Looking outside the window to see if snow is falling

That’s the alarm for a heart-fluttering winter

Carols are ringing all over the streets

Wrapping around me like sad memories

I’m walking around like a monotone,

I know today is Christmas and outside is definitely snowing.

Yesterday, Christmas eve, I had finished with Bur Bur’s burial and it was already snowing. I heard people in joyous mood singing carols and this reminded me of you, Bur Bur. The one and only one that makes me happy is now gone and gone forever. The happy moments that we shared were now sad memories engulfing me.

I am walking around like a zombie not knowing what to do for this Christmas.

The sun rays are blazing into my room and I know cos the room is getting warmer.

They are telling me that Christmas is here and my heart is throbbing with pain of losing you.

If I have one wish, I wished that you will be back to me, with me and cuddling with me in our bed now.

I really prayed that this Christmas will be so special that my wish will come true.

It did not come true for my past 35 years and I hope this will be THE ONE.

I dreamt of Bur Bur still sleeping with me in my bed. I did not open my eyes as they are flooded with tears. Yesterday, I was discharged from the hospital as I was just suffering from minor scratches and I had also did Bur Bur’s burial yesterday to give her a proper resting place forever.

I did not want to believe it that Bur Bur was not longer alive. The bed still smells of her though she was not with me for the last few days. I do not know where I should go, the living room reminded me of us cuddling watching TV after I came home from work. She never fails to cheer me up. The kitchen reminded me of us eating our meals together and we both love beef stew. The bathroom reminded me of us having water war and me giving her a bathe and washing her sparklin
