The murky clouds embraced the sky as only the cropped moon managed to stand out in the ocean of darkness. The unstoppable cheers, whistles and shouts of joy resounded in the air, scratching my ears as everyone was excited to see the duel between the alpha wolves of their pack.

Hanbin and Jiyong were glaring at each other with deep distrust, muttering something no one could hear as the noise absorbed their words before they could even come out properly. Their muscles tensed with each breath, making their bodies resemble two rigid statues sculpted by the best artist. Their dark eyes flickered dangerously towards me. Jiyong's gaze felt like an act of violence, that kind of glare that could stop anyone's heart. His hard-rimmed eyes rusted at me for a few seconds, bringing cold drops of sweat on my forehead and fear through my whole body.

He then laughed heartlessly, looking down at his little brother who couldn't help but clench his fists in annoyance. Jiyong was treating him like a little kid and he wasn't one anymore. Instead of lowering his head in front of his brother, Hanbin lifted it, holding a stony glare carved into his sinful eyes. He tightened his jaw before he opened his mouth and said something. My heart skipped a beat when he raised his finger in the air and pointed at me.

"What was happening?"

Their conversation could have been related to 'the wrong family I was born into' or to my brother who seemed to be just another rival on Hanbin's long list. The tension between him and Seunghoon was nothing compared to the one between him and his own brother. Their strong selfish personalities craved to dominate everyone and unfortunately for them, there could be only a Devil in the hell... Meaning the other one had to kneel down and recognize him as the leader.

It wasn't a friendly competition who would bring the best in them but a vainglory one. If they could just understand that they needed each other instead of fighting one with another, they would be able to go so far.

''Blink.'' I startled at the sudden voice close to my ear.

His breath brushed the side of my neck, shamelessly invading my personal space and scaring me to death. I turned around frightened just to face Bobby and his annoying bright smile. His white teeth gleamed in the darkness meanwhile the front ones destroyed the overall look of his perfect alignment.  His long fingers tried to touch and grip my shoulder in a playful way but I quickly slapped his hand.

''Don't sneak behind me like that.'' I groaned, placing one hand on the right side of my chest and massaging the spot slowly. My weak heart was challenged to some serious tests these days as everyone desired to play a different kind of games with it.

''How could you get scared by this handsome face?'' Bobby squinted his small brown eyes in disbelief that someone could be just as faint-hearted as I was. His slender fingers traveled down the rosy color of his cheeks and stopped at the edge of his well-defined jaw. He had that kind of jaw shape that would make you stop and stare for a while.

His confused and at the same time innocent tone couldn't help but make me go into peals of laughter. It was unbelievable how different could he be from the Bobby that everyone feared in the school. The notorious troublemaker who loved to disregard the rules and social order was now standing in front of me, trying to make me stop laughing.

''Staring at Hanbin for so long probably affected your eyes sight.'' He mocked me, shutting me up instantly with one single word... 'Hanbin'.

Despite the cold wind that almost rocked me back on my heels and cut my skin through the thin backless dress, my body's temperature started to grow and my cheeks burnt hot.

''When did I?'' I mumbled embarrassed in front of the guy who has been lying in ambush for my mistakes.

People usually laugh by releasing a sound of noise on their mouth but when Bobby laughed it was nothing like that... His laugh was into his eyes, just like a native signature. He wanted to be different, to add something new to the boring reality; perhaps that's why he was even wearing his jeans inside out without being afraid that som
