“Amanda!!!! No!!! No!!!! Amanda!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Jay jumped from the bed shouting loudly. Without a wait he fell to the floor with his blankets and bed sheets. He was still unconscious without being able to understand where he was. He opened his eyes at the next second and sensed that he was on the floor.

“Jay!!! Jay!!! Are you alright?” He could see how his mother was running towards him. Finally he noticed that it was one of a worst and deadly nightmare. With mother’s help, he sat on the bed and drank the cup of water which was given by mom. She rubbed his hair slowly.

“Son! Is it the same dream?” she asked while rubbing his hair. He stared at her helplessly.

“No, it’s not” he said keeping the cup on the small table. Still his breath was high making his chest spinning a lot.

“Then what it is? From the day we shifted here, there was no single day that you slept peacefully. Always you saw her and cried in dream and then woke up shouting like this” Mom said looking at him sadly.

“I saw she was trying to get suicide” he murmured.

“What?”

“She was driving in the same tunnel and purposely knocked with a huge truck. Glen also was there” he explained shortly.

“Listen! You always think about her. That’s why you are not getting a good sleep”

“No mom, I feel that something terrible is going to happen” he said frightfully.

“Sleep now. Pray before you sleep” She stood up from the bed covering him with the blanket and switching off the light. When mom left, Jay started to imagine. He knew he should not have but memories of her were ghosting in his mind.

“What is this all about? Have you been well so far? You are not suffering, right? It’s ok to hate me as much you want but do not suffer like me”

He murmured to himself memorizing her smiling face. His heart was melting with the sadness making him want to check about her but he restrained. He restrained himself with much of difficulty.

“Ama! Ama!” Amanda could hear Someone’s voice running after her but she couldn’t figure out what was going on. She could feel that she was in a flat surface and people were travelling the surface where she was hurriedly.

“Her Blood Pressure was getting high. Her heart is dropping” She could here people’s voice here and there. She felt her eyes were getting darker and darker and she was entering to a stress free world little by little.

“Ahh!”

She felt her consciousness again. Something quick was pressing on her chest time to time. Again she was able to hear the voices next to her.

“Ama! Ama! Can you hear me? Ama!” Again the familiar voice was coming next to her. She wanted to open her eyes but no strength for it anymore. She couldn’t identify any voice but she could listen.

“Her heart is getting better now. But the bleeding in her head has not stopped. Hurry up…. Let’s take her to operation room. Hurry up” It was the last thing she could hear before she felt a deep sleep.

“Glen! Brother! Can you hear me?” Shane caught his hand tightly. Taylor was next to him.

“You know me, right?” he asked again. Glen nodded his head. Shane sat on the hospital bed with teary eyes.

“At least you know me. I thought you would have lost your memory” he said while weeping. Glen weekly held his hand and stared at him.

“Do you know how long would it take you to wake up? It’s a week man! It’s a week” Shane began to cry again.

“Shane! Come to your senses. Do not give him a pressure” Taylor held his shoulder and whispered. He nodded his head and wiped his tears.

“Okay…let’s talk later” he said getting down from the bed and covering him with the blanket.

“At last, he has got his consciousness. Isn’t that great?” Both of them stepped out from the hospital room to the balcony.

“But Still!” Shane’s eyes were again got blotted.

“Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!” Without passing a second both of them ran towards the room again.

“My leg! Where is my leg? Noooooooooooooooooooooo!” They were speechless and stoned looking at Glen who was crying holding his operated leg. There wasn’t a leg anymore and it was just up to his right knee.

“Glen! Brother! Calm down! Please calm down!” Shane and Taylor tried to control him tightly holding him but they were unsuccessful. The strength of a person who lost his precious leg was unbeatable. Taylor pressed the emergency bell. Nurses and Doctors were running to the room hurriedly.

With the injection he was injected he calmed bit by bit and fell to a sleep again making Shane’s eyes teary again.

“Where are your parents?” Taylor asked.

“They are on the way. We all will travel abroad tonight. My dad will do everything to make him stand once again” he said with the same teary eyes.

“I think the driver of Glen has died on the spot. The Lorry driver was drunkard and remanded by Police. Since Glen and Amana was in back seat they survived at least like this. I heard Amanda is still unconscious after her surgery” Taylor said sighing to the air.

“After everything has happened like this where on earth Jay is?” Shane murmured looking Taylor sadly.

“Ama! Come this way” Maya waited in the kids play room till she stepped there. She was still feeling down and depressed seeing her like that.

“Yes Maya!” Amanda stopped in front of her.

“Look! Who is here?” She said with a smile. Amanda threw a smile at the boy.

“Alex!” She smiled and waited him to come.

“How are you sis? Have you been well?” he hugged her with a smile.

“Mmmm….” Amanda smiled with her beautiful dimples.

“Wait a second. I will quickly go and tell her that you are going to stay for the lunch” She ran towards the kitchen at the next minute. Alex smiled with Maya.

“She is doing well Alex. Don’t worry” Maya said touching his shoulder.

“She did everything she could to give me the eye sight but look at her now……. How come this kind of a thing would happen to her?” He bent down his head without looking at Maya.

“It’s true. She is not the same Amanda but she will be recovered with God’s gracious. God will not do anything against her anymore” she whispered to him

“If there is a God, then something like this would not happen to her. I hate God” Alex greeted his teeth.

“Do not worry. Keep in faith brother. I don’t want to explain her health progress to you, right? It was like a miracle so far…She is improving day by day……We should be thankful to God at least she is now better than then” Alex nodded his head sadly.

“Are you going back tonight?” Maya asked from him.

“Yes, it has been two week I am here. Uncle needs me there sis and my college also will be going to start soon. I am coming for the next vaca
