The Japanese fan meeting is fun. They have a great time interacting with the fans, playing games, teasing and laughing with each other. But of course, naturally, all great things must come to an end. 

Hyped up for the encore, the members all ran out of the stage to mingle with the fans. It is great, seeing the happiness and excitement on their faces but when they finally make their way back to the stage, they realise that something is wrong. 

Hyuk is nowhere to be seen. Their maknae is gone. Just like that. 

"Hyukie?! Where are you?! "

"Hyuk-ah, get back on stage! "

They call out for him, thinking that he's still in the fan's crowd but they get no response from him and that's when a voice comes in through the in-ear they're wearing. 

"Hyuk is injured. We're taking him to the hospital right away. "

The information makes their blood runs cold and their faces turn pale but they know they have to keep being professional so as hard as it is,they plaster on their fake smiles and go through with the rest of the stage.

"What do you mean Hyuk is injured?! What happened to him?!" N demands loudly once they're properly finished with their stage,ripping off the mic as he storms deeper into the waiting room,searching the staffs' faces for anyone that could give him an answer.

"Hakyeon,calm down." Their manager tries his best to calm him down as it is obvious that the leader is on the brink of hyperventilaton.

"Then tell me what happened !"

"The confetti popped in front of his face and hit him. He fell down the stairs." The manager says and he didn't think it is possible for N's face to get even paler.

"Please tell me he's okay. It's not that bad,right?" N asks hopefully ,concern laced in the question.

"I don't know. There's still no news from the hospital."the manager tells him apologetically.

" Then take me there."

Arriving at the hospital,without the rest of the members who he has ordered to stay put,his legs go weak when he found out that Hyuk is currently undergoing a CT scan. Immediately, millions of negative thoughts burst into his.mind that he can't help but let out a loud sob when Hyuk finally appears,on a wheelchair, with one of his eyes covered with a medical gauge and a bandage wrapping the downside of his face.

"Hyuk!Are you alright ?!" He demands urgently and Hyuk flinches,startled by his loud voice but as soon as he realised that the person talking to him is his leader, he looks up at him and smiles, as best as he could with the pain he's in. 

"I'm fine, hyung. "He assures and hearing the confirmation, N heaves a sigh of relief before collapsing onto the nearby chair, unconscious tears trickling down his face. 

"I was so scared, do you know that? I'm so worried that something really bad happened to you. "He murmurs, staring down at the floor and letting his tears flow freely, not caring about his image at all. 

"It's not that bad, hyung. Don't cry. "Hyuk coaxes, shaking his head at how soft his hyung's heart is . It's a known fact that N would cry easily if one of them got hurt or even sick. 

N doesn't respond at first but then he finally wipes his tears away, looking more composed than earlier. "Can you go back to the hotel? Or do you need to be admitted?"he asks. 

"I can go back. "Hyuk tells him and N nods, caressing the maknae's head very gently before he help him off to the car. 

Upon returning to the hotel, no one says a word about how N seems to be glued together to Hyuk. They know how their leader feels and they completely understand it. Even Hyuk doesn't protest when N insists to tuck him in bed that night; something he hasn't done since Hyuk grew taller than him. 

"Call me if you need anything, okay? I'll be next door or I can stay here with you if you want? "N says once Hyuk is safely tucked in bed. 

"It's okay, hyung. I'll be alright. You should go and rest. "Hyuk says and N seems troubled but he eventually nods. 

"Yeah, okay. But you'll call me if you need anything, right? "

"I will. "Hyuk assures and satisifed, N switches of the light of the hotel room before making his way out. 

"Hyung. "Hyuk calls out just as he was about to close the door behind him. 

"Hmm? "

Hyuk opens his mouth and it looks like he have a lot of things to say but eventually, he settles with just one word. 

"Thanks. "He says and N smiles knowingly. 

"You're welcome. "
