On Time

You Are My Wings

"Don't fall asleep---" Hyung Jun spoke loudly, purposely to make the guy who was lying on his laps stayed awake. He was crying by then and his hands were shaking nonstop while he rubbed them against the guy's own. He continuously exhaled warm breaths into the two cold hands, tried to make it somehow turned back to its original temperature. The prince's heart twisted strongly, it felt like someone stabbed him with knife that was impregnated with poison. No pain could be greater than this. The pain that you have to suffer after slaughtered your own blood-brother.

Jung Min moved his body a bit, and then grunt as the pain spread out even wider. There was a rough cut, stretched visibly from the poor guy's right shoulder then down passed his chest. Even when Hyung Jun hopelessly tried to stop the stream of blood running down, wetted the grassy ground; Jung Min couldn't help but felt his own life were dangling on one thin string. "I came on time right?" asked Jung Min.

"Mwo?" Wiped his tears, Hyung Jun replied while crying his eyes out. He tried to smile, but he couldn't stop the river of salt water that kept on bothering his vision.

"I came on time--- to save someone this time---"

"Myth--- What are you saying--- I don't get it---"

Let out one more groan, Jung Min went on, "Babo-ya--- You really remember nothing from that time huh? Our parents--- the day they were killed--- I was away--- I--- I couldn't get back in time--- That was why---"

"Myth--- Myth--- It's okay--- It wasn't your fault--- It wasn't your fault---" Hyung Jun brushed his thump against his brother's now dried lips; shook his head slightly and gestured the guy to keep his breath. He didn't want to hear the rest of the story. It would only bring his brother more pain if the guy recalls anymore hurtful memories. The past is the past. No matter how much you hate or how much you suffer, you can't bring the dead back to life. At least after all those years slept inside his own body, Hyung Jun had learned how to forgive something that should be forgiven; and of course when the fault wasn't even Jung Min's.

"Say---" Hyung Jun flinched as Jung Min insisted on talking again, stubbornly went against what his brother told him, "You--- that night--- you didn't came to just take back the ring right? There was something else right?"

"What now? Myth--- If you keep on talking--- How the hell would you are able to rest and survive huh?"

"Nah-ah--- I don't care---"

"You have to---" The prince cried out, "What are you talking about? I don't like it at all--- Stop joking you babo---"

"Haha--- You're such a cry-baby--- How the hell did you get to become a crown-prince huh? People will die one day--- and angel isn't exceptional--- What are you expecting? You think I would stay alive with you forever--- Grow up already--- Jincha--- Now now--- Don't cry neh?"

"Myth---" There was a girl's voice, it was Green. She was standing behind the two brothers all the time, with Orange stood beside her. The young girl couldn't help but wrapped her hand around , and buried her face into Orange's chest. Seeing this excruciating scene, no one could hide their tears away; especially for a girl. There was a flood of repentance rampaged her conscience as she remember how she met Myth on her way of the "run-away mission" Hyung Jun gave her. She should have lie, Green thought. "Ottoke?" said the girl, in a low voice only enough for the stunned Orange beside her to hear.

Hyung Jun hugged his brother tightly as the guy chuckled at how he reacted. He heard Jung Min harped on about how childish he was, but the prince didn't care. How many years had passed since the last time he could hold his brother like this? The guy had no idea. The only thing he knew for sure was what Jung Min said about him went to the palace the night Young Saeng got kidnapped was right. He somehow managed to take over his body in the middle of that night, and then flew to the palace to inform Jung Min about Victoria's plan; but he failed half-way. He still remembered how scared he was that night, he kept screaming and telling Min to get away; but the voice just won't come out. Now, holding his brother, who was even wounded worser than before, Hyung Jun couldn't give him any excuse to forgive himself. He just prayed, prayed, and prayed for Jung Min's safety; though what he wanted obviously wouldn't come. He felt Jung Min's hand landed on his cheeks, the prince opened his eyes and stared down at the charisma man. There he was, still as beautiful as ever even his body was soaked in blood. He smiled at Hyung Jun, gently but it just made the younger one more lamented.

"Mianhae---" Spoke in a weak voice, Jung Min, " Mianhae my chin dongsaeng--- For not being a good hyung--- Mianhae Jade--- I couldn't keep my promise--- Ah yeah--- The young prince--- I think he'll end up crying again--- That soft-hearted guy--- I guess I won't be able to be mad at him anymore--- What a shame--- I should've be more gentle with him when I could--- I've--- I've always love you--- Soul--- urgh---"

The voice of Min died out in the middle of his speech. His eyes widened as his lungs ran out of air. Heaved his chest up with all his might, the guy breathed rapidly; tried to get as much as air as his could. There were voices of people who presented there and cries started to be heard clearer. Winds suddenly stopped, left the place even more silent. Jung Min felt hands held him tighter, and he was happy for a prime moment in those hands' warmness. There used to be sounds those would easily be listened by his sharp ears; but where were they now? Annoyed by how useless his ears were, Jung Min then stretched out his eyes and looked at Hyung Jun. After got what he wanted, Jung Min just smiled. His body went numb then, and he couldn't feel anymore those tactile sensations. "Ah--- I'm running out of time---" thought the charisma man, "It's not so bad--- Dying in my own brother's hands--- Not so bad--- Eh? Violet? Indigo?--- Haha--- You guys came to pick me up--- I won't be lost you know---"

Hyun Joong stunned at where he was. He heard someone was crying. No, in fact, there was more than one. It couldn't be right? He asked himself while his body was urging him to turn around and look down; where he left his lover and best friend to fly up here. Swallowed his saliva, the guy almost do what he was told; but a small wind stopped him. It was warm for a wind to be, and it just brought Hyun Joong nothing other than tears. Without any attack, his eyes were just bleeding unconditionally. The blood wasn't red, it was salty. Where it came from didn't have any cut, but why did it hurt so much. The wind surrounded him, ran through his soft blonde hair and down to his whole well-built body. Was it just a strange wind or there was something else? Sniffed, tried to hold his feeling inside, the king strengthened his force around the sword he was holding. He whispered quietly, like a small farewell for the oddly warm wind. The man caught a sight of someone sitting up, who was knocked down on the floor by him just now; someone who deserved that blow just right.

The woman leant her whole skeleton-like body against her left arm, she was laughing. It started with just a quietly chuckled but then got more excessive as she seemed to can't hold it in anymore. Everyone just stared at her, with their expressions stiffed, more likely to be angry at her reaction. What was so funny exactly?
