Chapter 13
The Rebellious Bride
I walked aimlessly; seeing trees and more trees without knowing exactly where I was going, and if there were any population nearby. I not even know why I was dressed as a bride, and less why it looked like as if I was running away.
I woke up in a boat tied to a stick, confused and dizzy; I stood up and almost fall into the lake when I put my feet in the soil. It was as if whoever had left me there went with the idea that I will remain in that boat
"I was going to be married, and I was kidnapped?" that question came to my mind
I spent a kilometer walking, but I had to stop because felt some burning in my feet; I saw that I was barefoot and watery blisters covered part of my soles
"If I only knew where I am"
I saw everywhere, looking for some sign or mark that could show me where I have to go, when something strange grabbed my ankle
"What" I lifted my dress and saw what looked like a vine, wrapped around my calf to the ankle. Carefully I removed it, but then I saw others moving in my direction.
"What is this?" I ran fearful, and even more when the branches of the trees began to stir without the wind were blowing
"You cannot escape” it seems were screaming through the trees leaves which fell covering the ground on a lawn where I could hardly move
The more I ran, fell more leaves and increased the number of vines chasing me
The blisters also not helped me to escape, I felt burning in my soles that prevented me to keep the pace. I fell forward, little branches introduced into my palm when I put them on the soil to avoid hitting my face
"Everything conspires against me" I complained defeated. Whatever that was controlling this forest had won putting me on my knees. I began to mourn with fear and grief of being alone then something grabbed my waist and lifted me in the air making me fly to the tallest tree, away from the rest. By the impulse I shut my eyes, but when I opened, I discovered the most beautiful creature I've ever seen in my life.
"Don't worry" he said with overprotective air
His eyes have a particular hue of turquoise, and his blond hair had the color of the sun. I saw an earring dangling from his ear; it was just as the leaves fell from the trees. I put on alert and tried to step back, but there was nothing under my feet
"Beware" he held me stronger and we flied again to the tallest tree. I suffered from dizziness, and I wanted to vomit
"I ..."
"Look at me, Jin Ah" put his hand on my cheek, staring at me "You have the strength I need"
"Strength?" I said numbly
"Although he took by force, I found you" he held my head with a hand "You're my princesses, no one is going to separate me from you"
"Eh"
He approached my lips, as the wind whistled a name
"The prince..."
"Wake up, we'll be late"
I opened my eyes and saw So Eun with the head covered by a scarf and the lips painted in pale red
"What ... where is he?" I sat on the sofa looking around, seeking for the man I saw in my dream
"Of whom you speak?"
"No one" I massaged my temples confused. I don’t remember having a dream so vivid, so I checked the soles of my feet to see if I had blisters. Fortunately these were in perfect condition
"You were dreaming with Mir?" she asked me, passing cotton on her nails
"No ... but I'm not sure. I cannot remember his face, but his voice"
"What did you dream?"
