The stallion came to a halt when they both arrived at the little village near the harbor. The Knight got off first before offering her hand for Mulan but the latter didn’t take it. She just hopped off by her own and walked ahead of the Knight. Dahyun looked at her hand and scoffed before leading her Stallion away from the town.

DH: Ya! I’ll meet you later.

Chaeyoung nodded and went on her way first. Dahyun walked her stallion to a secluded place and teleported her precious horse away before changing out of her really sinister clothing into something more decent like jeans and a sweater top which the humans seemed to wear often. Meanwhile, Chaeyoung was still in her armor but no one cared. They knew she was on the good side and also frequent the place with the pirate. Chaeyoung was looking around at the adults and children shopping for fresh fish and goods before she noticed a fair lady with bright orange hair. She stared at the latter, looking at how radiant her skin was under the sunlight. Chaeyoung would be lying if she thought the girl wasn’t beautiful. She soon realised that the girl was looking at her with a smile and walking towards her.

DH: So, how’s your walk?

CY: Do I know you?

DH: Do you not?~

CY: Well you do look a little familiar…

“That’s because I’m the Blood Knight~” Dahyun leaned in towards the latter’s ear and whispered. Chaeyoung gulped a little at their closeness before the effect of the Knight’s words hit her. She was surprised that she actually looked so beautiful minus the armor and the mask. The Warrior cleared her voice and delegated tasks for the both of them. Dahyun was in charge of finding a ship while Chaeyoung tried to get the best prices on as much supplies as possible.

Chaeyoung didn’t expect the knight to do well because she, herself was much more closer to the locals at the harbor. But she was shocked when she arrived to see the Knight standing on a yacht, and waving at her to come over. Chaeyoung was still in disbelieve when she got on the boat. While she was packing the human supplies in the cold box, the renter was teaching Dahyun how to drive the boat and where to refuel if they ever needed. Also, he instructed her how to put up the sail on his modified Yacht so they would not be stranded if they ran out of fuel. Both of them set sail in no time and followed the wind direction.

CY: How do you know we are going the right way?

DH: Sometimes I wonder if you ever paid attention to your girlfriend.

CY: What does that have to do with it?

DH: Her ship only has a sail so she can only follow the wind and current to wherever right?

CY: …

Chaeyoung had to admit, she really doesn’t pay attention to Mina nowadays. Maybe that was why they fell out. Dahyun could see Chaeyoung’s mood getting more solemn and decided to make small talk with her so the atmosphere would not be dull.

DH: So, we haven’t introduced ourselves yet.

CY: Son Chaeyoung

DH: What a nice name~ Nice to meet you Son Chaeyoung! And I am Kim Dahyun.

Chaeyoung hummed and look back towards the horizon again, clearly not interested to talk to the Knight. Dahyun stopped and focused on her driving while Chaeyoung wondered where Mina was and how they were going to find her at this rate. Even if the boat was motorized, Mina must be miles away by now.

It wasn’t long before the pair saw land ahead of them. Dahyun steered the ship to the docks before both of them went to stock up on supplies. It was their 3rd day at sea but the pair showed no signs of improvement in terms of their relationship.

Chaeyoung went to a little clothes store to get some new clothing. Wearing armor was never comfortable so she might as well make her trip a comfortable one. Meanwhile, Dahyun was walking around the pier, visiting the ships of various merchants to see what kind of good they had. She was about to return to the yacht after an uninteresting trip when she spotted someone familiar from the corner of her eagle eyes. Dahyun her heels and followed the woman, careful not to loose her.

DH: Ya!

The woman turned around and her eyes widened. She immediately bolted, causing Dahyun to sprint after her. Since the pier was so chaotic, it took sometime before people realised that the two were about to get into a brawl. Boxes and baskets of food and goods were knocked over as the woman tried to lose Dahyun. But the Knight was agile and avoided them easily. The woman thought quickly and robbed a truck from a deliveryman, out running the Knight. But, Dahyun raised her palm and pointed it to the side, chanted some foreign language and conjured her stallion, which appeared from the edge of the forest. She hopped on and chased the woman.

Chaeyoung noticed the commotion and the last thins she saw was Dahyun riding after a truck. She cursed and ran after the Knight. They were supposed to find Mina, not to chase down some person. Chaeyoung managed to find a horse trader and paid a large sum for a horse because she couldn’t drive. By the time Chaeyoung arrived at the wreckage, she could see Dahyun holding the ragged woman by the collar.

DH: Where. Is. The. Heart.?!

“I will never tell you!”

Dahyun threw the woman across the ground and slashed her palm. Blood started dripping and transformed in to a blade. The Knight pointed it at the woman’s neck while she froze in fear. The knight looked at her with lifeless eyes and repeated her question again. However, the brave woman still did not tell her about the whereabouts of the idol. With a frustrated scream, the Knight raised her blade, ready to decapitate the woman when a firm grip on her writ stopped her.

CY: What do you think you are doing?

DH: Go away. It is none of your business.

CY: Yes it is. You travel with me and we are each other’s responsibilities now.

DH: Let. Go.
