 With Him

“You’re telling me that you had accomplished everything? You totally got out from your comfort zone.” Sehun exclaimed once she arrived at the bubble tea shop. It’s almost closing time but they’re still there, hanging out, enjoying every single minute with each other’s accompany.

“Ah, excuse me,” the staff stated the moment she landed her feet in front the two. “It’s almost closing time. Um…” currently trying to search for words, Soojung smiled and stood up. Bringing the bubble tea in her hands and said, “Don’t worry. We will go now. Thank you for informing us.” she offered her a bright smile.

“Ah, sure. We will go now.”

“S–sorry for disturbing your conversation. We hope to see you again.”

Sehun and Soojung are currently strolling Seoul’s night market just like how normal people do. Their disguise did work very well – a wig and a mask.

Bright lights surrounded the city with the number of cars and people decreasing which helped them so much. This is what some idols want; to have some privacy and be treated as a normal person, closely to a nobody.

They are also a nobody before they entered the world where they currently are.

“Let’s buy ddeokbokki,” a mellow chuckle escaped Soojung’s mouth once she heard Sehun. “Aren’t you full? We just had a bubble tea.”  

“Yah!” he exclaimed. “It’s just for today. I hadn’t spent time with you since the rumor incident, you know.”

“Eh? Is it my fault?” she muttered softly. “I didn’t say anything like that. Let’s go.” Sehun grabbed Soojung’s wrist and dragged her at a nearby ddeokbokki stall. “Aish, really?!”

“Yep. Two ddeokbokki please,” Sehun muttered while putting out some bills from his wallet. “You spent too much. I’ll pay for m–”

“Serve it as a treat, Jungie.”

“Shh!” under the mask, Sehun’s lips tucked into a smile which Soojung noticed because of his eyes – it’s an eye smile after all, one of Sehun’s specialty. “Are you smiling or is it just me?”

Sehun shook his head while grinning. “Let me rephrase it,” he continued. “Are you smiling because of me?”

Soojung’s jaw dropped. What did he said?

She was about to hit him when the vendor gave them their ddeokbokki. “Prepare yourself once we arrived at the building, Mr. Smartass.”

“Watch your words, young lady.” he smirked. “Whatever, Smartass.”

“Stop repeating it, princess!”

“Yah, Oh Sehun. Where are you?” Junmyeon asked once Sehun answered his call.

“More like where they are.” a voice said from the other line which he recognizes as Baekhyun.

“Yah, hyung! What are you talking about?”

Baekhyun smirked from the other line. “I know what’s with Soojung recently. You don’t think I know?”

Sehun’s forehead creased. “What?”

“Don’t act innocent, Sehun. I know you’re with Soojung. You might be at a certain place or walking home up until now.”

Sehun looked at Soojung with her head currently leaned on his shoulder. “What is it, Sehun ah?” she muttered softly, enough for him to hear her melodic voice.

He shook his head lightly and shifted his attention to the caller. “I heard Soojung’s voice, Sehun.”

He bit his lip in annoyance. How come did he know?

“You’re crazy, hyung.”

“It will be raining. Better find an umbrella before it happens.” that’s what he said when they ended the call.

“Soojungie, I will be buying an umbrella,” he pointed at the store near them, few walks away. “See that? Would you like to come with me or I will just go there alone?”

“I’m okay here alone. I also need fresh air. Thank you, Sehun ah.”

“My pleasure. I’ll be back fast.”

Few minutes after Sehun left, she saw the grass went wet. She can also see a puddle forming near her. It started to rain, but she’s not soaked in water.

“Sehun?” she stated. “Wrong guess, Soojung. It’s me, Jongin.” She froze. Impossible. He won’t be here at this time.

“What are you talking about?” she questioned, not raising her head up to meet his gaze. “Umma wants to talk about our relationship.” Divorce, the first thing that came in her mind. Feel free, Soojung.
