Usually Youngjae felt relaxed by the scene of an empty bookstore, but today the scenery didn’t seem to posses the same welcoming aura that automatically came with the smell of books for Youngjae. It was quieter than usual, Youngjae guessed the cause of this was Yugyeom and Bambam both suspiciously taking their day off at the same time.

Youngjae couldn’t help feeling bored out of his mind and organizing the books while waiting for a customer to take Youngjae out of his trance of pure boredom was driving him crazy! While Youngjae was walking over to the nonfiction section to start his fourth hour of organizing he heard the bell ring signaling someone was entering the store. Out of excitement Youngjae ran to the front of the store, but he wasn’t paying much attention and found himself flying backwards into a bookcase. Landing on his back, Youngjae quickly scrambled to pick himself up and brushed himself off picking up the books that had scattered around him. Youngjae bowed before starting his normal speech,

“Hello, welcome to Owl’s Edge Bookstore how may I assist you?”

“You get out of my way for starters,” The man said pushing Youngjae aside, kicking one of the books that Youngjae was reaching to pick up.  

“I-I’m sorry sir let me just pick these books up then I can help you..” Youngjae scrambled to put his thoughts back together, his back hurt from the impact and he could feel anger rising in him from being treated like a piece of garbage.

Jaebum walked further into the bookstore ignoring Youngjae's attempts to help him, Jaebum knew the bookstore by heart, he could tell anyone where any book was in the giant store. He had walked in between these shelves more times than he would like to admit, he never needed any new book his house was basically a bookstore of it’s own with piles upon piles of book after book many collected from other countries from Jaebum's father's constant travels. But there was one book that Jaebum hadn’t seen in this store before...

Youngjae, embarrassed by his accident earlier returned to his regular spot behind the cash register; opening his book distracting himself from watching the handsome stranger swerve in and out of the book cases. Youngjae had just reached the best part of the chapter wh
