The days pass, and everything is the same. Mark is officially nicer to you and he always makes sure that you're okay, well, at least in front of the people who don't know that your guys' relationship is fake. Although Mark is nice, he doesn't talk to you too much other than when you're in the middle of a lesson. Skinship? That only shows up when Herin passes by. Mark always gets furious and angry whenever Herin passes by. He sometimes holds your hand or puts his arm around you. He sometimes would press his lips against your hair, but Herin simply passes by, inside Jaehyun's arms. Mark tries not to get mad at you, because he actually knows that it's not your fault at all. It hurts you to see him get so angry and in pain. You and Jaemin also secretly meet up every now and then on the rooftop during lunchtime. You two have gotten so close that he's really like a best friend, except you're really starting to feel something for him. It's a sunny October morning, and you walk to the vocal room. Mark gives you a smile and you smile back, seeing that he's in a good mood. 
"Why the smile?" you ask. 
"Is it wrong to smile?" he replies. 
"No, but," you start, but he chuckles. 
"Then there's nothing wrong. Ah, right. This is for you," Mark interrupts, giving you a small white piece of paper with your name on the front. 
"What's this?" you ask, opening the note. 
"It's from Jaemin apparently," he replies. 
You read the note that says: 
    Y/N, 
        I hope you have a good day! Don't forget to smile, beautiful! 
                
    -Na Jaemin 

You smile to yourself realizing how sweet Jaemin is to send you a note just to say those things. You gently put the note in your purse and sit back down in your seat. 
"What did he say?" Mark asks with one eyebrow raised. 
"Nothing. He just reminded me something," you reply, trying to avoid the question. 
"O-okay," Mark quietly says, looking down at the new song you are working on. The new song is called "It Might Be You". It's a solo song, but since you have been working on a lot of other solo songs lately, Mark wants to make it a duet. He starts to play some chords on the guitar, and he starts off singing:

You flip to the next page of the song and sing:

He stares at you deeply as you sing your part of the song, and it finally gets to the part where you both harmonize. You finish off the song after your part and both of you sing so perfectly it feels surreal:

The song ends and he strums the guitar one final time. He gives you a smile and you slightly smile back. 
"Good job! We'll sing that at our next monthly evaluation which is in about three weeks," he tells you, and you just quietly nod. You suddenly remember that you and Jaemin will be meeting up at the cafe in about 15 minutes, since you guys talked the previous night. 
You scramble and put all of your stuff together and say, "Mark! Let's call it a day off. Since we practiced for monthly evaluations and since we stayed up until 4am last night practicing, I need to go somewhere." 
"What? Why? Where?" he asks, flooding you with questions. 
"I just really need to go! Bye!" you say without an explanation, ready to leave the room. 
"Wait! This is the only day okay? You can get in trouble here at SM
