can't believe it took me 3 years to finally finish this, it should’ve actually been completed within one year but uhh writer's block and school and yep

I’m amazed people were even reading this considering the huge amount of time I took in between updating chapters

so, I want to first thank all the readers who have been here until now for being so patient with me (honestly, seeing your comments make me happy and motivated me to keep continuing this)

this has been a writing experience for me tbh, I started writing this when I just barely got into kpop (note to self: never impulse publish a story again) I went back to this story and oh god the c r i n g e. how did you guys even handle it I’m so sorry my writing was horrible back then

I think you can see as the story went on, my writing style(?) seemed to change through the chapters. or if it didn’t change, at least it improved (I hope it did)

I was thinking of changing and rewriting the whole thing but then I decided against it. I can always look back and see my first completed fanfic, (and cringe at my writing lol) and see how and whether my writing has changed. I mean practice makes perfect and this is only my first one, so I guess I’m proud to say I finally finished writing a chaptered fic (even if it did take me 3 years)

ANYWAY

I know there are probably a lot of questions you want to ask and weren’t answered within the story, so if you do have any, please feel free to ask in the comments below ^^

I don’t know when I will be releasing the sequel u.u

just know that there will be one, and it will be in Yunho’s POV :)

(let’s just hope I don’t take another 3 years to finish the sequel as well)

so Unspoken Thoughts was completely in Jaejoong’s POV, all the chapters

which means the endgame in this story was homin…. or was it?

either way it didn’t end with yunjae, sorry yunjae shippers (I made myself sad with the ending lmao)

like the title says, almost all the chapters are basically Jaejoong’s thoughts inside his head (or heart, whichever) and were never said out loud. the italic parts represent his thoughts, and the normal ones were the situations happening

also the voicemail thing was actually decided from the beginning

meaning it was bound to be a sad ending right from the start. sorry

inspiration was from their song Doue :) (in chapter 40)

[chapter 40 was actually sort of an epilogue, so chapter 39 was the end I guess?]

btw there will be one more update after this, in which I’ll be doing a kind of review over the whole story and commenting on each chapter. I'll also be answering if you have any questions, but no spoilers~
