CHAPTER 16

"Rosie-" Jisoo stopped talking as soon as she entered the hospital room. She stared at her two friends, who's lips were locked. 

Baekhyun quickly moved away and sat back on the chair like nothing had just happened. He closed his eyes as if he were sleeping. 

Rosé stared at Baekhyun then Jisoo with wide eyes. What just happened?

Jisoo squealed and thought to herself "I thought she'd be bored and alone... I guess not..". She smirked to herself but then frowned. She realised that she had ruined the moment. 

Quickly taking out her phone, Jisoo pretends to call Lay. She left the room, leaving the two alone again. But not before sending Rosé one of her you-better-explain-later-and-buy-me-chicken. Anyways.... As soon as she left, Baekhyun's eyes snapped open. 

Baekhyun now stood beside the bed. "Look...I..I don't just care about you. I don't know if you remember what I said when you were-" He spoke but was cut off. 

"Did you mean it?" Rosé asked, looking into his eyes. Baekhyun gives her a sincere smile. His eyes showed an emotion she couldn't quite explain. 
"Did I mean it? Rosé... Of course I did. I meant every single thing I said. I want us to date, marry, have our own family, and grow old together. You're my Rose. I want to always be there by your side to help you through tough times and to make happy memories together."

Rosé was about to say something but Baekhyun cut her off "I love you". She tried to fight a smile but ended up grinning.

"I love you too" She smiled. He quickly kissed her cheek and gave her a smile, followed by a smirk. 

"So... You'll be discharged from the hospital soon.. That means we get to have our first official date soon" He winks. Rosé chuckled and nodded. 

Baekhyun scratched his neck "Uh.. Rosé... Would you be my girlfriend?". 

"No" She said, with a pokerface. Baekhyun's eyes widen. He frowned and looked anywhere but her. 

Rosé chuckled "I'm joking. I'd love to be your girlfriend". She gave him a quick kiss on his pouting lips. Baekhyun bit his lip and looked at her. 

"Don't do that..." She frowned. Baekhyun gave her a confused look "Do what?". She could tell he knew what she was referring to. 

Rosé sighed "Don't bite your lip". He does it again, his eyes showed amusement "Why?".

"Because..." She looked away. He raised his eyebrow "Because?". 

Rosé playing with her hands, looking at the floor "Because it makes me want to kiss you". 

"Then do it" He winked, teasing her. "Ha...Pfff..." She scoffed. Baekhyun chuckled at her. 

Meanwhile, Jisoo was with Lay, explaining what had happened.

"THEY WERE MAKING OUT! I WAS SO SURPRISED AND EMBARRASSED BECAUSE I REALIZED THAT I RUINED THEIR MOMENT BUT NOW I CANNOT UNSEE THAT. MY EYES AREN'T HOLY ANYMORE LAY!" Jisoo exclaimed dramatically while tugging his arm back and forth.
