On one summer in a certain year...

     I looks at my reflection in the mirror. Aishh... here comes the pimples.. This has been my life since.. well, I don't know. Maybe since birth? Anyway, I bet my schoolmates would left me all alone again.. Except for my unnies. I always get a rash, followed by bunch of pimples in my face everytime summer comes. This is the reason why my last boyfriend left me. Since then, I believed that no guy would ever love me for who I am.

But then I know, I was wrong.

On one summer, the following year...

     I was walking home after school, when I saw a bunch of teenage girls, which I think the same age as me, talking and gushing about something. I stopped my tracks for a while to see what they were gushing about. Oh. It's the summer festival again. Every year, my school would hold a summer festival at the end of summer. I didn't know what kind of event are they always held, because I've never gone to the festival. Anyway, from what I knew,there's a matchmaking contest, which I think is the main reason on why those girls were so excited. Oh well, I'm not that desperate to have a boyfriend. Besides, it's my last year in high school,I should worry about studying.

Suddenly, my phone rings. I press the 'Answer' button without even looking at the caller's name. "Minji-yah! Let's go out tomorrow, neh? I'm so bored these days.." Bommie unnie's voice reach my ear. I think for a while. "Okay, unnie! Besides, summer holiday has started as well!" I answered. "Yay!! Finally! Someone who have time for me! Okay, Minji-yah, I have to go. I'll fetch you at 9!" Bommie unnie finally says. Then, she hung up. I looks up to the sky, and smiled. At least, I have my unnies who accept me even though I had these weird sickness. Not like my superficial schoolmates.

   After getting ready, I wears my shoes and walking towards the front door, when umma shouts at me, "Minji-yah! Don't forget to eat your medicine, okay? And gets home before 7!" I smiled. Aigoo... umma always have to remind me that.. "Okay, umma!" I shouts back, turns the door knob, and walks out. Then, I sees Bommie unnie's car in front of the gate.

"Where are we going, unnie?" I asked as soon as I gets in the car. As soon as I sits, Dara-unnie hugs me so tight that I can't even breath. "Minji-yah!!! I missed you!" She says. I laughs. It's true though. I was so busy with school, that I didn't even have time to go out with them. "Where are we going, unnie?" I finally asks Bommie-unnie, after all those hugging. "Just see." She answers, while driving.

   Finally, we have arrived at an ice cream shop. "Waa!!! Baskin Robbins!!" I screams heartily. The unnies just smiles, looking at my excitedness. After getting in and ordered some ice cream, we sits at a table for 4 person. "Minji-yah, have you get ready for the dance competition?" Chaerin unnie suddenly asks, while eating a cup of chocolate mint ice cream.

Every year, I would always joined the dance competition, which is a part of those end of summer festival, but the one that I joined is the one that being held at my unnies college. I shook my head. "Not yet, unnie. I haven't planned anything yet." I answers. "Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. This year's theme is street dance. So, get ready, okay? I wish you good luck!" Chaerin-unnie says.

I frowns when I heard this year's theme. Street dance? Now that's my weakness. I can do any dance, except for that one. What should I do? I don't think I can join this year's competition. "Wait, isn't street dance is your weakness? Hmm.. I know! I'll ask my friend to give free lessons to you! He's a great dancer." Dara-unnie suddenly says. When I heard that, my head shots up to look at Dara-unnie. "Really?!! Oh my god, I love you unnie!!" I says, while giving her a hug.
