Being Parents
STEPHANIEChapter 6. Being Parents.
Eight hours.
Freaking eight hours spent working with fabrics, buttons, ribbons, beads, zippers, buckles and some thirty millions other things needed to build a dope spring/summer collections. I was more than done.
“Where are you going?” Daesung looked up from his computer.
“Home.” I stood up to flex my numb muscles.
“We're not done yet.”
“Well. The pile on the left has all the designs that I approve. The rest belongs to the dumpster. You got the one on the left all finalized and ready for presentation on Monday. Any question?”
“Me? Why me?”
“Are you not my subordinate?”
“I am also your best friend. Your drink buddy. Your sidekick that happens to need his dose of Saturday too.”
“You have no wife and kid waiting at home, Daesung. Bye.” I waved at my long time friend, ignoring his protest.
After one week of grueling work I was more than ready for my dose of Saturday, and of course, my dose of Taeyeon too.

“Hi, baby. Miss me?” I nibbled at her earlobe, hands snaking around her slim waist. She was in nothing but an oversize shirt. Her hair pinned up into a messy bun, exposing the lean column of her neck.
“A lot.” Taeyeon spun around and kissed my cheek. “I almost sent a search party out there.”
“Sorry. You know how it is when we're about to launch a new collection.” I hugged her a little tighter, bringing her body onto the bed with me.
My lips went to capture her lips. My hands worked the shirt off her torso but her hands stopped me.
“Not now, Ji.”
“Hmmmm.” Her light purple bra was an obstacle to my wandering fingers. I needed to get it off her ASAP.
“Ji. Stop.” She rolled away from me.
“What?”
“The kids are not sleeping yet.”
“The kids?”
“Bora's here for a sleepover.”
“Again? Wasn't she also here last weekend?”
“And the weekend before.” My wife sat up on the bed and started to slip under the bed cover, taking her hair pin off. “I'm sorry.”
“But you also said no to me three days ago.” My protest sounded more like a desperate whimper now.
“Stephanie was staying up late to finish her Chemistry project that night.”
“And two nights before that?”
“She had a coughing fit.”
A groan of despair came out of my mouth while Taeyeon just sighed.
“But I miss my y time with my Tae baby.” I also slithered under the bed cover. Hands came to hug her while lips at the pulse point on her neck. “Let's do it silently.”
“You know me.” Shades of pink spreading across her porcelain cheeks. “I'm loud.”
“Aaaargh. I'm so soundproofing this room tomorrow.” I fell back onto the pillows, huffing. “I had no idea that having kid at home means less . We can't even do our usual Sunday morning kitchen quickie anymore.”
“I miss our kitchen quickie too.” Taeyeon pouted at me, thumb rubbed at my lips. “I miss you.”
An idea suddenly popped into my mind. I hovered above her, hands on both sides of her head. My lips tugged into a grin.
“What?”
“ me.”
“I-”
My lips stopped words from coming out of . Our tongue danced the sensual dance that ignited fire inside of me. “Please, baby. I need this.”
“Allright.” She sighed. “Be quiet.”
“I am always quiet.” I leaned back onto the pillows, pushing her head down where it mattered.
She went under the cover, diving down, unbuckled my pants then pulled it to my ankle along with my boxers.
