“Cheers to Hayoon for having a successful show!” Hwasa raised her glass of beer. “CHEERS!” Mamamoo, Hayoon, and Madtown raised their glasses. They all clinked glasses and drank. “Now, let’s karaoke and have fun~” Hwasa beamed gleefully.

“Oh! Can I sing a song?!” Daewon raised his hand. Hwasa laughed, “Of course!” Daewon quickly picked up the remote and searched for a song. “Now I’m worried about what song he’s going to sing.” Moos shook his head as he took a sip of his beer. “I don’t know, but it better be a good song.” Lee Geon declared. “Bruh, I’m still too full to be singing.” Buffy heaved a sigh as he sat back.

“Alright! HERE WE GO!” Daewon cheered as Big Bang’s song came on. “OH ME TOO!” Heo Jun quickly joined Daewon. “Let me join in too!” Hwasa laughed as she pulled Wheein along with her. “Come on Lee Geon!” Daewon motioned for him to go over. Lee Geon rolled his eyes, “Fine. I’m the best anyway.”

As the five began to sing, the others just sat and watched. There was laughter and shouting happening in the room. Buffy, Moos, and H.O shook their heads seeing how weird their friends were acting. Solar and Moonbyul couldn’t help but laugh seeing how funny everyone was acting. Jota and Hayoon were also watching, but they were just quietly watching from the sideline.

“Sorry, my friends could be a little weird sometimes.” Jota turned to Hayoon, who shook her head. “No worries. My friends are a little weird too. No, maybe it’s just Hwasa.” Hayoon giggled. Jota couldn’t help but chuckle seeing her giggle. “I hope you’re enjoying this.” Hayoon smiled. Jota nodded, “I am. I just feel bad because it feels like we’re interrupting your time with your friends.”

Hayoon shook her head, “No, it’s really okay. I’m glad that you guys could join us. Plus, I’m thankful that you guys were able to make it to my recital and enjoy it as well.” “It was a good show. You were very pretty on stage.” Jota blurted. Hayoon blushed hearing that. Jota mentally screamed at himself for blurting out something he wasn’t supposed to. “Uh, um, I mean…yeah, everyone looked nice.” He tried covering up.

“Ah, I see. Everyone did look very nice today. I really enjoyed all the performances.” Hayoon smiled a little disappointed that Jota wasn’t solely talking about her. “Um, well, are you ready for your tournament next week?” Jota nodded, “I am. I’ve been practicing a lot lately to make sure that I’m in shape for it.” “Isn’t it hard though?” “It can be, but I’m making sure that I don’t overwork myself because that wouldn’t be good.” Hayoon nodded in agreement, “I understand. It’s hard not to overwork though, isn’t it?”

Jota chuckled, “You’re right about that part. It’s really hard not to.” Hayoon smiled, “So don’t overwork yourself, alright?” “No need to worry. I’m taking good care of myself. Now that your recital is over, what are you planning on doing?” “Mmm, I’m not too sure. Maybe just relax because the semester isn’t over yet. However, I still have dance lessons so I can’t relax too much.” “Ah, I see. Is it to go to Europe?”

Hayoon shrugged, “I’m not too sure. I would love to go to Europe and talking to the sponsor today made me really want to go, but I don’t know if I’m ready for it. That means going abroad and being around people I don’t know and a place where I’m not familiar with. Plus, I’d be going by myself which can be scary.” Jota nodded, “I’m sure that’d be scary to go by yourself. Why don’t you have your friends or family go with you?” Hayoon shook her head, “I can’t do that. All the girls already have something planned after graduation and my family is comfortable here. It’s a tough decision that I’m going to have to make.”

Before Jota could say anything, Hwasa came over and pulled Hayoon to the front of the room. “Come on Hayoon. It’s your turn to sing now.” Hwasa laughed as Solar joined them. Jota watched as Hayoon laughed with Hwasa and Solar. A smile crept onto his face as she began to sing with Solar.

“You’re making it too obvious.” Lee Geon stated seating down next to Jota. “What are you talking about?” Jota questioned with a brow raised. “We can practically see hearts coming out of your eyes.” Lee Geon chuckled. “What hearts?” “You like her, don’t you?” “No, I don’t.” “But you think she’s cute?” “I mean I’m not the only one who thinks that.” Lee Geon heaved a sigh in frustration, “Forget it. I can’t stand you anymore.” Jota blinked at him clueless. Lee Geon shook his head in disappointment.

“Look at him sitting there.” Hwasa whispered into Hayoon’s ear. Hayoon blinked at her, “What are you talking about?” “I’m talking about Jota. I do have to apologize about pulling you away from him though. You two looked really cozy together.” “Stop that.” Hayoon playfully slapped Hwasa’s arm. “Ow. That hurts.” Hwasa rubbed her arm.

“You two are really cute though~” Solar beamed playfully. Hayoon shook her head, “Stop it you two. There’s nothing going on between us.” “That’s not what we see.” Hwasa wiggled her eyebrows. “Just keep talking with him and see if something sparks between you two.” “I’m not ready for a relationship yet.” “That’s what everyone says, but sometimes, things happen for a reason.”  “Stop it.” “And plus, anyone can tell that he’s into you. The way he looks at you says it all. I mean, I feel like you’re sending him some kind of love signal too.”

Hayoon’s mouth dropped open hearing that. “Close your mouth, Hayoon. He won’t find that attractive.” Solar helped Hayoon close . “You two are crazy.” Hayoon waved her finger at them. Hwasa and Solar busted out laughing at the situation. “Don’t just led him on, but actually court him.” Hwasa wiggled her shoulders making Solar laugh. Hayoon blushed, but quickly shook her head, “Stop it.”

“Just admit it. You like him, don’t you?” Solar giggled. “I do not.” Hayoon defended. “But you think he’s cute, right?” Hwasa grinned. “Well…of course, I mean everyone can see that.” Hayoon answered shyly. Hwasa and Solar grinned slyly looking at each other before looking over at Jota then Hayoon.

“I bet the two of you will have the cutest babies ever.” Hwasa joked. “Hey.” Hayoon pouted. Solar laughed and linked arms with Hayoon, “It’s okay. We’re just saying that we approve of him so you can work your charm and catch that fish.” Hayoon made a face as she poked Solar’s side making her laugh.

“Hayoon~” Moonbyul cooed. Hayoon laughed as she walked over to Moonbyul, who was dancing to the music. “Dance, come on, dance!” Wheein moved her shoulders from side to side. “Oh, you can dance.” H.O chuckled walking up to Wheein dancing. Wheein laughed, “No one said I couldn’t.” “Come on up Jota!” H.O motioned for Jota to go up to the front of the room. “No thanks.” Jota shook his head.

Moonbyul gently pushed Hayoon in Jota’s direction. Hayoon turned to look at her friend, “What?” “Go bring him up here. He can’t be sitting on his the whole night.” Moonbyul reasoned. “But why me? His friend invited him up here already and he said no.” “Because you’re the girl that he’s interested in so he’ll come up for sure.” Hayoon sent her a glare, “You, Solar, and Hwasa.” Moonbyul beamed, “We love you too~” She gave Hayoon another push.

Hayoon gave her a face before walking over to Jota, who looked up at her. “Why don’t you come up and join the fun?” She asked with a smile. Jota felt his heart skip a beat before clearing his throat, “I’m not a really good singer or dancer. I’m just going to embarrass myself.” “Oh, come on, I’m not that good of a singer or dancer either.” Jota raised a brow, “Not a good dancer?” Hayoon laughed, “Okay, I’m only good at ballet and nothing else. Now come on, they’re waiting for us.” She held out her hand.

Jota looked at her hand and chuckled. He lifted his arm and slipped his hand into hers. Hayoon grasped his hand and pulled him up onto his feet, “Now let’s go.” She pulled him towards the front of the room. Neither Madtown or Mamamoo noticed that the two of them were holding hands as they went up to the front of the room where everyone else was dancing and singing. They continued to hold hands as they danced shyly together.

“So, how about tomorrow night? Are you free?” Jota asked looking at the calendar on his laptop. “Friday? I can do tomorrow.” Hayoon replied. “Great, there’s this new restaurant that just opened and the reviews are really good.”

Hayoon laughed over the phone, “Alright if you want to go there then let’s go.” “Cool. I’ll pick you up outside your dorm?” Jota asked unsure. “Do you even know where my dorm is?” “Yeah, I dropped you off two days ago, remember?” “Ha. Sorry, I forgot about that.” “Mm-hm, sure you did.” “I did, but are you ready for your tournament on Saturday?”

“As ready as I could ever be.” Jota replied nervously. “Are you nervous?” Hayoon asked. Jota nodded while on the phone, “I always nervous get nervous when I have a tournament.” “Well, I think you’ll do great Saturday.” “And you’ll be there cheering me on, right?” “Of course, I am! How can I not support you?” “Good because I’d be very disappointed in you if you didn’t.”

“Jota!” Lee Geon c
