Chapter 24: Dreams.

Yuri looked at Nichkhun’s pissed face.

He’s jealous.

“Uh…didn’t you say you brought something, oppa?”

Nichkhun shot Jaejoong a glare before turning to Yuri and smiling.

“Neh, I’ve brought you some fruits! They’re really sweet and delicious!”

Yuri smiled.

Nichkhun’s always so caring.

She took the basket of fruits over from Nichkhun’s arms and headed to the kitchen to put them down. Sunny rushed to the kitchen, following behind Yuri.

“Yah yah yah! Where did you get that Jaejoong guy? HE’S HOTTT!”

“Stop squealing Sunny, I know he’s hot.”

Sunny giggled like a fan girl before sighing dreamily.

“Yah. What’s your relationship with Yuri, huh?”

Nichkhun demanded from Jaejoong the moment the two girls were out of earshot.

“Wha…what are talking about?”

“What am I talking about? Pfft, stop acting innocent, I know you’re after Yuri.”

Jaejoong felt his anger building up.

What’s up with this guy?!

“Will you just shut up?!”

“ANI! TELL ME, ARE YOU WOOING YURI?!”

Oh.

So he likes Yuri…

“Well, I feel an indescribable connection when I’m with her and I-“

“YOU BASTARD-“

Nichkhun was about to throw a punch at Jaejoong when Yuri and Sunny returned.

He withdrew his hand instantly and glowered at Jaejoong who ignored him.

“Jaejoong ahh, will you like a cup of coffee?”

“Aniyo, its fine. I don’t really enjoy coffee anyway.”

“Jinjja? Wae?”

“Because I had an accident with coffee when I was young.”

“Tell me about it!”

And so, Jaejoong, Yuri and Sunny chatted endlessly, leaving poor Nichkhun all alone.

Yuri ahh, talk to me.

I feel so bored and left out. ):

What’s so interesting about that idiot and coffee?

Don’t you like me anymore?

Feeling a little depressed, Nichkhun left the dorm quietly.

Yuri saw that there was something wrong and followed after him, leaving Sunny and Jaejoong all alone.

Jaejoong knew that Yuri was going after Nichkhun and felt a tinge of jealously.

“Oppa…”

“Yes Sunny?”

“Continue with your story please…”

Sunny batted her eyelashes at Jaejoong , and with a sigh, he continued his storytelling.

“O...OPPA! ...OPPA! OPPAAAA!”

Yuri grabbed onto Nichkhun’s arms as she panted heavily.

Nichkhun gave no reply and attempted to shake her hand off.

Yuri grabbed on even harder as tears started to well up in her eyes in response to the cold treatment that Nichkhun was giving her.

“Oppa, what’s wrong?”

“Nothing’s wrong. Go back Yuri.”

“Ani. I won’t leave until you tell me why you're giving me the cold shoulder.”

“I’m not. Go back and talk to your Jaejoong.”

“Oppa, are you jealous?”

“…”

“You are jealous, aren’t you?”

“FINE! YES I AM FREAKING JEALOUS. THAT GUY IS HANDSOME AND HAS MONEY, HOW CAN I COMPARE TO HIM? I'M JUST A GUY WITH NO-“

“Shh…”

Yuri giggled and placed a finger on Nichkhun’s lips.

“To me, you are the best looking guy I’ve ever met. I don’t care if you have money or not, all I know is that…”

Yuri tiptoed and hugged Nichkhun, as she whispered into his ear, the words he had been waiting for so long.

“I love you.”

Nichkhun was stunned.

He broke off from Yuri’s hug and looked at her straight in the eyes.

“Repeat what you said again.”

Yuri beamed and cupped Nichkhun’s face.

“Saranghaeyo, Oppa.”

Nichkhun pinched himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

And sure enough, he wasn’t.

“YESSS!”

Nichkhun hugged Yuri and swung her around, with Yuri laughing in happiness.

He set her down and as tears brimmed in his eyes, pecking her lips gently yet passionately.

“Saranghaeyo Yuri ahh.”

As he punched his fist in anger and sadness, Yunho dropped to the floor, along with his bouquet of flowers.

He had meant to spring a surprise for Yuri, but Nichkhun had shattered his plans.

No, I won’t just sit there and watch Nichkhun get all happy with Yuri.

I WILL HAVE HER BACK AT ALL COSTS.
