Eunjin sat awkwardly in her seat. The girls were all talking to each other, yet she sat stiffly by the door whilst they waited to get to the restaurant. She wasn't sure what exactly to do or say because as soon as they left the area, she was being directed to the van and Jessica sat beside Tiffany and Hyoyeon somewhere in the back, leaving her to sit beside Sunny.

She had no problems with the other girls, but she couldn't help but think about Jessica's confession earlier and how she wasn't able to answer her.

​​Of course, she would have loved to be with Jessica. It had always been a dream. But up until this point, that was all she thought it could be.

A dream.

Yet, here she was, sitting a few feet away from the girl she's admired for years, being in the same van as her idols and even joining them for dinner.

But for some reason, there was a distance between her and Jessica. Before the show, they had no problem being next to each other, but now Jessica found it difficult to even meet her eyes. This left the youtuber feeling a bit down, but she did her best to try and act as though she was fine when clearly she wanted to talk to the other.

"For someone who's with her idols, you sure seem a lot more calm." Eunjin is snapped back to reality when the bunny speaks to her. She had been so lost in thought that she flinched when the shorter woman spoke. "Huh?"

Sunny playfully rolled her eyes and offered a friendly smile. "Fans usually freak out when they see us." She explained. "Aren't you a little nervous?" She asked and Eunjin found herself shaking her head. "Well, not really. I have met you all once and I've been seeing Jessica a lot lately." She said with a small smile, a detail Sunny did not miss.

"Also, I'd like to believe that you girls are all just regular people, like me." She murmured with a smile. "You're doing your job and you get recognized for it, yeah, but does that really make you any different from anyone else?" Sunny listened quietly, smiling and nodding as she patted Eunjin's arm. "I like you." She said with a grin and the brunette returned it, a bit more bashful when she rubbed the back of her neck.

From the front, Taeyeon was able to hear their conversation and she smiled in approval, a proud look on her face. But unlike her, Jessica stared at the back of Eunjin's head, watching as she interacted with Sunny and she couldn't help but narrow her eyes when she saw her band mate lay her hand on the brunette's arm.

The familiar green monster was rising from inside her and she was mentally restraining herself from doing anything brash. Also, Sunny already had Sooyoung and she knows that she likes Eunjin. There was no way that her friend would try anything on her crush. Hell, they all knew what Jessica was doing before Eunjin got to the venue.

"You know, you could be the one talking to her instead of Sunny if you weren't such an idiot." The dancer suddenly said, earning a glare for herself. But unlike the other times, she was calm about it because she knows she's right. "Hyo's got a point, Jessi. I know that we couldn't stop manager oppa from disturbing you, but you didn't have to make things weird." Her best friend chided, making the ice princess grunt.

​​​​​​"I'm not making it weird." She huffed while crossing her arms. "Yes, you are. Instead of sitting with her, you ignored her and sat as far away as possible. Now you're just glaring at Sunny because she's talking to the girl who you wanted to be your girlfriend." Tiffang nagged her and the latter let out a groan because of it. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she was right. But in her defense, she was scared that Eunjin would not accept her feelings, especially after Hyuna told her earlier.

The youtuber wasn't sure, and as sweet as it was, Jessica didn't want her to force herself into something she wasn't sure of.

"Better act fast before someone else tries and snatch her away." Hyoyeon began to tease. "From what I saw online, there's quite a list of suitors who are dying to ask her out." She added and the ice princess gave her a death stare that the dancer knew she was pushing too much, but she didn't want to look like she was fazed at all.

Tiffany shook her head. "Jessi, Hyo is right and you know that's rare." The dancer smacked her arm. "Yah!"

The eye smiling princess gave her a peace sign before she continued. "But you have to be more rational here. If you don't act now, you're just gonna regret not doing so." Jessica sighed heavily as she sank into her seat. She ended up pouting and sulking as her best friend and the dancing amchine continued to for her awkwardness, plus the fact that Sunny had all of Eunjin's attention where Seohyun would even jump in halfway through the ride.

She felt jealousy running through her veins because it should be her that Eunjin was talking to. It should be her sitting next to the brunette.

"So, I know that it's not my place to ask, but why didn't you tell Sica before we got there?" Seohyun lightly smacked the older girl's arm. "Unnie!" She was about to scold her, but Eunjin intervened, smiling slightly as though to say that it was fine before she rubbed the back of her neck. "Honestly, I was surprised. I... didn't think she would have actually liked me back or at least, you know, liked girls? Up to this point, I see her in relationships with guys, and even though some are rumours I don't believe in, I couldn't help think that her being interested would be a possibility." She muttered quietly, making the bunny's eyes soften when she understood the latter's reason.

She put her hand on Eunjin's knee, lightly patting it as she smiled brightly and shook her head. "Let me be the one to tell you that you have absolutely nothing to worry about." Seohyun nodded her head in agreement. "If you want to think more about it, just observe us and the rest of the girls through dinner."

Eunjin wouldn't have fully understood what the maknae meant by observing them if she weren't a fan nor did she know the world that is Girls' Generation, but she was quick in picking up with the way each girl took their places once they reached the table. Jessica sat in front of her though, next to Yoona, while she was sitting next to Taeyeon after the leader noticed how Jessica was still avoiding her.

"So, you're a sone, right?" Taeyeon's sudden question made the brunette's head snap to her direction, and before she could answer, Jessica already beat her to it. "You already know that she is." She rolled her eyes but Taeyeon paid her no mind as she grinned. "I'm really curious. How do you think the concert went? Did we do good or is there anything we need to work on?"

Tiffany shook her head at her girlfriend. "TaeTae, we're here to eat and have fun, not talk about work." She pouted, making the shorter woman smile apologetically. "Mianhe Ppany-ah, I'm just kinda curious." She explained before her girlfriend is looking at the brunette this time. "We don't usually hang around fans around, and since Eunjin is close to Sica, I thought it'd be a good chance to get detailed feedback."

Eunjin blinked rapidly at them and Jessica had to fight the urge to roll her eyes. "I'm not saying the feedback we get isn't useful, but it would be nice coming from someone who's really sincere about things." There's a knowing glint in the leader's eyes that the brunette picks up on and Jessica furrows her brows as she observed her, though before thet could proceed with the conversation, a server walked up to the table, flashing a charming smile to the group as he bowed.

"Hello, are we all ready to order?" He asked politely and the girls nodded, each giving their own choice of food and drink until the man's attention turned to Eunjin, his smile widening just a bit, something everyone at the table noticed and the ice princess felt her eye twitch as she clenched her fists under the table. "And for you?"

The youtuber smiles politely before she tells him her order. "And I'll have a glass of water, thank you." He jots it down and returns his focus on her. "Will that be all?
