When the final school bell had rang and all the students rushed out of the school, already complaining about how much they wished the weeks was over even though it only just started, Mir was standing outside of school with Jiyoung waiting patiently for Joon to come. He was only listening half-heartedly to Jiyoung as she excitedly told him in full detail about her day and how much she enjoyed this school; something about being around regular people than rich people made a big difference in personality and the level of niceness.
In every aspect, Mir was looking forward to going right back inside and talking with G.O. There was something about the man that made Mir very comfortable, he could be cool and nice, a great friend. But when time called for it, G.O was someone who listened when you needed to be heard. He could make sense of any situation and give the best advice, even if the best advice was hard to hear. After everything that had happened in the past two weeks, Mir really needed someone to talk to. “That weird teacher of yours? Okay, I’ll see you later then. I romantically idolize you, Mir,” Joon said with a smirk. Mir rolled his eyes and gave Joon a final hug before turning around to walk back into the school.
By now most of the students were gone or lingering around until the after school clubs began. Mir made his way through the hallway and entered G.O’s classroom. He walked over to the desk where G.O was sitting and grading papers, always staying late so he didn’t have to take work home with him.
“I take it you’re not living with your parents anymore,” The older man said without looking up. It wasn’t hard to make this assumption, because in just one class period G.O knew the truth. For one, Mir was wearing much nicer than what he generally wore. That and he just seemed much more relaxed than usual.
“No, I’m not going back there anymore. Joon wants me to come live with him and move in with his friend Seungho,” Mir told him.
