The RoommateThe following morning, Jonghyun awoke early to an empty stomach. Fighting the urge to grab a snack, he knew he wouldn't be able to fall back to sleep, so he grabbed a book and headed to the kitchen.
Not fifteen minutes later, he heard the sound of footsteps coming closer, he looked at the doorway in time to see Seungyeon appear.
"Oh. I didn't think anyone would be up."
Jonghyun shrugged and tore his eyes away from here, focusing again on the book in his hand. "I woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep."
"Me too. Jun Seong-oppa's kind of a crazy sleeper."
If it were any other person, Jonghyun would have laughed in agreement. But this was Seungyeon.
"Seungyeon-shi do you have a memory problem?"
"Um, what?" She raised a brow. "No, I don't think so."
He set his book upside down on the counter and looked at her straight in the eye. "If I recall correctly, I gave you a list of rules for staying in this house."
She stayed silent, shrugging a shoulder to urge him to continue.
"You broke one," he said gesturing with his hands.
"WHAT?" she balked. "MULLON ANIJI. No I did not!"
He scoffed. "Jun Seong's in your room." He pointed to the direction of his guestroom.
The list became clearer in her mind. "If I ecall correctly, that rule stated that I couldn't have drunken one night stands unless approved by you. So one: I wasn't drunk, your cousin was. And two, he's also your bestfriend who is staying here for the weekend. You already approved it. And we're going out again tonight, so it's not a one-night stand."
She looked so proud of herself Jonghyun wanted to scream.
