A torch light was spreading here and there through the small garden of the office quarters. Though it was dark in the nature, the security guards were lighting the environment by walking here and there in order to maintain the security. But they have already been defeated by the youth.

Jay was still there behind the window. Amanda was still thinking what to do. It was not that she has not lived with him under a same roof but the circumstances now were different than the past.

“Amy! What are you doing? Do you want them to find me and stick me behind the bars?” he asked again in a secretive voice. He noticed the frightened look at her face suddenly.

“Behind the bars?” she asked shockingly.

“Yes, they would think that I am a ert and definitely would put me in jail” he said making her more frightened. She hurriedly opened the window fully. She also has noticed the light was spreading through her window bit by bit.

With a winning and playful smile he jumped in to the room and closed the window and covered the curtain as well. Amanda was staring at what he was doing. The smile on his face made her think twice whether he has tricked or not.

“Wait a minute!” she said at once when he covered the curtain.

“Why?”

“If you came without caught by them, then you know how to leave and escape as well, right?” she asked looking at him with a pretended stuff face. With a smile he placed his hands in to his pockets.

“Then…..what about the talks about behind the bars?” she asked knowing now what he did.

“What I said was, as if, they would catch me then they will put me in jail” he said trying to pretend the seriousness in his face.

She said hitting his arm once. The nice masculine smile was just appeared in his face with her reaction. Taking out his hands from the pockets he stepped to her and caught her arms bending towards her face. Her heart jumped at once.

“Don’t you like to see me here?” he asked looking at her nervous eyes.

“No….” she murmured looking away.

“You were waiting for me” he said again trying to dig her eyes.

“Who said I was waiting? I wasn’t” she threw his arms away and walked to the bed and sat there pretending angry. A cute smile came to his face at once. He followed her and sat next to her and softly caught her hand and crossed his fingers with her. Amanda looked at him.

“I want to begin everything newly. My career and my life, I want to commence freshly. And………Simultaneously I want to start over with you again …….” He said in a serious voice to her. She felt his fingers were tightened within her palm and flesh. She smiled to him lightly.

“Shall we start over again?” he asked looking at her nervous eyes.

“Glen came today. He confessed to me. He said………..” she couldn’t continue the sentences.

“No need Amy! I am not interested about his stories” he said calmly.

“You need to listen. If not, I cannot answer your question” she said back to him. He nodded his head asking her to continue.

“He said you came there. And slapped him hard. And threatened him. But you didn’t ask anything about that night. Am I correct?”

“I know. I knew he would go to see you” he said calmly.

“Now I can face you without a guilty. I am the same one just like in the past” Amanda said looking at his handsome face with a smile.

“Whatever it is, if you feel calm then it’s a relief…If not you would kick me away” he said then.

“But what about my question? You have not answered me yet” he said freshly looking at her.

“Let’s start over. Who knows, maybe this time we won’t mess up”

She said with a smile to him. She was able to see how his eyes were shining like stars. That glamour was washing her heart and making her nervous again and again in this lonely silent room.

He said touching her cheek softly. His closeness and his glare were so strong enough for her to excite without a reason. She looked at his eyes and felt the hopes in them.

She sensed that he was coming towards her bit by bit rubbing her cheek softly. Her young heart was spinning like rubber ball where she sensed a little fright thinking about Maya at the next room.

“Heyyyyyyyyyyy…….I said to start over. Not anything else”

She whispered to him just before he touched her lips. Jay stopped his way and stared at her. He noticed her nervous eyes.

“Maya is coming” she said frightfully standing up from the bed.

“Hide somewhere….hurry up……….Hide” she said like a fish out of water. There was no place in the small room to hide. He hurriedly ran towards the bed, climbed and jumped to the floor and moved under the bed.

“Ama!!!!!!!!!” Maya opened the door and came in.

“Ahh! Maya! I thought you were sleeping” Amanda said with so much excited feelings. Her heart was beating highly.

“I am not”

“You are not looking well. Are you alright?” Amanda asked noticing the change in her.

“You are correct. I don’t feel good Ama. Do you have any painkillers with you? I thought you were sleeping but at once I heard your voice” she said with a week voice.

“I was in a call Maya. Wait a second. I must have some tablets” Amanda hurriedly searched the drawers when Maya sat on the bed.

“Here it is… Drink them now” She gave the tablets with a full glass of water to her hand. Knowing he was just under the bed, her heart was spinning excitingly. Maya took the medicine and spread the hand with the remaining water in the glass towards Amanda. At the same time, Amanda spread her hand towards Maya to check her fever on her forehead. At once the water glass, hit in Amanda’s hand and split all the water in her clothes.

“Heyyyyyyyy….!!” She yelled at once.

“No……..no… it’s alright. I will change later. Let me check your fever” She kept her hand on her forehead and noticed she was hot.

“Maya, you have fever” she said looking at her.

“I drenched in the rain today Ama. May be that’s why” she said standing weekly.

“Do you want to go to hospital?”

“No. I will be Okay with the tablets. Thanks Ama”

“Are you too alright? Your face was entirely red and pale.” Maya asked noticing the excitement of her face in a week voice.

“Ahh! Me!! Oh! Nothing…Call me anytime if you need anything” Amanda yelled when she was leaving away.
