Foreword
Lee Somi is an orphan. When she was young, she was sent from Seoul to Jeonju, a town in the countryside. She can’t even recall the faces of her parents.
Alongside her older brother Sungyeol, she moved in with her single grandmother.
Her grandmother passed when she was 10 years old. Ever since then she has been living with her brother.
But she has a secret.
A secret that only she and her brother know about.
A secret known as Kim Sunggyu.
Where he was, she didn't know.
When he was coming back, she didn't know either.
But she knew he was out there.
And she was going to find him.

Lee Somi: Best friends with Lee Howon. Attends Jeonju High School. Sister of Lee Sungyeol. Does well in school, not very popular but not unpopular either, and has a close friend she can rely on.
Kim Sunggyu: Lee Somi's first love. Disappeared when he started high school.
Lee Sungyeol: In his first year of university. He behaves like an elementary schooler, and his own little sister calls him a choding. Dislikes Kim Sunggyu and couldn't care less for him. Teases his sister when they're alone, but when other people are around, he's very protective. He's obsessed with his cat, Jureumie.
Lee Howon: Best friends with Somi, part of the school soccer team. Hangs out with Lee Junho and Hwang Chansung. Enjoys taking part in athletics. Doesn't study well, but is smart anyways.
Lee Sungjong: Younger brother of Lee Howon.
Kim Jinhee: Isn't that close with Somi but in the same school year, different classroom. Harbors some sort of liking for Sungyeol. Very smart. She’s not shy, but anti-social.
Nam Woohyun: A friendly, somewhat flirty(?) and nice guy. Woohyun was second-closest to Sunggyu before Sunggyu disappeared. Class President of 2-2.
Kim Myungsoo (L): Best friends with Sungyeol. Can be found at Sungyeol and Somi's house more often than his own. Bad relationship with his family. Hates being called by his given name. Prefers to be known as L. He’s smart, quiet, and handsome, but as Somi gets to know him, he becomes a dependable oppa.
Jang Dongwoo: Class President of 2-1. Friendly towards everyone, and isn’t a great speaker but is very smart. He always looks out for Howon.
Lee Junho & Hwang Chansung: Two athletic boys. Friends with Howon and are in Class 2-2, with Jinhee and Woohyun.
