The night was cool and nice out, the moon was shining brightly in the sky and was surrounded by millions of stars that were twinkling. Mir was sitting on the bed staring out the window at the sky while his mind was full of thoughts. Across the room, Joon was sitting at the small table finishing up some notes and homework from the days class work. The day was late and it was nearly ten ‘o clock, but neither of them were feeling very tired.

Mir sighed softly and turned his head to watch Joon work. He smiled slightly since Joon was concentrating so hard, his tongue was poking out. He didn’t understand why, but it always made him happy when he watched Joon do his school stuff. He loved how determined Joon was and that he would accomplish anything just by putting his mind to it.

“Are you going to keep staring at me or come over here and keep me company?” Joon said suddenly, not taking his gaze of his work. Mir grinned and walked over to take the seat across him. He put his hands on the table and Joon reached over and grabbed one in his own.

“Your hands are soft,” Mir said, moving his thumb around Joon’s hand softly.

“Yours are tiny, but they fit perfectly in mine. Like we were just meant to be, right?” Joon replied with a smile. Mir nodded and grinned back shyly. Small gestures like this still made butterflies flutter and made him feel tingly and warm inside.

“Joon, we never really talked about us yet and I’m kind of confused about some things,” Mir said, bringing up the topic he’d been desperately hoping to have. Joon stopped what he was doing and moved his work aside, giving Mir his full attention.

“What are you confused about? My feelings for you? I was being honest, Mir, I really do like you a lot,” He said truthfully.

“No, it’s not that, I just mean…what are we to each other?” Mir asked a bit flustered.

“Boyfriends…unless you want to be a girlfriend? I don’t mind either way,” Joon teased with a grin.

“WHY WOULD I BE THE GIRL!? You’re the one who spends almost forty five minutes fixing your hair in the mornings!” Mir exclaimed with a laugh.

“Hey, don’t bring my hair into this!” Joon argued playfully.

“No, but I would like being your boyfriend,” Mir said bashfully. Joon smiled softly and reached for Mir’s hand again.

“So then what are confused about then?” He asked, getting back on topic. Mir sighed softly and averted his gaze, wandering if what he said might hurt Joon or something.
