The Roommate"Nice to see you're putting that watch to good use," Soojung said one late August day, not hiding her sarcasm in the slightest. "We were supposed to meet twenty-three minutes ago. I gave you that watch for a reason, Minhyuk-ah." She handed him the cup she was holding. "Your coffee's getting cold; it's your-"
"My own fault," Minhyuk finished, still catching his breath. "Yeah, I know. Band practice ran late. It's almost our comeback. Sorry, yeobo" he shrugged, cringing at the taste of his cold coffee. He tossed it in the garbage can and Soojung linked arms with him as he leads her down the sidewalk. "And how are you doing today, my cute drummer boy?"
He sighed. "Fine. Ever since my members and I lived seperately, I've actually been able to get things accomplished."
She chuckled as she reached for another sip of her coffee. "Like what?" she asked, before taking a sip.
He playfully glared at her, "Picking up the beat for our songs, going to bed at a normal hour, staying at home at night instead of going out to drink." She pulled him tighter, "I know, I know. But you're just saying that because you know we'll have too much fun."
He eyed her, but still smiled. "Not until we're married you silly, pretty girl!" He let out a breath. "What do you have planned for the rest of the day?"
"Nothing much. I'm meeting Seungyeon-unnie for a drink later, but that's about it."
Minhyuk furrowed his brows. "Seungyeon-unnie?"
She sighed. "Why-- no matter how many times I tell you-- can you never remember my friend Seungyeon. I've talked about her before."
His face remained unchanged.
"A rookie actress from our company. We've known each other since our trainee days. She was also in my drama with Rain-sunbaenim. Now she's doing a saguek drama with Yoo Ah in and Shin Sekyung. Ring any bells?"
Minhyuk's phone rang. "Oh. Yes, I remember." he said half-heartedly, fishing his pocket for his phone. He read the message a
