Chapter 9
A Warm December
“Oh great” I muttered as I tried to figure out where my body parts were. At least I’m not dead. When I situated myself in a semi-comfortable position, I tried to sit, but my legs were stuck in the snow, like buried. “Oh .” I rolled my eyes and moaned just ing great. I couldn’t move – like at all.
“Where the hell is my phone?” I asked my self starting to pat over my jacket to find it, when I didn’t feel it, I looked around me until I saw it glowing in the snow, about arms length away.
My head started to ache and everthing started to blurr, the cold must be getting to me. The light on my phone shined brighter, I looked and saw mimho was calling. I reached for it, but I couldn’t actually pick it up. Frustrated I put it on speaker.
“Kibum?! Kibum! Where are you!?” he screamed when I picked up.
“Minho!” I yelled, I was suddenly tired. “I fell off a cliff! I need help!”
“You what?! Did you just say you just say you fell on a fish? Where the are you? In a lake?”
“NO! FELL OFF A CLIFF” I yelled louder, my throat burned.
“Kibum, say you’re joking.”
“Minho, seriously!” I whined. My eyes drooped.
“Okay- are- ca- see- bu-”
“What? Say that again.”
“Kib- can- hear- me?”
“Minho I can’t – I can’t hear you!” no one responded.
“Minho!?” my phone flickered off and I was left in relative darkness. I shivered, my feet were wet and cold and my head was spinning. No, this can’t be the end. Not yet. I haven’t said goodbye to my mom, or any of my family, or Minho, or Taemin, or Jinki… or Jonghyun. I started to cry.
Before I new it I was choking on hard sobs. Eventually I was too tired to even breath. My eyes shut and I was enclosed by a comforting blackness.
