We are at a week of my sister's wedding; and today is the rehearsal (this is some bizarre idea of her friend, the planner to make everything more pompous) As the maid of honor I was forced to be present so as I have a test tomorrow I carried my books with me to study at the church when I've some opportunity. Mom and Dad were also here; even So Eun who came to give me moral support, but also to make a favor to my sister, being the girl who carries the flowers.

"You hate to be the maid of honor?” she said settling next to me

"She made me do that promise when she told me that Yoochun asked her marriage" I underline the paragraph of my book that had recently reviewed "Tomorrow is our exam and they thinks my time is their"

"The test is not difficult" So Eun said it with so much positivity that made me wonder if she was talking about the same subject as me "By the way when we're going to start with your grandmother's book?"

"As soon Dad gives me the copy of the manuscript, I thought of organizing the reading by chapters. We will work with the first, and ..."

"Mir is going to join us?" She grinned to me

"I think so" I wanted to snort, but didn't want she asked me once again what was my problem with him "Yuri goes on a trip with some friends, just at the same time my sister goes to her honeymoon, so we will be us and maybe him"

"He hasn't said if he will do" she commented

"Not yet"

Dad had talked to his father since he had been unable to locate him; apparently Mir went on a trip. I thought that maybe he was tired of living in Seoul and had returned to the United States, but according to Mr. Baek, he'll return in a couple of days. So we still don't know if he will be part of the project.

"I think you get used to him, but you refuse to admit that you liked Mir"

I lifted my head to respond to her, but I saw a familiar face staring at me insistently “Jin Ah!” yelled Eric waving his hand approaching us

"Who is he?" So Eun wondered

"Yoochun's friend, Eric Jun" I stood shaking mine, inviting him to sit with us

He gave me a kiss on the cheek, then greeted So Eun with a handshake after I introduced them

"If when I studied here I'd had mates like you two, I would not have gone" 

"You're good for the compliments" I said, So Eun gave me a nudge for my comment but I knew that Eric didn't mind for this. He has a biting humor as me

"When Yoochun told me about you, I thought he was joking but he was right. Eun Hye is softer and delicate, and..."

"I was left with the sour part"

"That pleases me, we have the same sense of humor" he looked at me and I held his gaze. He didn't intimidate me as with other girls, Eric was a real womanizer, but in a nice way

"Come on!" clasped the wedding planner calling us to go to the altar "I need to see position of each one of you

When I stood up to go at the altar, I felt a fresh scent like freshly cut wood and leaves bathed by the sunlight. I glanced to the hallway where it came from, and I saw Mir walking toward the altar. His blond hair and white shirt made him look perfect

"Good morning, Mr. Kim" he said when arrived with my father, who smiled widening his lips satisfied to see him

“Is nice to see you, son”

"Mir" said my mother as if she had seen Prince William “Finally I can see you”

"Who is that?" Eric murmured behind me 

"It's a family friend" So Eun answered him, winking at me

Mir turned and frowned when he saw me, then turned to give all his attention to my parents, also greeted Eun Hye and gave a hand shake to Yoochun

I couldn't stay outside the small circle who spoke cordially, waiting instructions of the wedding planner. I approached them, but I didn't do alone, Eric came with me. I saw Eun Hye's smirk to see us together, my father didn't even pay attention to us, so I discarded that he will say something

"Your father told me you were traveling" I overheard, that my father asked to Mir

"Yes" this replied "I should arrange certain things, but I came back in time for the wedding"

"I wondered what had happened to you" I asked, taking a step to stand next to him "Hello"

"Hello, Jin Ah" he was very cutting and not even looked at me as he always does, instead he walked away ignoring me to chat with the priest

"What's wrong with your friend?" questioned Eric behind "He seems annoyed"

I thought if his presence had to do with Mir's impolite gesture "I'll be right back"  I said to Eric

Obviously I couldn't stay with doubt of his attitude, but first I need to know what he's doing in the wedding rehearsal, and second what is happening to him
