Lean on Me

Blue Blossom

It was New Years day, and Taekwoon had just come home from a lengthy therapy session. He was exhausted, and flopped down onto the couch, sighing.

"Taekwoonie?" Wonshik emerged from their bedroom, having heard him lying down on the couch. "Hey, baby boy. Are you okay?" he frowned, walking over to Taekwoon and kneeling down in front of the couch to pet his hair lovingly. "You look tired."

"Yeah," Taekwoon replied simply, not ready to talk about it. The session had dealt with his feelings towards his biological parents, and it was a lot for him to process. He needed more time. "Tired," he whined, forcing himself to sit up straight.

"Do you want a hot chocolate?"

A nod in response.

Wonshik smiled at his boyfriend warmly, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before heading into the kitchen to make him a hot chocolate. He was concerned about him, but he knew that he would tell him in his own time. Having lived with Taekwoon for quite a while now, he had learnt all of his different moods and how to look after him the best. When Taekwoon was quiet and untalkative, the best thing to do was to be quiet with him. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure he was okay, and smiled to himself as he saw Taekwoon yawn cutely.

"I'll just put it here," Wonshik smiled, setting the hot chocolate down on the coffee table. He went back into their bedroom, retrieving his lyric notebook to continue the song he was working on in the living room. Sitting on the couch next to Taekwoon, he smiled at him, before quietly returning to his music.

"...What are you working on?" Taekwoon asked, reaching for his hot chocolate with a curious expression on his face. As he took a sip of his hot chocolate, his curiosity rose, watching Wonshik smirk to himself.

"It's a secret~"

"What time are we meeting everyone, again?" Taekwoon asked sleepily, rubbing his eyes as he took another sip of his hot chocolate. Although the drink was comforting, it always made him sleepier.

"Not until tonight, sweetie. Go take a nap if you need one," Wonshik smiled, his boyfriend's hair. Taekwoon shuffled closer to him, resting his head on his shoulder as he stared at Wonshik's old room, lost in thought. "Something up, baby?"

"Wonshikkie, I was thinking..." Taekwoon mumbled, biting his lip shyly. "...You don't use your old room anymore, right?"

"Right?"

"...Maybe we could turn it into a little studio or something," he looked up at his boyfriend with a shy smile, his smile growing as he saw the excitement on Wonshik's face. "I mean, you've always wanted a home studio, right?"

"Y-you really mean it?" Wonshik asked, his jaw dropped as Taekwoon nodded softly against his shoulder. He was overwhelmed with happiness - it wasn't just something he'd always wanted, it was one of his biggest dreams in life. The fact that Taekwoon would even suggest it meant the world to him; the fact that he was serious about it made Wonshik's heart race. "Taekwoon, I... I don't know what to say..."

"Thank you, maybe?" Taekwoon smirked playfully, sitting up straight to kiss Wonshik on the cheek. "You don't have to say anything. I'm happy if you're happy."

"Bean, can I ask you something?" Jaewhan inquired as he handed his boyfriend his drink. The two had gone out to the cafe - Jaewhan ordering hot chocolate, and Hongbin ordering cherry tea.

"Of course," Hongbin smiled, taking in the comforting smell of his drink. He loved fruits, perhaps a bit too much - almost all of his food and drinks were fruit flavoured in some way. Since Jaewhan had come home on Christmas, the two were inseperable. Jaewhan was in high demand after his musical - he'd been the stand out star of it, and everyone wanted him to be in their musical. However, he was being more selective, wanting to spend some more time with Hongbin before having to potentially be apart for a long time again. Neither of their hearts could take it yet.

"Have you ever wanted to get married?" Jaewhan asked, taking a sip of his hot chocolate. His cheeks lit up a pale shade of pink as Hongbin grinned at him, his dimples showing.

"I've always wanted to get married~" Hongbin sang out happily. A romantic at heart, marriage had always been one of his biggest dreams in life. Hongbin had grown up being raised by his grandparents, and after seeing their strong marriage that had lasted so long, he'd always longed to have that himself. That special bond with someone. He sighed happily, thinking about how wonderful it would be to be married to Jaewhan. "What about you?"

"I've never thought about it much," Jaewhan admitted, looking down at his drink out of embarassment. I should propose, he thought. The night before Christmas, he had brought a beautiful diamond ring, and had planned to propose to him on Christmas, in front of all of their friends. However, he was too nervous about it, anxious about the possibility of being rejected. It was the main reason he'd always been so casual about relationships until he met Hongbin. He was a changed man, for the better, all thanks to his handsome boyfriend. But still, he couldn't bring himself to pop the question. "Maybe someday," he smiled weakly.

-------------------------------------------------------

Once the night arrived, the group of friends met up with drinks in the park to watch the fireworks. They counted down to the new year together, drinking and laughing happily, grateful for the strong bonds they'd built up during the year. As they all reflected on their year, they all came to the same conclusion: even though it hurt at times, it was the best year each of them had had so far.

Wonshik had made new friends, and fallen in love with someone who loved him back. Taekwoon and Hakyeon had finally reunited after so many years apart. Jaewhan had landed his dream job, Hongbin had finally found true love, and Sanghyuk's hard work had finally paid off. The pain had all been worth it in the end.

As the new year started, and the fireworks went off, Hakyeon had noticed a shooting star flying across the sky and pointed it out to his friend's excitedly. They all made wishes on the star, but none of them realised that their main wish was all the same.

I hope we're friends forever.

-------------------------------------------------------

Hakyeon woke up, confused at the smell of burning coming from the kitchen. As he was about to get up to investigate the smell, a very exhausted Sanghyuk stumbled into the room with a plate of burnt food.

"I'm so sorry, hyung," he apologised, awkwardly placing the food on Hakyeon's lap. "I... I guess I can't cook," he laughed as he climbed into bed next to his boyfriend. He'd only just got in from work, but he wanted to surprise Hakyeon with breakfast in bed. It was Valentine's day, and he wanted to treat his boyfriend. He'd fallen for Hakyeon hard. "Oh, I got you these. At least these aren't burnt, huh?" he joked, reaching into their bedside table and pulling out a box of fancy looking chocolates.

Overwhelmed by the sweet gestures, Hakyeon didn't know what to do. It warmed his heart when Sanghyuk acted so romantic. Taking the box of chocolates with a smile, he leant over to his boyfriend, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, Hyukkie. I love them~" Despite the breakfast being burnt, Hakyeon was determined to eat it all. Even if it didn't taste good, it was made with love, and thats what mattered to him.

"What do you wanna do today?" Sanghyuk asked, resting his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. He smiled to himself as he watched Hakyeon eat his burnt breakfast, finding it sweet that he was eating it despite its not so wonderful taste.

"Well, I did have one idea..." Hakyeon smirked playfully, finishing off his breakfast. "I'll be back in a minute~" he sang, taking the plate to the kitchen and going into his old room to retrieve a few mystery items. As he returned to Sanghyuk's room and saw him laying on the bed, a little confused, he couldn't help but giggle. He was hiding the items behind his back with a playful glimmer in his eyes.

"...What?" Sanghyuk asked suspiciously, sitting up right. His eyes shot wide open and his face turned bright red as Hakyeon revealed the mystery items: condoms and lubricant. Nervously, he gulped, excited to lose his ity on Valentine's day to the boy he was falling in love with.

-------------------------------------------------------

Taekwoon frowned as he woke up to an empty bed. As he sat up and rubbed his eyes awake, he noticed a box of chocolate on the bedside table, and a CD case. He smiled to himself as he picked up the CD, which had a label with Wonshik's awful handwriting on it.

For my baby boy ❤

Happy Valentine's day ❤

He grinned, excited to find out what was on the CD. He forced himself out of bed, making himself a coffee as he sat down on the couch with Wonshik's laptop and the CD. He put the disc in, his excitement growing as he realised it was a song called Lean on Me

"Hey, Taekwoonie~" Wonshik's voice played on the disc, warming Taekwoon's heart. "I made you a song, to tell you how special you are to me. I'm not very good at singing, but... I tried~" he laughed. "Well... here goes..."

Taekwoon's heart raced as the song started.

Taekwoon's heart felt like it was going to stop. His voice is amazing, he thought to himself as he smiled, finding Wonshik's singing to be beautiful. It was his first time hearing Wonshik's music before, as he'd always been so protective over it. He's an amazing rapper too! Taekwoon sighed dreamily, finding Wonshik's rapping not only cool but also incredibly y. As he paid attention to the lyrics, his heart melted. Taekwoon began to cry happy tears, so touched by Wonshik's loving words.

"I love you..." Taekwoon smiled to himself as he wiped his tears away on the sleeve of his knit jumper. He was so touched by Wonshik's present, so overwhelmed with love, that he felt happier than anything in that moment. He wished Wonshik was home so that he could give him a big hug. Checking the time on Wonshik's laptop, he realised he would be on a break from his classes, and rushed to his bedroom to retrieve his phone and call his boyfriend. "Wonshikkie?"

"Hey, baby," Wonshik answered the phone with a smile, happy to hear his boyfriend's soft voice. "Did you find your present?"

"I love you so much..." Taekwoon grinned, hugging Sarang the black cat plushie close as he sat down on the bed. "I love it, Wonshikkie. Your voice is beautiful."

"A-ah, y-you really think so?" he stuttered. He had no confidence in his singing, and hearing such a compliment from a beautiful singer like Taekwoon really touched his heart. "I- ...T-thank you~"

"Your rapping is y, too," he bit his lip shyly, wishing he could kiss his Wonshik. "How's your day going?"

"It's dull~" Wonshik whined. "Hongbin skipped classes to spend the day with Jaewhan, and Sanghyuk isn't responding to my texts. I should have skipped class too. I miss you."

"I miss you, too," Taekwoon smiled softly. "I'll have a surprise for you for when you get home, okay?"

"Ah, really~? I'm excited~"

-------------------------------------------------------

Valentine's day is the perfect time to do it, Jaewhan thought to himself as he handed his boyfriend a sandiwch. The two had skipped their classes to have a picnic together in the park, and despite the weather being a little chilly, it was a sunny Spring day. Nice and sunny... the setting is perfect, too.

"Thanks, babe," Hongbin smiled, taking the sandwich gratefully and taking a bite out of it. "Mm, this is good. We're getting better at making food, huh?"

You love him, just do it, Jaewhan smiled weakly in response, trying his best to build up the courage to propose.

"...Are you okay, Jae? You're kinda quiet-"

"Hongbin," Jaewhan closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. As he opened his eyes, he gulped, mesmerised by his boyfriend's beautiful doe eyes. He'd never been so nervous before in his life. "I... I need to ask you something."

"Sure, babe," Hongbin frowned, concerned by his boyfriend's behaviour as he placed his food down on the picnic blanket. It was rare for Jaewhan to be so quiet, or to address him by his full name. "What's wrong?"

"...Hongbin, w-will you..." he bit his soft lips, reaching into the pocket of his jeans as he kneeled down in front of his boyfriend. As he retrieved the box from his jeans, his hands began to shake as he opened it and revealed the diamond engagement ring inside of it. "...Will you marry me?!" he stuttered out hapazardly, closing his eyes tight as his face turned bright red out of embarrassment. He panicked when he didn't get an immediate response, worried that Hongbin was rejecting him. He opened his eyes, ready to apologise for asking when he saw Hongbin crying tears of happiness.

"Of course I'll marry you, idiot!" Hongbin cried happily, throwing his arms around Jaewhan and pulling him into a hug.

Jaewhan let out a deep sigh of relief, hugging his boyfriend back as he grinned, trying to fight back his own tears. For once, he wasn't able to win his battle against his urge to cry, and cried happy tears as he held his fiance tight.

-------------------------------------------------------

Taekwoon pulled away from their passionate kiss in order to ask Wonshik an important question. "Are you ready for your present?" he asked, smirking playfully.

"Y-yeah, baby," Wonshik grinned, excited. He watched Taekwoon's as he left their bedroom momentarily to retrieve the gift. Taekwoon was nervous about it, but he was pretty sure Wonshik would like it. He'd hidden it in Wonshik's old bedroom - a small bag, with a selection of toys in it. He shuffled around in the bag, pulling out a black collar he just knew would drive his boyfriend crazy. He put the collar on, biting his lip shyly as he wondered whether it looked okay on him. Picking up the bag, he hesitantly walked back to their bedroom, smily shyly as Wonshik's jaw dropped upon seeing him in a collar. "B-baby-"

"I got you some... t-toys," he bit his lip shyly, walking over to the bed to hand Wonshik the bag. He'd read some of Wonshik's lyrics and was inspired, especially by a song his boyfriend had written called Chained Up. "D-do you like them?"

As Wonshik looked through the bag, his eyes widened, biting his lip in lust as he imagined using them on Taekwoon. He was particularly intrigued by the silky black rope he found, and took it out of the bag to use it. "I love them, baby," he smiled as Taekwoon straddled him, pulling him into a kiss. "And you look so ing hot in that collar..." he whispered into Taekwoon's ear, wrapping his arm around his waist. He grabbed the bottom of Taekwoon's shirt, taking it off of him as they began to make out again.

It didn't take long for the boys to be , Wonshik pinning Taekwoon down by the shoulders as he bit hard at his neck, leaving marks and making him moan louder than usual. Something about the way that collar looked on Taekwoon drove Wonshik crazy, and he couldn't help but be rougher than usual. He sat back for a moment, taking in how beautiful Taekwoon looked laying there, slightly sweaty and panting. "Baby?"

"Y-yeah?"

"Do you wanna try something...?" Wonshik asked, picking up the rope from their bedside table and smirking playfully. After recieving a very shy nod in response, Wonshik sat back more, allowing Taekwoon to sit up. He smiled warmly, giving Taekwoon a sweet kiss. "Hold your hands out, baby."

Taekwoon bit his lip, his cheeks turning a faint shade of pink as he held his hands out to Wonshik hesitantly. He swooned as Wonshik took them, kissing them both before holding them behind his back, tying them together in a relatively tight knot so that he couldn't move them. Once they were tied behind his back, Wonshik moved. "Get on your knees for me, baby?" Wonshik asked in a deep voice that made Taekwoon's heart skip a beat.

"O-okay."

Once Taekwoon was in position, Wonshik positioned himself behind him, pushing his head down into the bedsheets. "Ready, baby?"

"Y-yes~" Taekwoon moaned out softly, enjoying how rough Wonshik was being with him.

"Good boy," Wonshik smirked, taking his boyfriend from behind. He let out a deep, low moan as he began to inside of Taekwoon. He looks beautiful, he thought to himself as he admired his angelic boyfriend - a collar around his neck, his hands tied behind his back, and his head pressed down into the bedsheets. Wonshik couldn't help but be rougher, pulling Taekwoon's hair a little as he built up a faster pace, ing harder than he ever had before. He'd even began to throw in a few spanks, leaving red hand prints on Taekwoon's porcelain skin as the boys moaned, louder and louder until they both came. It didn't last long, but it was incredible.

"Are you okay, baby?" Wonshik asked, untying his boyfriend's hands. He noticed he'd left rope shaped marks around Taekwoon's wrists, and felt a little guilty about tying it so tightly. "I'm sorry if I was too rough-"

"No, I loved it," Taekwoon panted, trying to regain a steady breathing pace, cuddling his boyfriend once he had control over his hands again. He gave Wonshik a sweet kiss before admitting something, shyly. "I... I r-really... really liked it when you called me a good boy..." he whispered, embarrassed.

"You're my good boy," Wonshik smirked, brushing Taekwoon's sweaty fringe behind his ear to kiss his forehead. "I love you."

"I love you more."

-------------------------------------------------------

"Good morning, sleepy head~" Taekwoon smiled, brushing a lock of Wonshik's fluffy blonde hair behind his ear to kiss his forehead lovingly. It was Wonshik's birthday, and he was eager to give him his present. "I made you breakfast."

"Mm? Morning baby," Wonshik yawned sleepily, rubbing his eyes as he sat up with a smile on his face. He'd forgotten it was his birthday. "Thank you baby- whats this about?" he asked as he noticed a card on the tray of food and coffee. Taekwoon had made him heart shaped toast, but it was a much nicer shaper than Wonshik's ever were. Alongside the toast was an Americano - Wonshik's favourite kind of coffee - and a poorly made birthday card.

"Happy birthday~" Taekwoon smiled, kissing Wonshik on the cheek. The card was red, and covered in glittery hearts. Too much glitter, that had managed to cover the tray and almost get on Wonshik's food. He didn't care, though - it was the thought that counted, and he loved his birthday card. "I got you a present," he smiled, picking up a neatly wrapped box from the floor and handing it to Wonshik.

"Aw, baby~ You didn't have to get me anything."

"Open it~"

As Wonshik opened it, his heart raced with excitement. It was wrapped so prettily that it was almost a shame to open it, but he couldn't wait to see what was inside. His jaw dropped as he realised what his present was: it was a small sound mixer for his home studio - something he'd always dreamed of having. Tears welled up in his eyes as he pulled Taekwoon into a hug, grinning ear to ear.

"Thank you so much, Taekwoonie. I love it."

After their embrace ended, and Wonshik ate his breakfast, he opened up his laptop to have a quick video call with his family and finally introduce them to Taekwoon.

"Happy birthday, sweetheart~!" his mother answered the call excitedly. "Honey, Wonshik's on the computer!" she called out for her husband, who was making them tea in the kitchen.

"Be there in a moment!" his father responded, making his mother roll her eyes with a smile. Once she noticed an arm next to Wonshik, she gasped.

"Is that the famous Taekwoon?!" she exclaimed, excited as Wonshik turned the webcam to face Taekwoon. Shy, he bit his lip, waving hesitantly at Wonshik's mother. "Wow! He really is as handsome as you said, sweetheart~" she complimented her son's boyfriend, causing him to blush. "Honey! Hurry up! Taekwoon's there too!"

"Taekwoon's there?! I'll be right there!"

The boys couldn't help but laugh at their enthusiasm.

"Hello, son. Happy birthday," Wonshik's father smiled warmly as he sat down next to his mother, handing her a cup of tea. "Show me the famous Taekwoon."

"Why do they keep saying that?" Taekwoon whispered to Wonshik, a little embarrassed having so much attention on him.

"They're just teasing, baby," Wonshik reassured his shy boyfriend, shooting his parents a warning glare. "They act like I'm obsessed with you or something-"

"Aren't you?" Wonshik's father quipped.

"Dad."

As Taekwoon shuffled closer so that he was in frame of the camera, he bit his lip shyly, resting his head on Wonshik's shoulder for comfort. "H-hello," he mumbled nervously, waving at Wonshik's parents.

"You best be looking after my son-"

"Daaaaaaad~! Stop it," Wonshik whined, rolling his eyes and petting Taekwoon lovingly. "Just ignore him," he smirked, kissing Taekwoon on the forehead. "Hey, mom, is sis there?"

"One moment~"

As Wonshik's mother retrieved his sister, sitting her on her lap, Wonshik's face lit up with a bright smile. Taekwoon found Wonshik's love for his sister adorable.

"Hey~" Wonshik waved at his kid sister. She was adorable, wearing her hair in two little pony tails. "You look pretty~!"

"Mommy, is that Daeguni?" she turned to ask her mother shyly, her little face turning red. Everyone laughed, finding her failed attempt to pronounce 'Taekwoon' precious.

"Yes, sweetheart, that's Taekwoonie," his mother smiled, her daughter's hair lovingly.

"Mommy, he's really pretty~" she whined, hiding her face in her mother's dress out of embarrassment.

"Your dress is very pretty," Taekwoon smiled, finding Wonshik's sister adorable. It felt strange how he felt so comfortable with Wonshik's family so fast. He couldn't wait to meet them in person.

-------------------------------------------------------

Life is incredible. Wonshik was going into his second year of university, with the boyfriend of his dreams by his side and friends that he wouldn't trade for the world. After a long day of classes, Wonshik was excited to be meeting up with Hakyeon and Sanghyuk for a double date.

"Hey, guys," he smiled, greeting his friends. Sanghyuk and Hakyeon seemed pretty happy too, holding hands as they waved at their friend with their spare hands. Wonshik was so happy to finally see Hakyeon genuinely happy.

The friends walked together, heading to the riverbank to meet up with Taekwoon for their double date. The road was empty, and without thinking, Wonshik began to cross it, unable to hold back his excitement seeing his angelic boyfriend across the road. All he wanted was to run over and give him a hug.

"Wonshik!"

As Wonshik turned to see why Hakyeon was screaming his name, he noticed it. A car, speeding towards him with no intention of swerving or slowing down. Paralyzed by fear, he stared at the car with wide eyes, unable to move. Not wanting the last thing he saw to be that car, he turned to look at Taekwoon, taking in all the details he could. With a sad smile, he began to cry.

All he could do as he heard his friends screaming and crying was admire how beautiful Taekwoon was. He'd always thought of him as angel, and in this moment, he looked more beautiful than ever before. As the tears streamed down his face, Wonshik closed his eyes, accepting his fate.

Suddenly, he felt a jolt of pain. Gravel, and an uncomfortable sharpness, but he could still feel. He was alive.

"WOONIE!"

As Wonshik slowly opened his eyes, he realised why he wasn't dead. He'd been pushed out of the way.

In the middle of the road lay Taekwoon, bleeding out.
