It was going to be a very long and very cold winter. Youngjae could tell by the way the snowflakes melted on his knitted gloves, the snowflakes took an extra 0.2 seconds to melt into a small puddle of water and disappear. Youngjae loved the snow, he loved the way it made him feel, he knew Christmas was right around the corner and he was looking forward to all the streets being tied up in bright fairy lights and finally being able to see his parents for christmas, Youngjae wondered about how his parents could have changed over the three years he hadn’t seen them for. Youngjae was in such deep thought he didn’t even realise that there was another person walking in front of him until he collided with a strong body. Youngjae fell back on the snowy ground and looked up to see a man looking down at him with a disgusted look on his face, almost like he was looking at some creature and not another human being who he had just knocked on the ground.

“Watch where you’re going,” the guy said stepping over the fallen Youngjae without even helping a hand. Shaken, Youngjae picked himself up brushing off as much snow as he could before continuing on his way to work. When he entered the owls edge bookstore he was met with a pleasant blast of hot air and the welcoming aura of the small bookstore. Youngjae made his way to the employee room where he changed into his work clothes.

“I guess you decided to show up in the end huh?” Youngjae turned around to see his two best friends Yugyeom and Bambam standing at the entrance of the change room smirking at him. This wasn’t a rare occurrence in the small bookstore, Youngjae was regularly late to work during the winter because he enjoyed being outside in the chilly air.

“What would you have done if I didn’t show up? Fire me?” he asked jokingly as he took off his shirt to change, out of the corner of his eye he saw Bambam playfully cover Yugyeom eyes protecting them from Youngjae's bare chest. Youngjae let out a chuckle changing out of his snow covered clothing,Youngjae's brain revisited the rudeman who had knocked him down just 10 minutes ago. Youngjae was filled with anger just thinking about it, luckily for Youngjae he had two friends Yugyeom and Bambam who would listen to his rant. Moving out of the change room and into the main part of the book store he started to narrate the story using much more colourful language than he thought he was capable of, as Youngjae was deep into the story he heard someone clear their throat beside him. Youngjae turned to the customer, fixing his shirt without even looking at the man he said the normal
