Long time lurker, first time writer.

I am complete and utter VIXX trash.  Wontaek is my vixx otp and life blood and as a result will be the main focus of the story (and pretty much every other story I plan on writing... ^^;;), but the other VIXX boys will wind up paired off too~

This story does touch upon many sensitive topics so if you're uncomfortable with any of the following: mental illness, alcohol abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse, attempted suicide, self harm and hospitals. then it might be better for you to skip this one. Thank you for your interest regardless, I promise I'll do less dark fics too! ^^;

Characters:

Kim Wonshik, 19

Perpetually tired Wonshik is a university student with big dreams. He spends his time studying hard and writing music, hoping one day to achieve his dream of becoming a musician. When he's not working on music or  assignments, he's fast asleep, constantly exhausted due to his insomnia and messed up sleeping pattern.

Jung Taekwoon, 21

Taekwoon is a bit of a mystery. Quiet, timid and shy, he comes across as a cold and intimidating person, but underneath his icy apperance is the sweetest person you could ever meet. Deeply troubled with a dark past weighing heavy on him, Taekwoon is trying his hardest to cope with the difficulties and complexities of life.

Cha Hakyeon, 21

The friendliest and bubbliest person you could ever meet. Hakyeon is a bright light in the life of everyone he touches, as he's endlessly caring, thoughful and understanding. Always putting others before himself, he hides his sadness behind his smile. He's also deeply in love, but it's unrequited.

Lee Jaewhan, 20

Jaewhan is an eccentric soul who doesn't take life seriously. A joyful slacker, when he's not studying, he's often found playing video games or being promiscuous. Despite his carefree nature, he's ambitious, with dreams of becoming a musical performer.

Lee Hongbin, 19

Incredibly handsome, with a smile that would make anyone swoon, Hongbin isn't short of romantic offers. Although he's pretty laid back and used to having casual relationships, he's longing for something more serious. Passionate and artistic, he has his mind on one thing: finding love.

Han Sanghyuk, 18

Hard working Sanghyuk is busy juggling two demanding jobs and his studies with the goal of saving up enough money to move out of his parents house in mind. Although its rare for him to get time to relax, he remains playful and positive, enjoying teasing his friends far too much.

A/N: this story is in part inspired by my own struggles. I suffer from mental illness and was diagnosed with a learning disability as an adult. The character of Taekwoon is kind of a way of voicing and giving an accurate portrayl of what these things can be like to deal with. Hopefully as part of this I can give you guys more of an insight and understanding of what it can be like living with such problems, or perhaps help others suffering with similar issues feel less alone. Within the story, the problems the characters face will not be specifically named but if anyone has any questions about what they are, just ask me. I'm not scary, I promise~
