“Im home!” I flung the door opened and expecting Bur Bur to pounce on me to welcome me as usual. But there was no sound, no even a pin dropped.

She must be paying hide and seek with me again.

I looked under the sofa, at the bathroom, in all cupboards and even under my blankets! I saw no traces of her. I began to panic and looked through all the places again and then I dashed out of home to find her.

I shouted loudly like a mad women, “Bur Bur! Where are you? Don’t scare Mommy. Come back to me. Come back to me NOW!”

I don’t care if other people will think that Im mad as I’m really now.

I ran as fast as my legs could to a nearby park and dashed through all the broad ways

to all the small inside lanes

and still cannot find her and then I had no choice but to stop to gasp for air. I leant on the tree as Im having a hard time breathing. While doing so, I then had a revelation, that Bur Bur was hurt and had left me for good

My tears flowed out on their own without informing me and I fell on the floor hugging my legs and cried out loud, “Bur Bur, you are upset with me for yesterday? Please don’t, I have no choice but I promise you I will not lock you up again. Can you please come back, come home and come back to me? 제발 가지마 (jebal gajima mean Please don’t go)”

 I cried for a good 2 hours before my body ran out of water and no more tears came out.

She might be on the way home.

I ran home like an arrow and to my dismay, I still did not see her.

I called you to tell her that Bur Bur had disappear
