6 Months Later

“Move!”

I bulldozed past my classmates, trying desperately to locate my name on the list of exam results. I let out an excited scream when I saw that I placed first. My eyes moved down and my happiness deflated when I realized that Baekhyun was first too. We had both gotten the exact same score.

I whirled around to see him right behind me, smiling snugly.

“I’m sorry to rob you of your exclusive glory, baby.”

I wrinkled my nose in annoyance.

“Don’t baby me, frogface. Next year, you’re going down!”

He merely laughed, and grabbed my hand.

“Let’s get out of here, Myunghee..”

He led me out of the school and to my car. He got into the driver’s seat and took a deep breath.

“You sure you’re ready?”

Baekhyun swallowed.

“Y-yeah.”

He gripped the steering wheel and backed out of the parking lot. He drove a little shakily at first, but before long we were speeding down the street.

I let out a yelp of joy. Baekhyun himself was laughing nervously.

“Yes!” I exclaimed, “Baek, I am so proud of you! So ing proud!”

He didn’t respond immediately. He smiled to himself and turned to glance at me briefly.

“Thank you, Myunghee,” he said, “thank you.”

I smiled.

“You’re welcome.”

A/N: 2nd last chapter before the end!! I almost didnt finish this lol but i reread it today and did some tweaking and i got inspired to wrap it up bc it was sooo close to finishing :) tysm for reading this far i love you
