Youngjae didn’t know how to respond should he tell the truth? Yes, he had received Jaebum's letter but he didn’t want to read it because his parents just recently sent a letter that told him that they are doing well but don’t want to see him?  Should he just say that he overlooked the letter thinking it was just normal mail? Or should he run away?

“Youngjae?” the voice was right in front of him but Youngjae couldn’t look up at Jaebum knowing that if he looked into Jaebums beautiful black eyes he didn’t know what emotions he could hold back.

“Hi..” Youngjae whispered weakly, watching as the snowflakes fell, turning into water and melting away. Youngjae tried to focus on his shoes but his mind kept bringing back the process of the snowflake, almost like a play in his mind Youngjae saw Jaebum as the ground and Youngjae is the snowflake; if Youngjae fell too far Jaebum would melt him and Youngjae would disappear, just another snowflake in the wind.

“Did you get my note then?” Jaebum asked squatting down so that him and youngjae were at the same level, “Youngjae, are you okay?” Youngjae didn’t know what to do anymore as he watched an icy tear drop onto the ground, he had been fine until Jaebum asked and wanted to run away but luckily for him the lanky ice cream boy opened the door.

“Um sir your order is ready… ” The boy called and Youngjae stood up making his way inside when he felt a warm hand wrap around his wrist and pull him away from the door. Youngjae allowed himself to be dragged too exhausted to fight it. Youngjae's back was pushed softly against an alley wall and Jaebum placed both of his arms on either side of Youngjae's head.

“Youngjae..” Jaebum started, leaning in close. Youngjae turned his head away from Jaebum staring at anything to stop himself from telling Jaebum everything. “Youngjae please tell me what is happening?” Jaebum asked softly bowing his forehead in defeat and Youngjae couldn’t help it anymore.

“Jaebum.. Why did you leave me alone?” Youngjae’s voice barely came out a whisper and he felt cold tears slide down his face, he hated that he was so weak but he couldn’t stop the tears from falling.
