Getting To Know You

“Oh it’s you!” She said smiling at me

“Yes it’s me” I said smiling back at her

“Miyoung!  You’re here! Oh you know each other?” Kyuhyun asked her

“Yes oppa I met him earlier this morning he helped me. But I didn’t know his name” she said

“I’m Choi Siwon and you’re Miyoung?” I said

“Oh, my name is Tiffany Hwang. Kyuhyun oppa just calls me that because he wants to tease me.”

She said glaring at her brother

“Oppa please don’t call me that again in front of other people” she added

“Anyway, Fany~ah we might still be here for an hour because of detention, just wait for us outside then we’ll be going home later.” Leeteuk said

“Okay then, I’ll just wait outside. Hey wait a minute detention? It’s the first day of class? What did you do?!” She asked frantically

“We’ll explain it later Miyoung. Just wait for us outside okay?” Kyuhyun replied

“Okay, better explain this to dad and mom later” She answered

She sits outside on the bench and waited for her brothers to finish their detention. As I stared at her outside the window I was happy to see her again. For me, she really looks like an angel. Her face especially her eye-smile really struck me the most. I was so mesmerized that I didn’t recognize that Mr. Boom is already here. He stared at me until he catches my attention.

“So Mr. Choi, it looks like you’re day dreaming there don’t you?” Mr. Boom asked me

“Uh no sir, I was just thinking.” I answered

“Thinking of what? Anyway let’s start the detention NOW.”

He said emphasizing the word ‘again’

As the detention goes on, I only kept thinking of Tiffany. I almost write her name on my paper.

After we finished the three pages of, “NEXT TIME, I WILL NOT BE LATE IN MR. BOOM’S CLASS ANYMORE” the three of us went outside. I saw my sisters chatting with Tiffany while waiting for us.

“Siwon oppa, you’re done with detention.” Seohyun said

“Oppa you’re late again with Mr. Boom’s class aren’t you?” Sooyoung asked

“Yes, I was about to go to my class when I bumped in to your friend here, Tiffany.” I said looking at Tiffany

“Oh, Sorry Siwon-ssi I’m the reason why you’re late in your class.”

Tiffany said feeling sorry for what she had caused me

“No, its okay I was glad to help you and besides, it’s not my first time to be late in his class.” I said to cheer her up

“But still I’m really sorry.” She said sincerely

Then she looked at her oppas and asks them.

“Are you late as well that is why you got detention today?” She asked

“Yes, we got lost here since this school is really big” Leeteuk answered

“I see, but still you have to tell mom and dad about this since we are late now.” Tiffany said to her brothers

“We’ll take care of that later, it’s already late let’s go now. Siwon nice to meet you and your sisters” Leeteuk said

“Nice to meet you, Kyuhyun and Tiffany” I said

“See you tomorrow Fany~ah!” Sooyoung and Seohyun said

“Okay then let’s go home and see you tomorrow have a great evening!” Kyuhyun said

Then we parted ways as we went home. While walking I ask my two dongsaengs about Tiffany.

“Sooyoung, is Tiffany has a boyfriend?” I asked hesitantly

“Hmm, she doesn’t mention it yet but I think someone likes her.” Sooyoung replied

“Oppa, why did you ask?” Seohyun asked

“Uh nothing I was just curious” I answered stammering with my words

“Curious? Why are you stammering then?” Seohyun asked while looking at me

“Oppa~ you like her don’t you?” Sooyoung added

“Uh, no I- Yes- I find her pretty that’s all.” I answered jumbling my words

“Oh~ haha it looks like you want to get to know her don’t you oppa?” Sooyoung said teasing me

“Siwon oppa, If you like we will give you her number so that you can text her later~” Seohyun added

“Oh really? Uh I mean okay I just want to tell her that the incident earlier was not her fault. I think she still blames herself.” I said explaining what my intentions are.

Tiffany POV

As we reach our house, I went to my room and lay down for a while so I could rest before we have our dinner. Suddenly I heard something then I noticed that it was my phone. I wonder who’s calling me when I just got home from school. I noticed that it was an unknown number, still I pick it up.

“Maybe it’s Sooyoung since I forgot to get her number” I said to myself

“Yeobeoseyo?” I asked to the caller

“Annyeong Tiffany, its Choi Siwon brother of Sooyoung and Seohyun” He answered

“How did you get my number Siwon-ssi? Oh, and why did you call?” I asked

“Uh I got it from Sooyoung; I just want to say hi and don’t think about the incident this morning because it’s really not your fault.” He explained

“Okay, I’m just bothered since it’s the first day of school then you got detention because of me” I said

“Well don’t be, it’s okay now because I finally got to meet you formally.” He said

“It’s really amazing don’t you think? My dongsaengs are your friends then your oppas are my classmates hopefully we can be friends as well.” He added

“Yes, it’s really amazing” I said

“So, are you already at your house?” he asked

“Yes, I’m in my room. How about you Siwon-ssi?” I said

“Same here, uhm Tiffany just call me oppa let’s avoid the formal thing.” He said

“Okay Siwon-oppa” I said while blushing

“That’s better, by the way am I bothering you?” He asked

“No oppa, I’m just lying in my bed waiting for dinner. Later I’ll be doing my homework.” I answered

“Oh I see okay rest well it seems like you’re tired” he said

“Okay, rest for a while too bye oppa” I answered

“Bye Tiffany” he said

After that conversation, suddenly I smiled and I don’t know why I felt that way. I can’t believe that he called me his voice was so sweet and calm that you might fall for whatever he says. I checked the time and it was already seven so I went down stairs for our dinner. Then after our dinner I fixed my stuff for tomorrow and went to my bed.
