The truth is that I don't like to drive and less my mother's Lexus with which I have to be very careful that could suffer any scratches or dents.

But I would say that this is not my only discomfort, there is something else that makes me feel uncomfortable since I left my uncle's office. I glanced at my right, it seemed that there was nothing more than the book of ancient poetry and Mir.

"Why a man of 24 years old read medieval poetry, and also studies politics? Maybe is because of his father, but that ..." I saw the engraving on the book cover, a tree without leaves

"Jin Ah!" he said abruptly closing the book, I deviated my gaze to look at the rearview mirror and disguise that actually I was watching him

"Yes" I said

"What do you think of present politics?"

What I think?" His question took me out of my thoughts "I don't like politics, so I can't make a proper comment about this”

"But you must have an opinion on international affairs"

"The truth is that I don't want to know about politics, but of your mysteries" I said quietly, the worst is that lack fifteen minutes to get to my mother "If I tell you what I think, can you do me a favor?"

He put the book on his lap, one of his hands remained over this, while with the fingers of the other ran his blond hair ruffling on the crown. Mir turned to me with his lips curved.

"I think you should pay me more for telling you what you want to know" He looked at me, then I heard a car horn and looked through the rearview mirror at the cab driver behind me waving a fist and shouting me to hurry up

"Best I concentrate on my driving"

"Do it" he said and reopened the book

"What the hell is this guy that puzzles me so much?" I mumbled, then heard my phone ringing, and thought it might be my mother but couldn't reach my purse which carelessly I throw on the back seat

"Damn!" I growled moving the arm to see if I could reach it, but Mir touched my arm and stretched his effortlessly grabbing my purse

"Here you have it" he said gentle

"Could you take my mobile from there, is in the outside pocket?" I asked, we were going to cross the street and I didn't want to hit anyone

He nodded moving the pin up and lifted the lid pocket, grabbed the phone along with a card that I had forgotten was there

"You're part of a reading group ... fantasy?" he asked handing me the phone, but stayed with the card

"No more" I pressed the screen "Mom"

"Jin Ah, you're coming?"

"I'm about to arrive"

"No ... I'll be here another two hours, it had arrived an old colleague from the United States and we will discuss some issues of its editorial"

"But ..."

"As is dinner time, you can go to eat something then you pick me up at eight"

I sighed, now I didn't know what to do with Mir which was supposed to meet my mother

"Mother, I'm with the son of senator Baek"

"Your father told me, you can go to eat, pay with credit card I gave you this morning for the fuel"

"Truly ..."

"Jing Ah, remember be polite"

"Yes mother” I said. If it had been my father I would have said no, but with my mother is different "I'll pick you up at eight"

"It happened something with your mother?" asked Mir

"Yes, change of plans" I said, then I felt a light touch on my hand which I had the phone. He took it and put it inside my bag with the card

"What do you want to do?" he asked me. If it had been some of those guys with whom I went out, would have said let's go to bowling or to eat, but this guy was letting me choose

"You know that I find interesting" I said, at least wanted to have a polite and courteous relationship with him "Your manners seem from a man from other century"

"It's a shame that me in these times are unpolite" he said

"Well you were educated in Europe and the US"

"It has not been for live in those places, is for my inheritance that I owe to be"

"Your father?"

"Something like that" he replied, I saw him keeping the book on his backpack "I invite you to eat ice cream"

"An ice cream, don't you think that it's better eat something more substantial, and salty?"

"I didn't say now, first let's go to eat something to calm your hunger"

"Now you sound like a man from these times, cubbish"

"You love to discuss" he chuckled nodding "Can a person have the same thoughts which had in her childhood?"

"There it is" I said and spotted a parking space near a fast food restaurant with a big yellow M

"Tell me why you know so much about me when I can't remember you?"

"Only if there is an exchange" he moved the hands it was handing a sheaf of  invisible cards "I will answer the questions that I think can answer, if you eat ice cream with me?"

"Just for an ice cream
