Missing You

Blue Blossom

After a lazy morning filled with , Hakyeon felt pretty content. For once, he had completely taken his mind off his complicated feelings. He smiled as he watched Jaewhan gather up his clothes from the floor in order to get dressed again.

"So... got any plans today?"

"Yeah, I'm meeting up with a friend soon," Jaewhan replied as he pulled up his boxers and jeans. "You?"

"Is this 'friend' that Hongbin boy you keep talking about?" Hakyeon inquired, a slight hint of jealousy in his voice. Jaewhan smirked as he zipped his jeans up, picking up his black Tony Tony Chopper shirt and slipping it back on.

"Why~? You jealous~?" he teased his hyung, as he rumaged through his bedside table to find out his wallet and keys. His room was relatively messy, reflective of his carefree approach to life.

Although Hakyeon didn't want to admit it, he did feel slightly jealous. Knowing he had no chance with Taekwoon, he had begun to wonder whether he would be happy making his fling with Jaewhan a little more serious. He wasn't sure whether he really was developing feelings for Jaewhan, or whether he was trying too desperately to move on.

"No. I'm just wondering... do you like him?"

Jaewhan glanced over at his hyung, acknowledging that he had heard the question. However, he chose to ignore it. Jaewhan had never been good at expressing his feelings. He had always been so casual and laid back when it came to relationships, but things with Hongbin were different. Jaewhan did like him. He liked him a lot and he didn't know what to do about it.

"I'm gonna head off, anyways," Jaewhan announced with the same cheeky smile he always sported. "See you later~"

-------------------------------------------------------

"Beanie~" Jaewhan affectionately greeted his handsome friend with a hug. They smiled at one another, sneaking in a quick kiss before they wandered around the mall, finding somewhere to eat.

Inspired by Jaewhan's relaxed attitude, it had become a regular thing for them to look around until they found somewhere new to eat. This time, they settled on a small stand in the food court that sold jajangmyeon. After finishing their meal, they ordered patbingsu and decided to chat as they enjoyed the cold dessert.

"So, how did your exams go?"

"I don't know, honestly," Jaewhan admitted, frowning a little bit. He was beginning to regret slacking off so much, as he worried that he may not have done as well as he had hoped. He was touched by how sympathetic Hongbin was, simply placing a hand on his shoulder and giving him a understanding smile instead of lecturing him.

"It's alright, Jae. I'm sure you've done great," Hongbin reassured him, giving him a gentle squeeze before returning his attention to his food. "I'm not sure I've done that great, either."

"That's silly, Beanie. You're the smartest person I know," Jaewhan smiled, avoiding eye contact. It was rare for him to be so serious, and he found it slightly embarrassing. "I know you've done great."

"Jaewhan, that's... That's really kind of you," Hongbin smiled, blushing slightly. He was so used to only being complimented on his looks that recieving a compliment on his intelligence felt especially nice. Once he thought about it, Jaewhan was the only person - apart from his family, and best friend's - that had ever complimented him on something apart from his looks.

Ever since he'd began hanging out with Jaewhan more, he'd noticed the older boy slowly opening up to him. The more he learnt about him. the more he wanted him. Jaewhan was a playful flirt, but he was also an adorable nerd. The two shared a love for video games and anime, and found themselves spending a lot of time together hanging out in the arcade and playing games together. Jaewhan was also passionate, deeply caring about musical theatre with big dreams of landing a role in one some day. He came from a big family in which he was the youngest, which explained why he got away with being so cheeky and doing so much aegyo.

Hongbin couldn't help but feel privileged that he was getting to know Jaewhan on a more personal level. He had the feeling that Jaewhan wasn't the type of person to open up to others easily, and he was right. Hongbin was the only person that Jaewhan had felt close to, the only one who he had shared his interests with. The fact that he was falling for Hongbin was scaring him - despite how confident he appeared, Jaewhan had a deep fear of being rejected.

As they continued to chat, Jaewhan noticed a man walking around the mall selling balloons. In typical Jaewhan fashion, he spontaneously stood up, excusing himself and chasing after the man to purchase Hongbin a balloon. Hongbin shrugged, used to Jaewhan's spontaneous behaviour. He simply took another bite of his patbingsu, waiting patiently for his adorable friend to return.

When Hongbin noticed Jaewhan returning with a goofy smile on his face, and a heart shaped balloon in his hands, he burst into laughter.

"For you, prince Hongbin~" Jaewhan bowed playfully, handing Hongbin the string of the balloon before sitting back down. He grinned, finding Hongbin's laughter infectious.

"Thank you," Hongbin replied between laughter, tying the string of the balloon around his wrist. "It's beautiful."

You're beautiful, Jaewhan thought.

Hakyeon sighed as he turned off the shower, wrapping the towel around his waist as he towel dried his soft black hair in the mirror. He retreated to his bedroom, changing into a casual vest and sweatpants before making his way into the kitchen. Unsure of what to do with his day, he took a can of beer out of the fridge and sighed happily as he broke the tab and took a sip of the cool drink.

Bored and undecided, he walked over to the couch and sank into it, turning on the TV to a random channel and vaguely paying attention to the drama that was on. He pulled his phone out of his pocket, pressing the home button and staring at his wallpaper. It was a photo of himself with Taekwoon when they were in high school. He couldn't help but smile as he looked at it, feeling nostalgic for the simpler times.

Everything's so complicated now.

He set his phone down on the couch, closing his eyes for a moment as he took a deep breath. As he opened his eyes, he felt strange - as though he was forgetting something. Puzzled, he took another sip from his beer.

Hakyeon pressed the home button on his phone once more, studying the date as he tried to jog his memory.

And then it hit him.

Hakyeon always dreaded Summer. The two worst experiences in his life happened in Summer.

He sat up, placing his can of beer down on the coffee table as he frowned and tried to process the realisation he had just had. Lost in thought, he almost didn't notice that his phone was ringing.

"Hello?" he answered, having not checked who was calling before answering. He sat back, pulling his legs up onto the couch so that his legs were crossed.

"Hakyeon?"

Woonie.

"Hey, Woonie," he smiled weakily, happy to hear his best friend's voice. "What's up?"

"Sorry, I would have called you sooner but I had therapy," Taekwoon's voice was naturally quiet, but it seemed even quieter with the busy background noise on his end of the phone. He was calling immediately after his appointment, and was walking home through the bustling market. "I realised the date, and-"

"Woonie, you remembered?"

"Of course I remembered."

Hakyeon smiled, touched by how sweet and thoughtful Taekwoon was. "I... Thank you."

"Are you alright?"

"I... I don't know, to be honest," Hakyeon admitted, itching his collar bone anxiously. "I'd almost forgotten, actually. I guess I should go home and see my mom, huh?"

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"W-what?" Hakyeon was surprised by Taekwoon's offer. "You... you really mean it?"

"Yeah, of course," Taekwoon's voice was sincere. "I'm always here for you, Yeonie. If you need me, I'm more than willing to come with you. It'd be nice to see your mom, anyways. It's been ages."

-------------------------------------------------------

"I'm home," Taekwoon announced, locking the door behind himself. He smiled as he turned around and was greeted with a hug from Wonshik.

"Are you alright?" Wonshik asked, reluctantly ending their short hug. Taekwoon couldn't help but grin a little, touched by Wonshik's sweet gesture. Ever since he had ran home to look after him, Wonshik had become more involved with Taekwoon's mental health. He would always greet him with a hug after he had therapy, and would always ask how it went in order to make sure he was okay.

"I'm fine," Taekwoon replied, causing Wonshik to breathe a sigh on relief. Cute, Taekwoon smiled to himself. "Wonshik, I... I'm going away for a couple of days."

Wonshik's heart sank a little. He hated the thought of being away from Taekwoon.

"Oh? Did something happen?"

"Not really, it's..." he paused, considering his words carefully. He walked over to the couch, Wonshik following close behind. The two sat down, Wonshik growing concerned as he waited patiently for Taekwoon to explain the reason behind his impromptu trip. "It's... Well, I don't know how much you know, but... It's Hakyeon. It's almost the anniversary of his father's death."

Wonshik was a little taken aback by this news. He'd known Hakyeon for roughly two years, but he barely knew anything about his family situation. Once he began to think about it, he remembered that Hakyeon had always travelled around this time of year.

"He's going to spend some time with his mom, and I offered to go with him," Taekwoon explained, fiddling with the sleeves of his jumper. "He... Hakyeon acts strong, but... he could really do with all the support he could get. I know how much he struggles with this..." he trailed off, looking up at Wonshik with a slightly guilty expression. "...Will you be okay being alone for a few days?"

I think I'll miss you too much, Wonshik thought. Regardless of his feelings, he wanted to support Taekwoon. He found the fact that he had offered to travel with Hakyeon incredibly sweet, and he couldn't bring himself to get in the way of it. Forcing a smile, he nodded.

"T-thank you, Wonshik," Taekwoon smiled, gratefully. "W-we... We can talk on the phone, whenever. Just text me if you need me, okay?"

"Alright. Do you need help packing?"

-------------------------------------------------------

As Taekwoon prepared to leave, he felt a deep sadness in his heart. The thought of being away from Wonshik for three whole days just seemed so difficult that he almost couldn't face it. He knew that he needed to be with his best friend, but he also knew he was going to miss Wonshik painful amounts. He stood at the door, hesitating.

Maybe I could tell Hakyeon something came up? No... I couldn't do that to him. He needs me. But... I... I need Wonshik...

"Taekwoon, are you alright?"

"Wonshik..." Taekwoon closed his eyes, a faint shade of pink colouring his chubby cheeks as he threw his arms around his crush. He held him close, smiling as he buried his face in Wonshik's broad shoulder. He could feel his eyes watering as he held him tightly, only managing to hold back his tears as he felt the younger boy's arms wrap around him and hold him close. The two embraced for a lengthy amount of time, neither of them wanting their hug to end. Hesitantly, Taekwoon ended their hug, concious of being on time for the train. "...Call me, okay?"

It was an unforgivingly chilly night, and Taekwoon could feel his finger tips turn ice cold as he walked to the train station. Hakyeon was already there, waiting for him. His eyes were slightly puffy and blood shot - it was clear that he had been crying. Taekwoon greeted his best friend with a hug, which Hakyeon seemed incredibly grateful for.

The two spend the train ride mostly in silence, neither of them looking forward to the following day. Since it was getting late - and Hakyeon was especially exhausted from crying and being slightly drunk - he soon found himself falling asleep with his head resting on Taekwoon's shoulder. Noticing the time, and how much his heart ached, Taekwoon decided to check in on Wonshik.

To: Wonshikkie

I miss you already

Frowning, Taekwoon deleted what he had written and decided to write a different text.

To: Wonshikkie

Good night x

Although he was unsure about sending a kiss at the end of the text, it was too late to take it back now. He had already pressed send. Taekwoon bit his lip, nervously staring at his phone as he waited on a response. Much to his surprise, Wonshik text him back almost immedietly.

From: Wonshikkie

goodnight, have a safe trip x

He smiled to himself as he noticed the little kiss at the end of Wonshik's response.

If only it were a real kiss.

-------------------------------------------------------

"A-ah, J-Jaewhan~"

Hongbin gasped as Jaewhan threw him onto the bed, pinning him down and moving in to continue their passionate kiss. The boys moaned as their tongues danced together, fumbling around with each other's clothes sloppily to try and undress one another. It didn't take long for them to be wearing nothing but their underwear, and Jaewhan couldn't resist taking a moment to admire how incredibly y Hongbin's muscular body was.

The boys spend the next half an hour trying out all sorts of positions. It was difficult holding back, but when they both came together, it was worth it. Exhausted and sweaty, they both collapsed onto the bed, panting as they tried to regain their breath.

"T-that... was..."

"Incredible..."

"Yeah..." Hongbin panted, turning to smile at Jaewhan. Once they had both regained a steady breathing pace, they leaned in for a sweet kiss. Hongbin found himself lost in Jaewhan's doe eyes.

He eventually managed to drag his eyes away from his cute friend, and sat up. "So, we should get a shower, huh?" he smirked, about to get out of bed when Jaewhan grabbed his wrist and pulled him back down and into a hug.

"No, we can shower in the morning," Jaewhan mumbled, wrapping his arms around Hongbin's waist and pulling him closer. "Let's cuddle instead."

Although he felt a little gross, being so sweaty due to their rather intense show of passion, Hongbin was never one to turn down a cuddle. He smiled at the older boy as he wrapped his arms around his shoulder's, allowing himself to be buried in Jaewhan's chest. Much to his surprise, Jaewhan brushed a lock of his soft brunette hair behind his ear and planted a tender kiss on his forehead. It made Hongbin's heart skip a beat.

Not soon after, Hongbin fell asleep, cuddled up warmly in Jaewhan's arms. Watching how peaceful Hongbin was as he slept made Jaewhan truly realise how much he liked him. He just looked so beautiful

I've gotta end things with Hakyeon, Jaewhan thought to himself.

-------------------------------------------------------

"Welcome home, sweetheart," Hakyeon's mother smiled warmly as she pulled her son into a loving hug. She was so focused on greeting her son that it took her a moment to notice the familiar face he had brought along with him. "...Taekwoon?! Is that you?"

"It's nice to see you, Mrs. Cha," Taekwoon smiled as he was reluctantly pulled into a hug. Hakyeon really took after his mother, especially when it came to showing excessive amounts of physical affection. "It's been a long time, huh?"

"Oh, Taekwoon, look at you~" she smiled, pinching Taekwoon's chubby cheeks. "You've gotten so handsome~! Ah, sweetheart, you should have warned me you were bringing Taekwoonie along."

"Sorry, mom," Hakyeon smirked, finding the way Taekwoon was being doted on against his will to be fairly amusing. "It was kind of a last minute thing."

"Ah~ It really has been too long..." she sighed, finally letting Taekwoon go. "We need to have a little catch up later, okay?"

"Yes, Mrs. Cha," Taekwoon replied, pleased to see Hakyeon sort of smiling - even if it was at his expense.

After a quick change of clothes and a quick chat over a cup of tea, the three made their way down to the cemetary to visit Hakyeon's father's grave.

Hakyeon had always been incredibly close to his father, looking up to him and hoping that he would one day become as brave and loving as he was. He died when he was a little boy, a mere year before Taekwoon met Hakyeon. Although Taekwoon never had the chance to meet Hakyeon's father, he'd heard plenty of stories about him.

He was a loving husband, and a wonderful father to his only child. A brave man, who always put other's before himself. Selfless to a fault.

He was a firefighter, and died on the job. The house of a local family had gone up in flames, and when Hakyeon's father learnt that the family had a young boy the same age of Hakyeon that was still trapped in the house, he wasted no time charging in to rescue the boy. Although he managed to save the child, it was too late for him - the house had collapsed in on itself, and he died consumed by the flames, happy that he had managed to save the little boy's life.

Hakyeon had never really gotten over what had happened that day.

Taekwoon sat patiently with Hakyeon in the car as they waited for Hakyeon's mother to return. She and her son had always preferred to visit the grave separately, allowing them to take their time and pay their respects in private. Once she returned to the car, Hakyeon looked over at Taekwoon, a look of fear in his eyes.

Taekwoon looked at his best friend sympathetically with a soft smile, offering his hand out in order to comfort him. The two walked to the grave, holding hands, and although Hakyeon tried his best to keep it together, the moment he saw his father's name he burst into tears.

"It's okay, Yeonie," Taekwoon cooed, winding up hugging him and allowing him to cry into his chest. "He would be really proud of you."

-------------------------------------------------------

As she was preparing their dinner, Hakyeon's mother called Taekwoon into the kitchen. She took the opportunity to quietly thank him for being there for them today - especially for Hakyeon's sake. Smiling, he offered to help her with the cooking. Once the three sat down together, Hakyeon smiled gratefully at Taekwoon.

"So, Taekwoon, it's been... what... six years?"

"That's right," he replied, enjoying the comfortable atmosphere. It felt like nothing had changed, like the six years he and Hakyeon had spent apart had never happened. It was just like it used to be when they were young, enjoying a homemade dinner over at Hakyeon's place with his motther. "How have you been?"

"Oh, nothing interesting's happened to me~" she replied, chuckling. "I'm more interested in you. What have you been up to?"

Taekwoon glanced over at Hakyeon for help. He had never been good at this kind of conversation, despite how welcome and comfortable he felt.

"Woonie's studying composition, mom," Hakyeon interjected, understanding the look Taekwoon had given him. He smiled as he noticed his best friend relax a little, grateful that he was doing the talking on his behalf. "He's on a gap year at the moment."

"Oh, composition? That's music, right?"

"That's right, mom."

"Ah~! Taekwoon, I'm so proud of you. Doing what you always wanted to do~"

"T-thank you," Taekwoon mumbled, biting his lip shyly as he stared at his food in order to avoid eye contact.

"And what about your love life? Any special girl? Or, oh, boy! Ah, I almost forgot~"

"I don't think Woonie wants to talk about that, mom," Hakyeon interrupted through gritted teeth, killing that line of questioning before it even had a chance to start.

After they had finished dinner, and Hakyeon's mother had gone to bed, the two best friend's spent their night as they often did when they were young: cuddled up under a blanket on the couch, staying up late and watching random movies. Hakyeon was exhausted after the events of the day, and soon fell asleep on the couch. Not wanting to wake his tired friend up, Taekwoon made sure he was tucked in warmly under the blanket.

The two were meant to be sharing Hakyeon's bed, as they always did growing up. However, Taekwoon was somewhat glad Hakyeon had fallen asleep on the couch, as it meant they wouldn't be sharing the bed after all. Knowing his vulnerable state, he couldn't predict whether Hakyeon would try something. Mostly, though, he was glad to get some time alone - it meant that he could finally call Wonshik.

He retrieved a glass of water from the kitchen and his medications from his bag before heading to bed. He didn't bother turning the light on, simply swallowing his pills down with the water before climbing into the bed with his phone. He could feel his heart racing as he called Wonshik, waiting for him to pick up the phone.

"Hello?"

Wonshikkie...

"Hey Wonshik," Taekwoon grinned, unbelievibly happy to hear Wonshik's voice. "How are you?"

"Ah... you know, just tired. How are you? And how's Hakyeon?"

Taekwoon could hear that Wonshik was smiling too, which made his heart skip a beat. He closed his eyes as he tried to picture his crush's shy, handsome smile.

"I'm fine. Hakyeon had a rough day, but he'll be fine, I think. It's sweet of you to ask."

"Let him know I'm thinking about him, yeah? I had no idea about his dad, honestly."

"Yeah... he doesn't like to talk about it, really. They were super close."

"That -"

"I really miss you," Taekwoon unexpectedly blurted out, his eyes widening and face turning a bright red once he had realised what he'd just said. He was so embarrassed that he closed his eyes tightly and covered his face, stuttering an apology for his spontaneous outburst. "A-ah, s-sorry, I-"

"I miss you too."

I miss you too. Taekwoon's eyes shot open as Wonshik's words echoed in his head. Wait... Wonshik... misses me?

"Y-you do...?" he asked in disbelief. Little did he know, Wonshik had been thinking about him all day, unable to concentrate on anything because his heart ached as much as Taekwoon's did.

"I do," Wonshik smiled.

-------------------------------------------------------

After spending the weekend at his mother's house, Hakyeon and Taekwoon had taken an early train back home. Both exhausted and eager to get some rest, the two parted ways at the train station after a quick hug.

To: My Woonie~❤❤❤

Woonie, thank you for everything the past few days❤

Really ^^

I don't think I could have made it through it all without you... T.T

love you❤

From: My Woonie~❤❤❤

It's okay Yeonie, I hope you're feeling okay

You would be fine. You're stronger than you think ^^

You too

Hakyeon smirked at his phone before slipping it back into the pocket on his denim jacket. Before returning home, he had decided to grab a quick breakfast at the cafe. Although he still felt a little drained, having his best friend with him had really helped him get through the difficult few days. Unfortunately, though, it had made it even more difficult for him to try and move on from his obsession with him.

He'd thought he was starting to get over it, but having spent more time with him, he realised that his love was as strong as ever. Hakyeon wanted to move on, not only for Taekwoon's sake but for his own. Being so deeply in love with someone he knew he couldn't have made every day a struggle, and he wasn't sure how much more of it he could take.

Once he'd finished his breakfast, he made his way home, trying his best to not dwell on his thoughts too much. "Jaewhannie, I'm home," Hakyeon announced. It was unusually quiet, but considering the fact it was fairly early in the morning, Hakyeon concluding Jaewhan was likely still asleep. After putting his things away in his room, he decided to try and unwind with a book on the couch.

"Hakyeon?" Jaewhan yawned, groggily emerging from his bedroom. "I thought I heard you. Hey, welcome home."

"Hey, Jaewhannie~" Hakyeon smiled as he turned to greet the younger boy. "I hope I didn't wake you up."

"Nah, I'm good," he smiled, walking over to join him on the couch. "Where've you been? You kinda just vanished."

Hakyeon chuckled, placing a bookmark to keep his page before setting his book down on his lap. "Yeah, sorry about that. Something came up. I went to visit my mom, Taekwoonie went with me."

"Oh, alright, cool," Jaewhan replied, realising it wasn't something Hakyeon seemed keen to talk about. He ruffled his messy blonde hair before yawning once again. Although he had made the decision he needed to end his fling with Hakyeon, he had no idea how. Now didn't seem like a good time, especially considering how tense his hyung seemed. Jaewhan decied to try his best to act casual. "You want a drink or anything? I might make coffee."

"Tea would be nice, thank you."

-------------------------------------------------------

Taekwoon's home!

The moment Wonshik heard the key in the door, he excitedly jumped out of his chair, leaving his room in a rush in order to greet his crush. He had been so excited to see him that he'd barely had any sleep, deciding to spend his time working on a few more songs at his desk. As soon as Taekwoon opened the door, Wonshik threw his arms around him, pulling him into a hug.

"Welcome home~" Wonshik sang, smiling brightly as he rested his head on Taekwoon's shoulder. His hyung had been a bit shocked by the spontaneous hug, and as a result it took him a moment to reciprocate. Once he did, wrapping his arms around him warmly, Wonshik's heart fluttered.

"T-thank you..." Taekwoon whispered in Wonshik's ear, sending shivers down his spine. His warm breath and sweet voice made Wonshik heart feel like it was going to explode.

The two boys embraced for a lengthy amount of time, neither of them wanting their hug to ever end. It just felt so right. As though they belonged in each other's arms. Wonshik made Taekwoon feel safe, and Taekwoon made Wonshik feel alive. Yet, still neither boy realised the other felt the same way they did.

As the two reluctantly began to pull away from their hug, they both found themselves staring intently at each another's lips.

They look so soft, Wonshik thought.

I want to kiss him so bad, Taekwoon thought.

Taekwoon bit down on his lip in his usual shy fashion, unaware that this action had only strengthed Wonshik's desire to feel his lips pressed against his own. Caught up in the moment, with the sense of tension builing up between the two, Taekwoon cautiously began to move in for a kiss - only to be interrupted by Wonshik's phone ringing.

"," Wonshik muttered under his breath, frustrated by the interruption. He was unaware Taekwoon was moving in to kiss him, but he had been building up the courage to move in for a kiss himself. "I'm sorry, Taekwoon. Do you mind if I check who's calling?"

"N-no, it's okay," Taekwoon smiled weakily as he looked down at the flloor, dropping his arms down by his side to allow Wonshik to take his call. Whilst Wonshik was talking on the phone, Taekwoon finally closed the door and made his way into the kitchen, boiling the kettle in order to make coffee. As he was making his coffee, he watched Wonshik, spacing out a little as he considered whether he should confess his feelings. He had always been held back by fear, but having seen Hakyeon face one of his biggest fears so bravely, he felt somewhat inspired. Lost in thought, he hadn't noticed Wonshik was talking to him.

"Taekwoon? Are you alright?"

"Hm? Oh, sorry," he mumbled, looking down at his cup of coffee out of embarrassment. "Just spaced out a little."

"...You're not feeling ill, right?" Wonshik asked, concerned. The way Wonshik always looked out for him made Taekwoon smile.

"No, I'm fine. Honestly. I'm just tired, I didn't get much sleep last night."

"Promise you're okay?"

"Promise."

"Good," Wonshik finally cracked a smile.

"Who called you?"

"Oh, right. Uhm, it was my friend, Hongbin. He wanted to hang out, but-"

"You should go," Taekwoon smiled. "I'm gonna head to bed for a while, I think. Take a nap."

"Oh... are you sure?"

"I'm sure. Go enjoy yourself, Wonshikkie. We'll catch up later, okay?"

"Taekwoon, I... I'm glad you're home," he smiled, too shy to make eye contact.

"Me too."

-------------------------------------------------------

"Stop!" Taekwoon cried out as he woke up. As he shot up, he began to shake, tears slowly beginning to roll down his puffy cheeks. He'd decided to take a nap, having not had much rest over the weekend. However, as he fell asleep, he found himself having a nightmare.

As he sat in his bed, he drew his legs up, wrapping his arms around them and burying his head in his knees as he tried to calm down. He wasn't entirely sure what his nightmare had meant, but it had reduced him to tears. After a few moments spent sobbing, he took several deep breaths, finally managing to relax a little. He released his legs, slowly lying down again as he wiped his tears away on the sleeve of his oversized knit jumper.

Taekwoon furrowed his brow, frowning as he stared blankly at the wall. He'd always had nightmares, as long as he could remember, but recently he hadn't had any. The nightmare he'd just experienced was the first one he'd had in months, and he was shocked by how badly it had affected him. His nightmares would normally wake him up, but it was rare for them to make him cry.

He bit his lip anxiously, consumed with worry as he began to overthink.

What if I'm getting worse again?

Just going to fix some mistakes ^^; I'm working on the sequel for everyone who's waiting for it - sorry it's taking so long! I'm estimating it might be another couple of months but hopefully it's worth the wait. ^^ Thank you for your patience. ❤️
