Youngjae looked at the box on his dresser, letting his finger drag and gather dust on the lid. He knew that opening the box would be painful for him and he didn't want to but something inside of him forced him to lift the lid and take out what was inside. Youngjae held a small ring, made of blue flowers. It was falling apart sure, but Youngjae tried his best to make sure it lasted. This ring had been a symbol of a promise, a promise Daehyun had made when they were children. A promise of everlasting love, something that Youngjae no longer believe in and it was all Daehyun's fault. 

Youngjae turned to look at the opened envelope on his bed, an invitation left open. Youngjae had wondered when this day would come, ever since Daehyun had left him for her. Goo Hara had seduced Daehyun, taken him away from Youngjae when he knew she didn't love him. She wanted Youngjae to suffer and suffer he did. Now here he was, crying because he had received their wedding invitation. He wasn't going to go and instead he was going to travel, see if he could heal his broken heart. He knew that Daehyun would come looking for him but he didn't want to be found. 

He looked back at the flower ring and pursed his lips, remembering Daehyun's promise. 

I love you Jae! Let's get married when we get younger! I promise to always make you happy.

Youngjae threw the ring into the trash, along with the invitation. Youngjae was going to find his own happiness, whether Daehyun cared or not.
