4. Decent (Daejae)
31 Days of DecemberThis couldn't happen, not between them. But as he watched Daehyun pull out his gun and show Youngjae that he got it engraved with Youngjae's name on it, he couldn't help himself. He fell in love. Youngjae tried to hide the sadness in his eyes, knowing that he could never fully be a part of the gang. He wished that Jaebum had never given him this assignment, to infiltrate and get information about other gangs. He didn't want to betray Daehyun and the others but what could he do? He couldn't leave, the benefits were good enough for his sick mother, who depended on him since his dad left when he was five. He knew the other members had their own jobs as well since being a gang member didn't pay too well unless you planned a good heist. It was just bad luck that he was a undercover cop.
But right now, Youngjae felt indecent. Daehyun looked at him with such love and affection that he felt ashamed. He couldn't fall in love with Daehyun, to help Youngjae when he had to eventually leave but he couldn't help how safe he felt in Daehyun's arms. How wonderful Daehyun made him feel when they made love in the early mornings.
Daehyun grinned up at Youngjae, putting away his gun. “You should get your gun engraved too, so you can have me with you always,”
Youngjae chuckled, pushing back tears that wanted to fall. “You're so clingy, how cute.”
Daehyun pouted, “You're clingy too-” He smirked, “especially in bed.”
Youngjae pursed his lips, smacking Daehyun's shoulder. “Yah! You do the same. This morning you wouldn't let me go. I'm really sore.”
Daehyun wrapped his arm around Youngjae, sending shivers down Youngjae's spine. “But you love me.”
Youngjae hid his face in Daehyun's neck, sadly smiling. “Yeah, I do.”
