“Yah, Lee Min Ho, why are you still smiling despite our problem with the contractors?! Your birthday tomorrow is not an excuse, unless we finish this problem today, you are not allowed to celebrate your birthday!’ exclaimed WooJin while he threw a pen on Minho who was smiling staring at his phone.

Minho stood up and handed Woojin a folder and usb, “Take a look at that report, and the details on the site, I have further looked into it, I have also sent it to Sutherland's this morning, and I am waiting for their comment, since their precious team leader is in New York, their reply will be late”

“Oh! You have solution already? Why didn’t I knew about this? When was…”

“Yesterday when you were in Jeju, I contacted Mr. Kang, and we had meeting, and ended up with conversations over the supplies’ prices, so the contractors amended, you are over reacting and did not let me explain to you about this” Minho cut him off

“Very efficient Engr. Lee, very efficient” Woojin smiled

“So where are we going to celebrate your birthday? Halmoni’s cooking Miyuk Gook? and we’ll grill beef right? I'll bring lopts of Cinnamon flavoured bread if you like” Woojin excitedly asked Minho

“Nope! I already told halmoni I will spend my birthday different this year” Minho grinned at Woojin while fliiping his eyelashes

“Yah stop that Minho, different? How different? Don’t tell me you’ll spend time with Kim Ji Won? Just the two of you together?!” teased Woojin

“Bad Joke!” Minho scoffed

“So how? Other woman? The most eligible bachelor? Alone on his birthday?! You know I can’t accompany you, because we can’t be gone on the same date!” Woojin further teased

“I know, I can manage, I’ll go back to my most favourite thing to do!” Minho grinned again making WooJin puzzled

“Whatever Minho, besides girls, sketch pad and video games, what else is it that you want? Eat the whole day?”

“hahaha, chingu, video games it is! and a little of kiddie rides at Lotte World” Minho’s smile widened

“Eo? Play games the whole day? Halmoni’s going to scold you again!”

“I’ll spend it with Andrei, remember the cinnamon monster I told you, his mom allowed him so I am excited, I don’t know why but I just decided to spend playing games with him and we’ll go to Lotte World too, he’s quite not familiar with Korea because they just arrived from US” Minho explained

“You are so fond with that kid, you have to make your own soon, and you’re not getting any younger!” Woojin teased

“Yah, look who’s young! Andrei is such a cutie, everything in him make me happy, I don’t know why” Minho smiled and looked at his phone

“The last time I saw those smiles on you was 11? 12 years ago? What does this kid have done to you? NO matter what, just enjoy your birthday chingu-ya” Woojin patted Minho’s arms

“I’ll definitely will have fun WooJIn-ah” Minho smiled at WooJIn

“And before I forget, don’t turn off your phone tomorrow, answer atleast my calls, you know Shinhye-ssi is back from NY today, for sure tomorrow’s meeting will have lots of questions from her, ofcourse I’ll study this report but if anything I can’t answer, I ‘ll call you!” Woojin told Minho

Minho’s mood suddenly changed hearing Shinhye’s name, he just nodded at Woojin before he stood up and left the office.

“Yah, Lee Min Ho we are not done yet!” Wo Jin shouted

Minho peeked at the open door, “Just call me, my birthday leave officially starts now! Andrei just texted me where to pick him up, I’ll meet his mom tomorrow too, so I better prepare now” Minho closed the door after.

“Andrei, always telling stories about that kid. he’s so fond of Andrei. I wonder Where did I hear that name, been hearing a lot of Andrei names lately” WooJin told himself.

“You think Uncle Milo will like my present to him?” Andrei asked his mother

“You have been asking that the moment we bought that in New York, I don’t know what he likes but as what your Uncle RaeWon said he will sure like it.” Shinhye replied while combing her son’s hair

“I am excited mom, you two will finally meet!” Andrei ginned at his mom

“Andrei, don’t play cupid here, although you like that Uncle Milo of yours,and he is kind to you, I still don’t know him, keep your phone with you all the time, ok? Krystal and Haneul are with you the whole day, I told them never leave you alone with that man and…”

“Mom, you’re exaggerating! Uncle Milo is nice, I like him and he is handsome too, you two will be a great pair… oopppss” Andrei teased his mom and put his hand on his mouth

“Andrei Park! I am now thinking if Iwill still allow you to spend the day with that man now!” Shinhye teased Andrei

“Mooooommm, you already said yes, and Uncle Milo will be disappointed, it’s his birthday today and...”

Andrei’s word was cut when Shinhye hugged Andrei and kissed him on the forehead

“I was just teasing you, just be careful today ok, enjoy and have fun, call me anytime, although today is a long day at work, when it comes to you I have time, you know that” Andre nodded at his mom

“Love you son” “Love you too mom”

“Ms. Shinhye, Woo Bin and Mr. Yoon is here” interrupted Krystal

“Eon, this early? It’s just 7am, I wonder why, sweetheart, get your back pack, I already prepared you stuff last night, I’ll just talk to Mr. Yoon and Woo Bin first” Shinhye touched Andrei’s face, he nodded and headed to their room

“Shinhye-ssi, forgive us to barge in this early, but Mr. Ji informed he will be in the  office by 8am, so we dropped by to fetch you, sorry for short notice, Mr. Ji has an urgent trip to Europe and ned to be in the airport by 10am, so he moved the meeting on an earlier time.” Mr. Yoon explained

“Does Stanley, Grace, Louis and Sean knows already?” Shinhye added

“I will be going to their villa as well, Woo Bin is here to accompany you, and so if you’ll excuse me, I will see you at the office Ms. Park” Mr. Yoon said before he bowed and take his leave

“Woo Bin-ah you read what I sent you last night? I believe WooJIn is the only one who will attend the meeting from HLI?” Shinhye asked Woo Bin

“Deh, Ms. Shinhye, Mr. Han will be at the meeting, Mr. Lee is on leave, I heard it’s his birthday. Mr Ji actually sent a present at their office. I already prepared everything you told me”

“Mr. Lee’s birthday, ofcourse it’s the 22nd today” Shinhye told herself but it was heard by Woo Bin.

“Mom. I’m ready, Unlce Milo texted he’s heading to Myeongdong already and excited for our breakfast!”

“Sweetheart, I will just drop you there and we’ll head to office now, our meeting was moved earlier, I’m sorry”

“But Mom, you promised!” An obvious disappointment was seen on Andrei’s gestures

Shinhye kneeled and fixed Andre’s polo shirt, “ok, I am the one who’ll pick you up tonight, so we’ll have dinner instead of breakfast, is that ok now? If I finish early, I’ll get to spend a little more time with you and that Uncle of yours, better idea right?” Shinhye convince Andrei, he curled up into a soft smile and nodded

“Promise? Just contact Krystal noona ok?” Andrei told his mom

“Let’s go then, young man you’ll ride with me first, Krystal, kindly tell Hanuel to follow us, I’ll leave you there after, because I really need to be at Emerald office early.”

Shinhye turned to Andrei, “You take care of my son, I’ll contact you later.” And she held his hand as they walked out the house, Woo Bin following them.

“Krystal, please change his clothes if it’s wet with sweat, this change of season is making him sickly. And please update me every time ok?” Shinhye stated Krystal while patting Andrei’s head.

WooBin opened the passenger seat car door and Shinhye and Andrei went inside, while Krystal rode the car designated to Andrei which is driven by Haneul.

“Happy Birthday my only grandson, the most handsome man in the world” Choi Min Ja greeted Min Ho over the phone.

“Kamsahamnida halmoni, the most beautiful woman I so love” Minho replied, he is up early preparing for his one of a kind birthday celebration

“this is the first time in 10years that you did not spent your birthday here, none the less, I will still cook if ever you realize to drop by this old woman’s house, ok?’ Choi Min Ja uttered

“Saranghae halmoni, I promise I’ll have dinner there tonight, although it might be a little late” Minho once again replied

“Instead of spending your day with Kim Ji Won, you’ll spend it with a boy you barely know, why don’t you get married instead so that you’ll have a son of your own, before I die I could take care” Choi Min Ja teased

“Halmoni, I already planned my birthday, invite Ji Won if you like for dinner, I’ll be there anyways,” Minho’s tone obviously changed

“Aigoo, this namja, ok, I will see you tonight, your father will be here too, and have you talked to him?”

“Deh, he called me and greeted me already, halmoni you know I don’t feel like talking to him”

“He is still your father, one day you will understand when you’re already a father yourself” his halmoni scolded

“Halmoni, I better go, Andrei texted they’re on their way, I’ll call again later, saranghae” Minho cut off the line and prepared to leave.

Myeongdong was still quiet because it’s still too early in the morning, the boutiques and stores are still closed, but the pastry shop where they will have breakfast opened early, since Minho already arranged everything.

“I didn’t know this pastry shop opens this early” Krystal noticed

“Me too, this pastry shop is famous for their mouth-watering breads, specially their cinnamon bread” Haneul said and glanced at Andrei

“That’s why, cinnamon breads are this young man’s favourite” Shinhye pinched Andrei’s cheek

“Good morning, you must be Andrei, little handsome?” The pastry shop owner greeted them

“Why does it seem that Andrei was the one who has birthday instead of his Uncle Milo?” Woo Bin teased

“I think so too” Shinhye agreed

“Come, this will be your seat, all the yummiest cinnamon breads will be served in a while”

Andrei’s puppy eyes was obviously happy hearing what the owner said.

although SHinhye wanted to stay, but they have an early meeting to attend.

“Sweetheart, we need to go, I’ll see you later” Shinhye kissed Andrei and bid goodbye

“Krystal, Haneul please take care of my son and text me of your whereabouts” Shinhye instructed hwile Andrei was busy askig the pastry shop owner to pack some breads for his mom.

“Mom, here, take this with you, share it with the others, so that you’ll not be hungry on your meeting” Andrei handed Shinhye a bag full of cinnamon breads that the owner of pastry shop gave him.

Andrei: Uncle Milo, we’re here, but mom need to leave now, but she promised to be back later. Where are you?

Minho: Cinnamon monster, you’re at the pastry shop already? I’m 5minutes away, I’ll be right there.

Minho was in a hurry heading to the pastry shop when he bumped to Woo Bin at the car park area.

“Kim Woo Bin-ssi, what are you doing here?” Minho asked

“Lee Min Ho-ssi, anneyeonghaseyo, I accompanied Ms. Park, and headed to meeting, I am just waiting for her.” Woo Bin replied

“Park Shin Hye ssi? Is he-here?” Minho uttered

WooBin nodded, “There she is.” Woo Bin headed to the car and opened the passenger seat.

“Minho-ssi?” Shinhye was surprised to see Minho

“Shinhye-ssi” The only word that came into Minho after seeing Shinhye

“Woo Bin let’s go” Shinhye instructed WooBin, but before she entered the passenger seat she looked back at Minho

“Minho-ssi, saeng-il chhukhamnida” And she entered the car and Woo Bin closed the door

Before Minho could reply, Woo Bin closed Shinhye’s door and headed to the driver’s seat

“Seang-il Chukhae Lee MinHo-ssi” He said before he drove off to Emerald office.

Shinhye was busy on her laptop while WooBin keeps on glancing at her through the rear mirror, he is debating inside if he’ll ask her or not, “It is Minho-ssi’s birthday today, and Andrei’s Uncle Milo’s birthday too, are they the same person?” clouded on Woo Bin’s mind, he chose not to say it. But looking at Shinhye, he realized maybe he is not.

Minho was stunned with what happened “She greeted me” he mumbled and a faint memory from the past crossed his mind.

“Happy birthday my love” Shinhye greeted as she shower countless kisses on sleeping Minho beside her to wake him up.

With Minho’s half eyed open, he embraced Shinhye and showered her with kisses as well, “Thank you my love, celebrating my birthday ,with you beside me is the best birthday ever!”

“We will celebrate it for many years, this is just our second, remember?”

Minho nodded and locked his lips with Shinhye’s.

“It’s all in the past, Minho stop clouding your thoughts with impossible, you hate her. She didn’t remember, maybe Mr. Ji already told her, aissh.” Minho told himself while heading to the pastry shop.

“Uncle Milo! Happy birthday!” Andrei shouted upon seeing Minho
