Joon didn’t waste any time while thinking of what to do next. He wasn’t entirely sure what the plan was, but all he knew was that it wasn’t safe for Mir to stay here so close to where his parents would be soon. So while Mir rested in bed for awhile, Joon quickly packed a bag of clothes for the two of them. Once that was done, he set the bag by the front door and pulled out a phone book to check for a motel so they could stay there for a day or two until it was safe to come back. But he didn’t really think it was a good idea to bring Mir back to this place once they left.

“I’m so sleepy, Joon,” Mir yawned as they walked out of the bedroom.
“I know, the motel isn’t far so you can go back to sleep soon,” Joon promised him as he bent down to pick up the bag of clothes. He looked out the door, making sure the coast was clear, and then they both headed out and to the elevator.
The lobby was empty when they got down the stairs, th
