" 

"How could you always be speechless to me?" Sunggyu sang, the depressing words making the stage emotional

"I was always like that, we don’t have hearts, it ends right?" The harmony blended together perfectly, Sunggyu's sweet voice, and Eunji's powerful vocals making a beautiful sound.

"Our love was deep, but we have to breakup
If you loved me a bit more, i wouldnt have to leave
Dont think too much, you made this breakup youreself
How can we do this
You have no one like me to call" They made their voices stronger, pouring their hearts into the lyrics.

"You don’t have to wait
You cant lose even once because of your pride
You still don’t know what love is" As the song came closer to the end, the music slowly declined.

"Could we love again?" Eunji softened her voice.  

"I could see that day come" Sunggyu looked Eunji in the eye. 

"Could we love again?" Togther, their voices created a beautiful sound that faded away slowly as the music ended.

Sunggyu continued to stare at Eunji until the lights went off. 

"Great job!" Sunggyu said right as they went backstage. 

"You too!" Eunji congratualted him.

"We really did well." He smiled.

"Well, I guess we have great team work!" Eunji flashed Sunggyu her adorable eye-smile.

"I hope we can sing another duet together one time." Sunggyu said as they walked back to their waiting room.

"That would be nice." Eunji agreed.

Sunggyu leaned down and kissed her cheek softly. 

"Then, let's go on a date once." He winked and walked out. 

Eunji stood there, a smile plastered on her face. 

"Kim Sunggyu.." She slowly said. The door opened and she was instantly hugged by Bomi.

"Great job!" Bomi cheered.

She lowered her voice. "You know, you and Sunggyu sunbae look really nice together."

Eunji laughed and walked out with her unnie.

*Let's see if you keep your promise, Sunggyu.*
