N is in Japan for his solo fan meeting and he has been there for quite some time so when he received a phone call from one of s late that morning, he doesn't think much about it. Thinking that they might just want to ask him or tell him something important because well, overseas calls are expensive and surely they won't call without a reason, right? 

He was in his hotel room, quietly practicing his singing when his phone rang. He glances at his phone's screen and when he sees who's calling, he smiles. 

'Jellyfish Jaehwan'

"Good morning, Jaehwan. What's up? "He greets cheerfully and grins when Ken's hoarse voice answers him. 

"Morning, hyung. What are you doing? "The main vocalist demands, sounding as if he was just harshly woken up from his sleep. 

"Nothing much. Did you just wake up? "N asks as he finally stop pacing around to sit down by the window, staring out at the bustling road outside, wondering what is it that is so important that the main vocalist calls him first thing after he woke up. 

"Yeah... "Ken answers, followed by a loud yawn that makes N chuckle. 

"And? Why did you call me? "He asks and this time, it takes Ken a while to answer. 

"Uhmmm... I don't know? "Ken says, sounding very clueless that it makes N frown. 

"You don't know? Did something happened? "

"No, nothing happened. "Ken denies quickly as to not make his leader worry. "Its just that I woke up and called for you and you didnt answer me and I couldn't find you in the dorm. "He explains. 

"You forgot that I'm in Japan? "

Ken laughs sheepishly. "Yeah, I guess. You're always there when I woke up so it's weird not seeing you around.I feel kinda empty, you know? And a bit lonely? "He mutters sulkily and N can clearly picture his pouting face. 

He smiles at that. "Aww... my baby Jaehwanie misses me. "he teases, expecting Ken to get flustered and is surprised when the latter admits to it. 

"Yes, I miss you, hyung. "

They both goes silent after that, both not knowing what actually to talk about.

"Do you want me to bring you back anything? "N asks after a while, honestly expecting Ken to ask him to buy a lot of snacks being the junk food maniac he is but once again, Ken's response isn't what he thought it will be. 

"It's fine, hyung. Just... "

"Just what? Do you want those Japanese cake? I'm bringing some back for Wonshik. I'll get you some too. "N offers but Ken refuses him. 

"It's okay, hyung. I don't want the cake. Or anything. "

N's brows furrow at the answer."Then what do you--"

"I just want you to come home,hyung. "

N sighs,shaking his head."Jaehwan,you know I'm working right ?"

"I know. I'm saying that please come home as soon as you can.I bet you're planning to have a vacation there once you're finished with your fan meetings,right? "

N scoffs because indeed,he did plan to stay in Japan for a bit longer than necessary, just to enjoy the country's summer but now that Ken has asked him not to,it seems that he'll be returning home as soon as possible. "I'll be home soon,Jaehwan-ah.Don't worry." He assures.

"I'm happy to hear that.Come home safely ,hyung."

"I will ,thanks,Jaehwan.I miss you too."
