"Are you willing to die for me? "

That question was uttered by N on one faithful afternoon, to no one in particular but the question was clearly heard by all the members. 

"Why are you asking that? "Leo lazily asks, looking away from his phone to have a look at N, who have a weird, blank expression on his face. 

N shrugs. "I'm just wondering. "he says, smiling before turning his gaze to anything but s. 

"Did you watch a movie or something last night, hyung? "Hongbin wonders since he knows N tend to think about things that he wouldn't usually think about due to movie's influence. 

N shakes his head. "No, I didn't. "He denies. 

"Then why are you--"

"You know I'm always willing to die for you, right? "N whispers and this time, they all turn to him in mild surprise. 

"Hyung, what are you talking about all of sudden? "Ken demands. He hates to admit it but those look in N's eyes are scaring him, it's like the leader is only there physically while his mind and soul has wandered away. 

N chuckles. "Jaehwan-ah, can I request something? "he asks and Ken nods absent mindedly, still trying to decipher the reason behind N's unusual behaviour. "Can you drive us to our schedules tomorrow? "

Ken frowns. "I can but why? "He wonders. "Is manager-hyung--"

"Yeah, manager hyungs all took the day off tomorrow. "N informs and eventhough Ken just nods, truly believing it, Ravi knows it's not true. He just talked to their manager a few moments ago and they didn't even say a thing about taking the day off but then, he decides not to question it. He knows N must have a good reason for lying. 

And so, the next day, instead of one of their managers driving them to their destination, it's Ken and eventhough Ken complains about how tiring it is, he still does it. 

On their way to their last destination of the day, which is back to the dorm, N finally offered to take the wheel and let Ken rest and of course, the main vocalist wouldn't reject the offer since he's already so tired. 

"Guys, one last word? "N demands once he started the car and Hyuk, who silently have a bad feeling since early that day, hit him hardly on the shoulder for that. 

"Don't talk like that when you're driving! "The maknae scolds and N laughs. 

"Why not? "He asks. "You know I'm always willing to die for you or with you, right? "He jokes and Hyuk glares at him before crossing his arms. 

"Wake me up when we've arrived. "The maknae orders, glancing around at his already sleeping hyungs before closing his own eyes. Except that he never managed to actually fall asleep because just after he uttered those words, there's a loud crash and the whole car is sent flying. 

The last thing he managed to see and hear was N, pulling Ken who was beside him into his embrace while looking at the rest of them who are at the back. 

"It's okay. I'm with you. "
