“Youngjae didn’t want you to know… he thought you would look down on him” Yugyeom explained trying to do damage control as Jaebum’s face didn’t scream happy but the exact opposite. “He wanted to be strong for you…”

    “He doesn’t have to be strong! When will he finally lean on me?” Jaebum exclaimed, standing quickly and scaring Yugyeom in the process. Jaebum sat down calmly this time and turned to the younger while trying to process what Yugyeom had just told him.

    Youngjae’s parents skipped out on family christmas because they don’t like planes and that was why Youngjae was so upset over Christmas. Now Youngjae’s landlord, who is not Yugyeom but Yugyeom didn't think Youngjae would let him in because Youngjae had been ignoring him, was doubling the rent even though he knew Youngjae could barely pay before the doubling. Youngjae was going to ask for financial support from his parents but it has to go through snail mail because Youngjae can’t text out of country and can’t pay for wifi. And yet Youngjae was able to be his happy go lucky self and hide all of this from Jaebum!?

    “But why?” Jaebum asked not expecting an answer from the slightly scared Yugyeom still sitting next to him. The boy shrugged somehow able to keep his composure.

“People do crazy things when they are in love.” was the simple answer Jaebum received

How could Jaebum help Youngjae? And fast?

“So Mark cheated on you?” Youngjae asked very confused about the situation. “But you were bragging about your trip?”

“I thought remembering the good times would erase the bad…” Jackson explained “But when that didn’t work I knew that he wasn’t the one for me, you are Youngjae. You always have been.” Jackson continued while leaning into Youngjae.

“Stop Jackson. I’m with Jaebum and I will not be some fling that makes you feel better about Mark cheating on you.” Youngjae yelled desperate to leave this god awful place. Youngjae knew Jackson was up to no good from his evil smirk, this wasn’t just a “chat” this was Jackson trying to ruin Youngjae and Jaebum to make him feel better about Mark and Jinyoung.

“You need money, I need an escape. We both gain from this situation.” Jackson tried once more his face becoming more and more filled with anger.

“I am not a e Jackson! I will not sleep with you for money!” Youngjae screamed again while thrashing around, trying to get away from Jackson's strong arms that had somehow s around him.
